Thank you. I was looking for the drain opening underneath the car. Your video saved me a trip to the dealer.

I have the same car as yours. A light blue 2013 BMW 328i. Just before Christmas, after 2 days of solid rain, I was shocked to find standing water on both the front and back passenger floors of the car! At first I thought it was a leak on the windshield but the guy at the auto glass was quick to point out the problem with clogged drains on the sunroof. I was about to take the car to the dealership which would have cost me a few hundred dollars to fix until I happened to come across your video! Thank you so much! You just made my day! 🥰

Finally solved the problem of my wet carpets. I used some nylon trimmer line to get into the drain and really clean it out good.

Good job showing where it is, bummer you watched the video by the guy with the wagon who did remove the wheel...maybe different model. I was hoping you'd show where it originates from the in the moonroof housing.

Good point. I should have shown where the clog originates from / where the drain starts. They are at the front corners of the moonroof, right where we poured the water. If you look closely at those corners in your own moonroof, you will see the small entryways/wholes. My clog was at the end of the drain, though, by the door. So my video wouldn't have shown a clog/buildup in the moonroof.

My issue was a bit hard had a lot of debris so I use the air blower a small tire inflator with a small plastic piece that goes inside the hole and it will blow everything out from the bottom.

My guess is you would find them by opening the trunk lid.
