- When are you going to go into labor? Your body gives you clues that you will be having a baby soon. In this video, I will go over the early signs of labor We will talk about what is normal and what is NOT normal. Soft signs of labor are things you will notice that don't mean you are in active labor, but that your body is preparing to go into labor within the next few weeks

About this video: The soft signs of labor are the things your body does leading up to delivery. They don't mean that you are in active labor. They mean your body will probably go into labor within the next few weeks. Active signs of labor or signs that you are actually IN labor. Braxton hicks, bloody show, mucous plug are a few examples of early signs of labor.

I am 34 weeks and going through nesting tremendously. I re-painted all rooms, dusted everything I owned, and threw out everything I could. I prepared all baby items and pre-washed them as well. :)

39 weeks tomorrow and been nesting for months..started with donating clothes, then tossing expired food in my cabinets, shredded old mail etc. A nervous excitement for the baby to arrive but knowing there will always be more to do ..are we ever truly ready ?! Lol smh.. thnx for the tips definitely have changes going on w my body that weren't happening in previous months.. like my tailbone has never hurt..or my hands.. but ever grateful regardless... she will soon be here for me to love in a whole new way.. good luck to all the parents on repeat and the new members of the club..🙏🙏
I'm at 28 weeks with my first. My doctor was concerned I was going into preterm labor. I went to L& D on doctor's orders because of abdominal pain, and if it weren't for them monitoring contractions, I don't think I would have realized.that they were contractions with the other pain I had. I thank God that they ended up not being labor contractions, but all the tests made me a bit nervous. This video is helpful to understand what goes on as a first timer!
I have been having the urge and desire to "nest" but not the energy to do it, and I just began the 3rd trimester.

My wife and I really appreciate you for the great videos you put up to help both experience and inexperience people. My wife gave birth on Sunday by 2:25am at 40 weeks and 4 days pregnancy.
Her sign of labor was a bit different, we were waiting for waste pain but she didn't feel that, she only felt pain in her lower abdomen and later she started vomiting before you know it our son was already coming out but we made it to the hospital anyway.

I'm 37 weeks and 4 days. This weekend we painted the trim, base boards, and doors. My hubby refinished the floors, I cleaned out our hall closets. I was going to deep clean my room today, but I am sooooo tired. So that's my next tackle. I can't wait to get it all done. Haha.

Haha the leaning back part is so funny, I started walking leaning back for over 2 weeks now and my husband thought i walk quite funny lol 37 weeks and two days today with my first baby. I lost little mucus plugs over 2weeks ago haven't had any since, every now and then I have lower back ache. My Braxton Hicks are getting more uncomfortable, I start to have them more of those and I been having hard time breathing especially laying down. The last 2 days I start to feel exhausted to a point where I can't do anything but sleep.
My last dr visit 6 days ago she said baby head has face down.
The more uncomfortable it gets the more I'm over with being pregnant and cannot wait to meet my baby girl.
I'm 35w5d and having some of these sings. Due Jan 16th so now it's just a waiting game. Thanks for all your videos they really do help
35+4 today! I relate to these comments so much. The nesting is real! I deep clean EVERYTHING and I have never liked cleaning. I’ve had a lot of Braxton hicks contractions as well , leg cramps behind my knees, lower back aches, exhaustion after walking or being on my feet too long. I’m so so so excited to meet my babygirl she’s due Aug 21 st!!
35+6 also due Aug 21st. Feeling all the feels. BH contractions that last longer than ever, some pressure with a feeling like like cramping or quick pain. Feels like baby is trying to step out of my cervix. Numb leg, heartburn, more discharge and the nesting is real.To bad the house keeps getting back messy since I still have 4 wks…over it but want to go to due date.

That little calendar at 2:35 had me startled a little, because my due date is Nov 5th. Which is next week! Haven't felt/seen any of these signs yet, except for baby engaging about 4 weeks ago. So excited to start noticing something!

Nesting is real! I began nesting 2 weeks ago I am 29 weeks. I went through my closet and donated about half the stuff. Ordered new furniture that would help with space since we live in an apartment and baby will be sharing the room with me and hubby. I got a bed frame with drawers to keep baby’s clothes in there. We got baby gates bc we have pets to keep from our little dachshund from jumping on our little one. I had hubby rearrange the living to make it baby safe and a section for our pets. The urge was strong and I feel better now that we have a lot done in our place. I plan to have the carpet shampooed so when baby is old enough for tummy time it will be clean of course I’ll still use a mat I just want the place clean and safe for our little one. It’s my first and I just been trying to get things ready. The further along I get my sciatica has been more consistent and I get some pain in my groin area which started about 3 weeks ago.

@@samilesamil9159 hi! I actually didn’t make it to 40 weeks. My blood pressure creeped up and was on alert. By the time I hit 33 weeks I was taken off work and had to do NST (neonatal stress test) and blood pressure readings twice a week. I had my baby by 35 weeks. They tried to push me to at least 36 and on but my blood pressure was way too high I ended up with preeclampsia. Yes the Braxton hicks are real! And they hurt but it’s normal just take it easy done over work yourself.

I’ve felt nesting around 25 weeks. Got everything ready he had then, after my baby shower I got everything done for him. Now it’s just keeping up on cleaning, getting cars detailed, and buying the few last items for him

Have been feeling increased pressure on my cervix with some dull pain. Some random sharp, quick pains that shoot across my belly, barely any appetite, a tonne of heartburn, and let's not talk about hip/pelvic pain. Or sleep, for that matter. 😅

She is predicted to be large (already over 8lbs) and I am super small and petite (4’11” and 100lbs pre pregnancy).. unfortunately I was hit with GD so they are inducing me at 39.

plug today.. lots of lower back pain.. just waiting now, I would be super happy if things got going on their own before my induction in 11 days!

I’m 38 weeks 4 days .. I might even be 39 weeks already.. this is my first pregnancy and I’m excited for the baby .. but also nervous a little about what childbirth is gonna be like .. I hope we both make it safe and that I’ll be joyful and pleasant when I meet my baby ..
A lot of my cousins reported feeling baby blues and depressed after childbirth.. one of them even started to see a therapist and had a serious case of postpartum depression.. so this makes me very scared and anxious that I might have a similar reaction but hopefully not ..
36+1 today with a huge baby and horribly painful symphysis pubis disfunction :( I hope that lightening won't cause this to worsen as I already can barely walk. I'm really hoping my baby decides to make a slightly earlier appearance around 37-38 weeks!! I'd love to have him in my arms for Christmas (and to not be in pain for the holidays lol)
I would say I'm in the nesting phase .I'm home preparing everything so that my baby and I are nice and comfy when we get home.

37 weeks today! Pregnant with my first. I have had horrendous lightning crotch, pelvic “heaviness” and aches as well as increased sensitivity. Discharge is either very watery or milky (TMI) no uterus cramping, but some side cramps.
Hoping my little girl comes soon❤

I’ve done so much nesting I don’t know what to do with myself anymore lol. I’m 37 weeks and 3 days today and my last day of work was today and I’m on leave now. So far I’ve taken apart and reorganized all my kitchen cabinets, both hall closets, the bathroom closet, I went through mine and my husbands closet, I also cleaned out and reorganized the laundry room. I’ve been so tired lately but I’ve had really bad restless legs so it’s hard for me to just sit still I’ve always been a very active person but now I don’t know what to do for these last couple weeks before baby comes lol. I’ve washed all his laundry and have everything set up, have my hospital bags packed and by the front door, I’ve got a freezer full of easy meals prepped for after we come home with baby too. I couldn’t be more ready and now I’m bored lol.
Look into magnesium for restless legs! It will help!

I'm 36weeks just recently came from the hospital for all these signs they said I'm about 2centimeter dilated but not ready yet this pain does not stop I can't do much because of that bedrest is what was recommended by my doctor I can't wait to meet my baby good luck to all those mothers

It’s my second, but I 100 % feel like he’s dropped. I have so much pressure down there, lots of lightning crotch, more braxton hicks, aches and pains (sometimes period like pains). I’m excited to see how long I’ll feel like this before he arrives. I’m 37+2 😄
We have a two year old daughter and im pregnant 35 weeks pregnant with our second daughter she is a high risk pregnancy and dropped and i breathe so much better now even though the pain and pressure is uncomfortable but she can come anytime now and my husband and I are so excited but I think her papa might be even more excited than we are about his grand daughter coming possibly in the next 4 weeks if not sooner 😂🎉❤

First time to hear about nesting wow! I dont feel crazy any more! have been extremely anxious because due to the high risk of premature birth I have been in bed since week 22, now I am in week 35 and until 37 I must rest. Not being able to keep my baby's room and things tidy has me in a bad mood and very sensitive.
I felt my baby fall into place and that hurt so bad. First baby so I hope I really don’t feel that again. I just had my mucus plug fall out in a huge amount at exactly 39 weeks. I’m also very effaced, so I hope I deliver this heavy boy soon.

I am on my 33 weeks and 4 days and my first time of pregnancy. I am not sure if labor is coming but i the catching of breaths are eminent and braxtons contractions is always there for me, although it goes away nut the tightening of the stomache and hard to make bowel movement ( even if i have greens and fibrous for meals ). My back is starting to ache too. Thanks doc diana for these information, i watch everyday for update.
#Firsttimetobemom currently 36 weeks 5 days pregnant. I have been feeling the nesting feeling since last 2 weeks. I do have those off and on period cramps and now it's hard for me to walk. More over I certainly feel pressure on pelvis and it's hard to breathe as well. (All the best to mamas)

I am 28 weeks pregnant and the NESTING is real! Cleanong, organizing the home,getting rid of clothes or things I have not used for more than a year to make room for pur baby! Also since I do alot of photography its NESTING and cleaning up my harddrives, SD cards ,laptop so I can capture our new phase of life coming soon ! Thank you Diana!

35 weeks and 5 days currently. Noticed that she has dropped, feeling more pressure in pelvis and definitely using the bathroom more. Also have lower back cramps and soreness. They did tell me at ultrasound that she measured like she was 11 days more developed. My 3rd kid but I'm so nervous 😱

41weeks today, no contraction, no labor sign, getting worried, have been watching your video since six weeks, and scan says all is well

I’m 38 weeks and 5 days. I am nesting by cleaning doors in my house, vacuum the floors! Washed laundry and sheets!
I was in labor for over 24 hours, pushed for about 4 hours but unfortunately, baby got stuck and couldn't make it past my pubic bone. We ended up doing a C section, which I was bummed about but all that matters is baby is here safe and sound! My labor signs were losing my mucus plug over 4 days, some bloody spotting, and then the most intense period type cramps ever imaginable. It was a mix of cramps and feeling like someone was ripping my pelvis apart. As soon as I got to the hospital, I got the epidural. No regrets about that! They had to turn it down during pushing so I could feel the contractions and push with them, and omg was that painful as well! We tried all kinds of positions, labored down for hours, but unfortunately, none of it worked. I'm just happy my baby is finally here though!! She is gorgeous, I am so in love. Anyway, just wanted to update you, Diana, and say thank you for these great videos. They taught me so much throughout my pregnancy!

38+3 days today😊 I’ve been 2cm dilated since 35weeks and I haven’t gotten checked since but I do feel like I’ve dilated more since! I’ve had a lot more discharge like a milky white constancy. But I’ve noticed my surges getting painful now in my back and and deep in my pelvis (which is him probably putting pressure on my cervix😅) this is my second baby and boy #2 hoping to have an unmediated birth, wish us luck!💙
Update! I had my baby boy December 8th! Push for 22 min and no tearing! I give it all to the inducing labor video on CZcams for stretching and meditation. I’m so happy to have my family together forever now!

Nesting urge is real ! I am 35 weeks 2 days pregnant. This is my last week at work before I start my mat leave and I can’t wait to deep clean my house!!
