As an idea of a collaborative city build, how about something like a 2 Builders 1 City? It mitigates many of the issues you've mentioned you had with 5B1C and people may find it easier to choose to start watching one other city builder as opposed to many? Easier to coordinate mod sets and settings, and decide on how you do each other's stuff too.
Also sad I couldn't be awake for your stream when it's the diurnal people sleeping hours here in New Zealand
Agree with the roads not all matching, including parking lots. Where I live that's absolutely the case. Different roads get paved by different companies on different years so they all age differently.
Inconstant road colors are more realistic!
Also agree about the cul de sac. I work in a business park about 4x larger than Robin district that's one loop - one way in.
That new area is absolutely incredible! It literally outshines the rest of the city as it's all pretty much zoned
My thought on busline is making just one route going around the city collecting and dropping people off on different spots . Without going into the terminal. Use one busline assigned for the terminal only to collect people from one bustop only, back and forth. Use terminal to transport passengers from one city to the other direct route back and forth . That would minimize the amount of busses on the road . And quicker collecting the people around
HEY BIFFA! Watching this stream version makes me appreciate all the time you spend off camera to make the building look effortless. No wonder I spend hours and hours working on my village only to say "I don't look half as good as Biffa's"

Where I live, there's actually 2 buslines (CW & CCW) that go in loops, following the inner City-Ring. So, realistic enough imo

I think the thing with people listening to your vids to go to sleep is your voice is mice and relaxing and calming and th content is the same.

I feel bad I missed the live stream. but family comes first. I was out of town on vacation in Las Vegas.
I hope someone pointed out to Biffa every time he makes' an intersection "bigger" with node controller he's actually making the 2 lane side much smaller. Never use the adjust all offset when you have two different sized roads intersecting, or you end up with mismatched offsets. All of those two lane road interceptions in this video are super scrunched up to the four lane roads they intersect.
The statue is the Colossus of Rhodes. It's one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World
Biffa I honestly think you should do town buses to bus hubs then. Two buses from that towns hub to another two towns bus hubs either way, then those towns have their own bus lines CW & CCW, the biggest of the towns in a generalised area could possibly have a bus hub that has a line that takes them further such as the city part of the map, also taking into consideration where your ferryâs/trains/trams,vanicular & cable cars are in each town.
I hope my explanation is easy to read ahh I hope you understand.

You were the person that inspired me to build my own city and I did finish it
For 5 builds, one city, is there a mod where multiple people can work on the city simultaneously? Imagine 5 builders vying for space and cash to build their own features, like 5 different building consortiums each concerned with a different aspect (one person focusing on housing, one on business, one on Parks&Recreation, one on industry, and one on public works and transit)

I feel there should be 1 line that goes around the area with the university a second express line that connects the 2 areas together with may just a few stops and then another that runs around the second area with a stop that allows changing over. That way people from the new residential area can get to the nearest shop and other amenities but also change to get over to the train station

It's funny you said put the video on double speed because then you won't fall asleep, because I always watch your videos and speed and a half (pretty much all videos, actually) and somehow tend to find myself falling asleep... Probably shouldn't watch them so late SuperVinlin

@Biffa Plays Indie Games which one? mass transit? also quick question I'm thinking about finally making the jump to dlc and getting mass transit but I'm questioning if it's worth it. I have a quite large NYC style grid city with 120k people and my busses and metro is stacked, which of the mass transit vehicles do you like the most and what's their purposes? maybe talk about it a bit more in your next transit focused video cause it's quite confusing ahaha. love the videos man
@Belly honestly I'd search up what all the dlc offer. They all give something but its whether you consider it important enough to you(especially if you can get them in sale). Snowfall (trams), and natural disasters (emergency service airports/ seismic detectors(?) ) are the ones I'd say are very niche. Then they become what do you really want to do (if you're buying the older ones always wait for them to be on sale).
Edit: the tarantula Station was part of the content creator pack "train stations", if you're looking at ccp's the older ones are less impressive than the newer ones

What this game desperately needs, in my opinion, is light aircraft to ferry people around the map. These would work in the same way as helicopters, maybe up to 4-6 people?
