Well just means the OG Mecha resellers gonna skyrocket the mold now that we got this smoll boy.
It’ll only get worse once the standard version of this thing drops on the 18th. Well.. maybe. I’ve seen a few older releases really taper off and on in price since their newer counterparts dropped. At least on Mandarake.
@@ShinRobjira Really crazy to think all three versions of the mold going from Godzilla Island to MMS launch mold are pretty damn hard to come by these days (especially one with a tag still in place). Only upside this new one has is the head and the feet not being warped. Also I personally think the "default" MechaGodzilla 1993 mold coming out in late February is going to be be the same size as its Super counterpart. I said since that's like they made SoS Kiryu and SoS Kiryu with the missile launchers different sizes when that isn't the case.
You know what’s weird is that varan was made huge but he is one of the smaller kaiju but then destoroyah, ghidorah, biollante, super mechagodzilla all those are made so small but they are the bigger monsters 😂
Shine silver paint very nice! Nomal mecha godzilla will be release 2/18.
The brightness is amazing compared to the dull silver color of the old ver.

How to fix this figure: make him a bit bigger, change the plastic for his cannons and give him more paint where is necessary.
Not to be a negative nelly, though he isn't gonna send me to a mental institution for not being a masterpiece. Your analysis of the figure is more entertaining than the figure itself anyway.

It's a real shame that the more accurate version of mg2 is a small tin can
But overall this figure is a super mecha
The molds get better, but the paint takes a wicked nose dive into the hudson. What a trade off.
I think I’d rather less accurate with more paint, tbh.

I think the solution to the plastic problem is that they could ship them with an extra bag including the cannons similar to what x-plus does with extra parts as a means of preventing breakage during shipment. I know it's bandai so you can't really expect much, but you'd figure they'd try to work on the warpage problem by now given how long it's been an issue.
That was my original hope before seeing it in hand. They did that with the Shin Ultraman Spaciam Pose figure. Little baggie with a stand in it attached to the tag. Same could’ve very well worked here.
They have options, I’m just not so sure why they don’t take them. Probably costs. But damn.

It would take less than five minutes to fix the cannons with a hair dryer. Why complain about something that's a result of shipping and not an actual issue with the figure? Otherwise the review is helpful, it is a shame there's no paint on Garuda.
To be fair, they’re all suffering from some warping. Even the ones out in Japan, ironically, some of those are worse than some in hands I’ve seen here in the states lol I really don’t mind it, I’m just glad it’s not horrific. If the canons don’t straighten out further, I’ll just do what you do with the hair dryer lol

Brachiosaur robot with bent noodles and minimal paint job. Oof. Still love him tho. Hope that the cannons can be de-warped somehow. Then he'll be decent at best.
Seems like the canons will over time, mine certainly did out of the box. Apparently it’s a simple enough hair dryer fix.
I’m just gonna wait until the morning to see if they gotten any better before I get all gung-ho about it lol
But yeah, for the most part. He okay. At least he shines nice lol

If it wasn’t directly from the Godzilla store and through an opposite site, they usually take a bit to get things in.

The only Heisei Mechagodzilla I got is the US one and it's a good scale to the Neca Godzilla 1994 I also got with some others

Awesome review man! the silver paint looks good but the figure is quite small. One question , will you review the new gashaportraits premium Asuka with the ripped plugsuit and the shinji set?

Likely, yes. I imagine when they made this one, they made the Garuda-less version on the side. Expect more of the same with that one.

I’ve been trying to track this guy down but I can’t.
You can get him off the Godzilla store through their Buyee Extension which ships to the US. Import sites like, Amok Time Toys, Showcase Daikaiju & Awesome Collector had order slots for him as well, dunno if they’re still up or not, but they’re all trustworthy sites.

Gotta be honest, i'd say this is decent release, btw speaking of the size can I just say that it would've been better had they had releases like mg here and destoroyah at the very least be the same size as the Godzilla's in the line, like yeah it still not size accurate but personally that would at least be suitable imo (i believe bandai america destoroyah, and MMS Mecha King Ghidorah were like this if I'm not mistaken in terms of being the same size as their Godzilla's) but yeah this figure is pretty much a overall decent release, even though I personally am just gonna get regular mg 93 when he releases, cause the mg 93 with Garuda I'm gonna get is from super7

Hahah Yupp bandai pulling bandai things! for me though I am glad my cannons are basically in perfect shape and were slightly warped! For me I’m glad I got this guy even though I did want to track down a 30cm xplus version but space isn’t in my favor but someday. But for the long distance I love this figure
