Madam, I am following you for the last 10 years and I tell everyone e quoting you that no food is good for us if it is not grown within 100 Km from our place of stay , as recommended by you. But people these days are more showy than they were before and so they prefer quinoa , avocado, oats, whey protein and celery etc. only to show , how Healthy their foods are because it is cooked only in Olive Oil !! The dieticians also suggest these items mostly. Thanks for the post as it will continue to guide me what a good food is .

I am from Karnataka and our food habits and diet exactly looks and tastes as you always mention. Particularly our meal contains Jawar roti or chapatis, little or small portion of rice dal, one other veg, one leafy veg, one sprouts, flaxseed/ nigerseed/ ground nut chutney with curd, salad,pickle. Could you please explain the significance of this balanced diet.

The things which you are talking was surprisingly what I belive due to cold storage everything is available throughout the year whether it's in season or not, we wrongly consume those vegetables but non seasonal vegetables are tasteless and bad for health. Winter vegetables available in summers and vice versa. When we were kids we used to eat certain fruit in particular season because it gives us immunity according to that season. We have to go back to basics and give our children the food we used to eat in our childhood.

Ma'am what is your opinion about satvik movement yoga diet. According to them morning ash gourd juice, or any green juice, breakfast any fruit. Lunch cooked food but without oil and have to add raw tomatoes and coconut to the curries. They have some cooking style which can't satisfy our hunger level. Night veg salad or soup.
Oil and ghee are absolutely necessary for good functioning of so many things in our body. Don’t need to follow every advice out there blindly. I personally only cook exotic recipes or such different food as you mentioned in your comment, when I want a change of taste or want to try something new. Traditional food is best.

Fancy diet but that puts strain on your pocket. Then What's the point of eating healthy ? Great video madam. At the end we want to eat healthy to provide right nutrients to our body and mind . But if that diet put stress on your budget and on you . Then that makes no sense.
