超級好看，許昕和劉詩雯心理素質也太強了吧
The Chinese are so good at analyzing & neutralizing others' games, and lo and behold now they are doing it to each other. The next gen is giving the current reigning gen a tough time. Chen Xingtong was blocking so many of Xu Xin's powerful forehand loops that most other females could not handle, she was amazing. I thought Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen were at their top form in this game, it was just that Zhou Yu/Chen Xingtong were just superb. The Chinese must have been training hard, because they seemed to just raise the game's level again. There were so many insane rallies.
Good tournament. XX and LSW rarely lose, and they lost at the right time to learn what they need to improve before the Olympics.
This is only the beginning of their back together after a long layoff; they shall be back.
Zhou and Chen were 2017 Asian Championship gold medalists, not just any pair.
Xu Xin just tired

混双真的出乎意料的好看。。我一直以为混双是最没看头的，但是没想到这么激烈。双打里落点要更重要，所以在单打里不得不反拉的很多局面在双打里通过反手压制好的落点能取得更好的效果。陈幸同牛逼

许，刘必须加强力量了。力量不足压制不住凶猛加速度。这是他们单打成绩不理想的关键。这个弱点原来还能在双打中得到弥补，因为每板之后有缓冲。现在看来也靠不住了。刘可能不太容易在力量方面取得很大的改进，许还有希望。担子主要靠许来挑了。
陈幸桐的反手已经压住许昕的弧圈球好多次了，许昕还是照样攻其反手。。唉！

Both Xu and Liu were showing the age, sadly for the sports. They don't look like the best mixed double now.
Xu Xin would say it is my fault if we lost and xu Xin with his new racquet and bad form will rebounce back at the Olympic !
@@rogernguyen1273 Xu is not getting any younger. Sports, especially table tennis that depends so much on quick reflex, speed, quickness and explosiveness, are ultimately young people's domain. Of course, Tom Brady is an exception, even so, QB depends more on minds and experience than raw athleticism.
@@michaelshaw7652 They are still chosen for the Olympics, this loss will help them improve and prepare. Their head coach still believes they are the best mixed doubles and the key to winning the doubles in olympics
@@gab5012 The problems for Xu and Liu seems Xu cannot consistently execute his killer forehand anymore and Liu lost some speed and quickness resulting lots of errors. Both problems are not easy to fix due to their ages.
@@michaelshaw7652 I used to think similar things about Ma Long and his knee injury, I thought over 30 was too old for his fast and aggressive forehand dominant playstyle, he won't win international games anymore (but he proceeded to win ITTF men's world cup and WTT Macao etc). Man Ma Long cucked me so badly XD. But you may be right, it's possible xu xin missed more forehands because his feet are taking slightly longer to reach this right position and that can be due to age :|

Very good question. My guess is no, but it's difficult to argue XX and LSW are in good form on the evidence of this tournament. You just suspect XX will return to magician mode in Tokyo. More worried about LSW.
