Hey dude! I’ve been a hobbyist photographer for years….but not beginning to charge for “work” as a side hustle (I’m not sure if I like that term/phrase….)… You’ve entered my CZcams algorithm and this is the first video I’ve seen of yours. It’s inspiring to know the market may not be as saturated as I may think in Southern California, even if you’re in Santa Barbara. I’m obviously not a pro, but no one asks what I’m shooting with when peeping my images. I’m going to stretch my m43 system and good glass as long as I can until I can afford full frame, not for image quality, but for a better workflow. How long did it take you to realize, going full time was going to be sustainable, and how long after did you actually pull the trigger?(quit the “day” job)…..it’s probably in your other videos. 😂. I guess I’ll subscribe. 👍🏾
Great to hear your business is doing well. I really need to start making money from photography as a second income, I say it every year but it never happens. Currently a full time software dev but been shooting for 10 years and never done anything with it.

Dear i have canon eos R7 , I'm new. Already i have lens , which come with camera, bought 50mm, I'm taking photos of vehicles, sometimes record video. If i buy one lens so which you will recommend ?
R5 vs R3 which do you prefer for photo and video , considering r6ii but I’ve had an R5 in the past . Got a crazy deal on a Sony A1 so I switched systems but dang I miss canon
I like both for different reasons! The R5 is a great all around camera and the resolution is amazing. But the R3 is the BEST in low light situations. So it depends on the scenario. I use the R3 for my stage work - it is so amazing for any type of performance photography. I also use it for reception/etc. at weddings. R5 is great for couples sessions, weddings during the day. I just started using Dubsado a few months ago and I am really liking it!
@@TheZachMendez I have not fully tried dubsado, I use Pixieset and they just picked up some of the management sections of other crm. I looked into Honeybook, shoot Q and Studio Ninja. Did you ever sell your 50L Ef? :)
