Thailand Pavilion EXPO 2020 DUBAI Celebrating Loy Krathong , Thai Festival of Lights and Lanterns

- The "Loy Krathong" evening is one of Thailand's most beautiful events. It's a time when people congregate near lakes, rivers, and canals to pay homage to the goddess of water by releasing magnificent lotus-shaped rafts into the water, which are decked with candles, incense, and flowers.
Loy Krathong -- literally means to float a crafted item of respect into the water -- occurs every year on the 12th lunar month's night (typically in November), towards the conclusion of the rainy season, when the full moon illuminates the sky. This year, at Thailand Pavilion, bring this festival to the eyes of the world at Expo 2020 Dubai.

I am so delighted to hear that you enjoy and also taste iced tea/ coffee and Thai snack:-) On the 19th of November is the main day of Festival, please join the special activities on that day. Loy Krathong's song during the end of show, the rhythm is very fun. The lyric invites everyone to join the Thai dance on Loy Krathong's Day, make a wish, pay respect to the River and have fun together:-)
Loy Krathong (Thai : ลอยกระทง ) is a Thai festival celebrated annually. We made krathong and float on a river. Many Thais use the krathong to thank the Goddess of Water. Loy Krathong 2021 will be celebrated on the night of Friday, November 19th. If you have the chance, you can come to this festival next year. Welcome to Thailand.
