the cries and mourning was so powerful to me, I remember being a kid and watching this with little understanding but still crying because I knew they had lost something which meant so much to them. To this day the same applies.
It’s very rare that a movie had an emotional hold on me as a teen but this one definitely did. I felt the heartbreak, the rage because I knew this was a reality for many in the past and in todays world. I don’t care what anyone says, this was a brilliantly made movie
2:39 the fact that the lady in the back was crying shows how her, norman and the other teams (Not the Rda ones) had felt a connection with these Navis and Eywa itself they had cared about their nature and only wanted to experience the ethical beauty of pandora, So it is a hit in their heart SOOO much to see how they just stand there couldn't do anything but felt so bad and had remorse to see the destruction of The Navi's beloved home fall into the ground and killed many of its kind and loved ones infront, My gosh this is so heartbreaking even for neytiri's loud crying made me burst out of tears to see how their clan isn't that peaceful because how much war they have been through😢💔
i remember seeing the film with my parents, my mum and I were at the edge of crying. my dad was so mad, he took it personal, he loves nature and he said that they represented humans perfectly.
2:44 when Norman punches that guy to stop him from pressing the button, i can feel the character's desperation and urgency! But it also gives me a surge of adrenaline, and I'm like hell yeah, eff him up!
I specially like the scene with the chairman guy seeing the children and people running crying, it's like for a tiny little second he felt the weight of his decision but then he comes back to the awful man he is..
Yeah he’s a very realistic corporate businessman character, mostly driven by greed and profit but still has some humanity left. Thats why I like James Cameron’s films, his characters have layers and are quite relatable.
@@Nicholas_Chen_ yeeh he's a company manager but is he paid to do massive genocide? Was this what he was aiming for? It wasn't, so JC makes it clear in that tiny second of humanity he had
@@Nicholas_Chen_ That’s what I like. He wasn’t just this black and white type of character. There were other layers that came with him. He was driven by nothing but greed but he was also hesitant about the plan initially. Quaritch kind of got in his ear instead of looking for another alternative
This is one of the most intense scenes I’ll never forget seeing in theaters with my dad and mom back in 2010 . Zoe really portrayed Neytiri very well .
I was 8 seeing this there were moments I could feel what emotion they are feeling after loosing their hometree and her father 22 now still makes me cry
Crying while watching behind the scenes, crying while watching the movie, crying while thinking about it. I love this movie so much🥺 forever going to be my favorite😔
Yeah they might've heightened emotions in their CG versions a slight bit. I'm observing the same in all the behind the scenes for most of the cast. Or it might be just that we are not able to see the full performances of the actors due to the lighting of the face camera boom., I'm assuming it removes the shadows from the eyebrows and other areas for the normal viewer, which are necessary to convey emotions properly.
THE EPIC ACTING WAS... INCREDILE!!!! Poor neytiri... Like bring them back she deserve better 😭 she lost her son neteyam , her sister , her father i dont know whats more i just forgot cuz i only watched avatar 1 one time
The sole fact that THAT tree (one that they see as a big and dependable elder brother) has protected the people for generations and know is gone and used to kill them is just so horrible
this scene is powerful you could see how shocked the workers are they did not want to do that to pandora but they had to do it due to a live or die situation and only cause they were scared the Cornell would do something to them
I’m crying I wish They actually cared about them because they are still a person they are creatures but I still think they are humans THINK ABOUT THEM IF THAT WAS YOUR HOME YOU WOULD ACT LIKE THAT I would YOU WOULD BE CRYING IF THAT. WAS YOUR DAD I’m crying because my brother said what if that was our dad he now has to make me clam because I’m god dam crying
The scene looks so different to that of when jake accidently harms palulukans and neytiri was calm about this But know this scene here looks different Also i noticed how the actor of eytukan looks same
Maybe the humans shouldn’t be wanting to mine unobtainium on Navi territory. I think they should establish Navi reserves treat them a little nicer and mine the resources that are not on Navi territory.
I know people call this movie cliche and bad but this scene was so powerful god I can’t get over the amazing acting

Avatar 2 is good
Neytiri's wailing of grief for her father, and Mo'at's cries for her home saddened me so hard:/

It's from James Horner
