    Hello again, Terry.
    Can you give some direction on how to create a shadow that blends and/or bends from horizontal to vertical, as if a wall is behind the subject?

      The transform tool is your key, as well as maybe you need to make two shadows, one that casts on the ground, and one on the wall. Blend them with a layer mask. Also, keep in mind how shadows work. The one on the ground will fade a bit, while the one on the wall will be much more defined. You can determine this by looking at the light and seeing how soft or sharp the shadow should be. Hope this helps.
