    Thank you Terry, I probably wouldn't have ever tackled Lightroom and Photoshop without your tutorials. They are much appreciated.

      Great to hear! It’s fun stuff to shoot knowing you have a plan on how it will end up.

    Terry, thank you for making Lightroom Classic so much more useful. I have a ton of pics from African Safari that I shot in Raw format and 1 year later am finally able to start to process them. Also, I appreciate the brushes as this made my bird pics amazing.

      Oh perfect. I often go back to images I shot even years ago, to see if new technology can improve them. Usually that is case. Enjoy your project and thanks for watching.

    Thanks for showing how to use a brush. Love wildlife photography. Love taking birds in flight. I use Lightroom Classic also with Topaz program. What are your thought on Topaz. Love the idea on custom Brushes. I am using a D500.

    seems so much easierand faster and more precise to make
    the masks manually each time rather than sorting through a huge list of preset brushes…

    Create video. I have learned a lot. I see you use brushes for almost everything. Do you ever use an object mask to make general changes (e.g. Exposure, contrast, texture, clarity) to the complete object? If not, why not?

    • @tv510
      @tv510  Před 4 měsíci

      Yes, I use Select Subject and other masks for different tasks. For instance, in this video, I show how I use Select subject to mask the entire bird. I use Sky and Object select as well. However, when I want precision, and speed - I just grab the appropriate brush. When I don't have such a brush, I simply make a new one and save it to my list of other brushes. Thanks for watching.

    interesting workflow. I rarely crop in Lightroom, preferring to leave that until later in Photoshop. I typically denoise as my very first step in Lightroom. edit: I tend to make masking adjustments for highlights/shadows etc in Photoshop rather than Lightroom (example, lightening the eye/iris). For sharpening, try holding down the alt key when moving the sharpness slider - it'll help you define which edges get sharpened. Also, imho, and this is something that I learned from Jan Wegener, getting your WB right seems to help make the image look sharper (I put it down to it enhancing the micro contrast on the edges).

    • @tv510
      @tv510  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Thanks for sharing Dave. I do my sharpening in Photoshop but I will expand to show EXACTLY how I sharpen in LRC one day. I don't do DeNoise until the end. I think that possibly a crop or heavy processing might change the noise visibility. So I wait to do it last.

    • @davepastern
      @davepastern Před 4 měsíci

      @@tv510 processing the image adds noise to the already existing noise...you are far better to do the noise as your first step imho...

    I can't find the preset tool in my Lightroom PC, can you help me find it?

    • @tv510
      @tv510  Před 24 dny

      It is the Brush tool inside the masks dialog. You can also just press "K" on your keyboard when you are in the Develop module and get to them that way.

    How to create own brushes preset for working on eyes ?

    • @tv510
      @tv510  Před 4 měsíci

      I think you can set up anyway you want, either exposure or curves, then save it as a preset brush like the video shows.

    I watched your video and got lots of great info, so much that I ordered your brush presets. I have been trying to install for over an hour and nothing works. I tried watching the video on Vimeo but it is very outdated from the current Lightroom Classic. I tried emailing from your website but that doesn't work either. Please advise where I can get some proper instructions on how to install the presets on the latest Lightroom classic. I wouldn't normally ask on one of your video but there doesn't seem to be any other way to contact your.
