As other will probably have already said, you *MUST* research your cauldron for something to clear the wards for the surface run.
He already know bout it, probably a couple video more.
Should hit right bumper when in the cauldron menu, that will help you a lot in your progression

The shades that follow you in the Crossroads like little ducks are the shades you have saved on your runs with the hand game. Or Frinos saved. I have braved plying the hands game a lot just to have as many of these adorable litle thing as I can.
I kinda beg to differ, after 110 hrs, the max "ghost tail" is 6 little fellas.
I have seen people saying they show up based on the number of death defies you end with. I also think there is a cap. Would be crazy if you could have a whole chain of them like Snake.
Pally please go to the cauldron and unlock the surface. You have been able to do this for ages, just need to look properly.
He has also not used the "Forget-me-not" bookmark function they added for people who keep forgetting what resources they want to gather
Hades is Mel’s Father, Persephone is Mel’s Mother
If you dig a bit deeper the family tree branches start to… intertwine a bit…
Demeter is Persephone’s Mother and Hades’ sister
So Chronos is both Mel’s Grandfather and Great-Grandfather
The rest of the family tree looks similar and I don’t feel like typing a paper on my phone so… very easy to find online though thanks to time (no pun intended) some of the exact history is lost to us (not to mention mythology issues making it difficult to tell truth from fiction but I digress)
They actually changed it in Hades' lore. Demeter and a few of the other goddesses (Hera and Hestia iirc) are the children of a different titan. So less incest. (i mean they're still all descendants of chaos, but like. That's like saying all humans are descended from a common ancestor.)
@@ninjafish6185 It also gets more complex because Greek religion was around for a long time, even through the Roman times, and the relationships and the perception of Gods changed drastically. Certain Greek writers of the time say certain Gods are related to this God or Goddess, and other writers give different family ties.

Pally if you would have taken that launching whirlwind hammer you would have been able to trigger your Poseidon blitz damage in 2 hits instead of three and your base and would obviously gone up allot as well. Your dps would have skyrocketed. It also pairs amazingly well with your current hammer send it and reposition.

You don't get another Bath Salts from Hecate, that's what you're supposed to give her as her next gift. The journal states what each person wants or is interested in underneath artwork on the journal page
A tip since you're sometimes getting hit by Chronos' ranged attack shaped like a circle - its easier to dodge it by dashing closer to Chronos than further away
Thanks for this series. It inspired me to visit the first Hades game. I've died over 40 times, but I'm still having a ball! What a series, thanks again
Not that anyone cares.
But I love Chronos' comment about howbhe hadn't "eaten" Hades' family, because in the mythos, he literally ate all five of his children -six if you count the rock he thought was Zeus- to stop them from overturning him.
Also, I only made that connection a few episodes ago, but Oh My God! Chronos' weapon is a Scythe!
I thought it was weird at first since scythes are often associated with death, not time but no. This is actually very clever as in the mythos, Chronos used a sickle -which is basically a small scythe- to castrate HIS father Uranus and defeat him.

Chronos ate his children because of a prophecy that said that his son would kill him. His youngest child (Zeus) then ended up killing him. That's why his voice changed in the "eaten them" part

are you not able to unlock the last weapin yet? I want to know what it is so bad, but i want the pally experience. so I have avoided spoilers for what is is.
Not in the current version sadly. I've got 60 hours and many, many wins. At present I'm just farming nightmare to level up aspects.. I don't even know what I'd want to see for the hidden weapon
If your talking about the skull weapon he needs the bronze for. Yes he can unlock it he just needs to focus a bit more on upgrading the cauldron to be able to use the other path before the run starts

at 17min right now and im calling it, this is the run again like atm idk how you mess this up you have basically the perfect endgame build here. does suck about the timeslow not working on chronos. guess that means it's time to re-organize cards and focus on endgame, when it comes to cards that is.
ik why you messed up at the end there, you NEED to stop focusing adds on chronos' final phase, it literally is not worth it. it's actually a distraction lol, you have the damage.
i mean yes you clear the hourglasses only when they start to become to much but the first wave of adds just ignore and burn chronos asp.

My sympathy for Chronos grows slightly.
There's little reason to really believe him.
He's stopping the greek god bullshittery for his own... also it kinda sounds like he just kicked the shades out to wander the earth aimlessly (and like poor Cerby, some ended up in the Fields of mourning to become overwhelmed by grief and hatred so not really an improvement)
