The torches are more of a "To whom it may concern weapon" but definitely an adjustment weapon to get used to for sure.
The hestia Boon which makes the fire Explode on 300 stacks is amazing. You had a lot of Unused stacks in the Chronos and Puppy fights
Torches can be really good now. But as we learned a percent damage or good Poseidon on the attack is the way to go. Also Demeter special, pretty great.

BTW, the trajectory of that special is why I never understood people who liked Hammerdin in Diablo 2 :D :D :D
To be fair, he normally does all the talking before going into the training room. I believe he intended to just show the other pathway then go back but was in the habit of only being in that room when he's ready for a run. Essentially, I think autopilot took over.

I have found Aphrodite or Hera on special and any number of boons for attack are good.
Get good mana regen and spam the omega special. Melee goons couldn't even get near me. Your attack becomes support for the special. It felt super strong, give it a shot!
@mfpallytime I generally find the Torch special to be a great room clearer and the attack to be a spammer. The main thing is that chaos and Hermes work great with it, as both can reduce omega channel time and get that sweet spam going faster. I think Zeus and poseiden are good on the attack and favor heph as the special, as he can clear things easily and the special is kinduve a reply all button.
Also, don't know if it is still in there, but the quick charge "rise up and fall" moon howl boon has an epic path that let's you activate it twice, a rare that does damage both rising and falling, and an epic that activates your sprint ability whenever you deal damage. There's also a rare that makes you briefly impervious.
If you have Hephaestus sprint *it activates every time for hundreds of damage* with the fully upgraded hex.
The hex costs like 30 mana to charge. With these upgrades it can do 2000-3000 damage in complete safety to everything in an area as fast as you can burn mana. I killed chronos with it while taking zero damage and in complete dumb brain rot mode. Omega cast, hex, hex, oh he's on next phase, wait out invuln, repeat.
I'm saying this because even mediocre boons are situationally good. Heck, hestias sprint completely trivializes an entire area later. Very few are actively bad.
For this weapon pairs well with a range spell build.
Imagine that chronos fight but the hex removing all his projectiles...
from what I have seen of other use that weapon. its all bout spamming omega special.
I'm looking forward to you unlocking the other weapon aspects! One of the torch aspects is really good!

Pally, I think the Hephaestus boon that gives you armour and makes you immune to knock backs might also make you immune to the big suck.

When you get summoned into that fire room and you dont care about the reward you are going to get you can just stand on the dock in the bottom right of the stage until the % goes to 0 to auto lose the fight.
Does pally know he can continue to use omega special with this weapon? To have more orbs rotate and whatnot?

He should be able to get it soon, he's close to unlocking the upper path
He needs to unlock the upper path - hopefully he will do that on next episode, chat should remind him.
Chat doesn't need to remind him. If you've been paying attention, yellow exclamation marks with spikes Pally will definitely interact with.

its amazing how many times you took damage from trying to cast the hex and then tried it again after that
The omega special with grandma to cc them since the specials for the wand can't stun. Is very strong.
Demeter also allows you to get 2 curses with just her boons, letting you get the damage buff from the arcana card really easily!

@@deafdanny6299 The Cyclone that you can get from the boons Frigid Sprint and Gale Force has a 20% slow on enemies within it that counts as a curse!
The Cyclone also slows ranged shots within it by 60% and deals damage 4 times a second, so it adds a lot of safety and chip damage on top of enabling an easy second curse
Oof, looks like they nerfed this in Patch 3 of Early Access. Now you need 2 curses from different gods

I think you were getting a bit too committed to a singular attack strategy there at the end, particularly to using the Hex which… well, you had him aside from when you used that. I think you might have won if you’d taken another death defy.
That Hex is good for *getting* you to that fight undamaged, the Healing hex is much better for surviving Chronos!

This is my goodbye message. It saddens me to write this, but it's for a good cause. I have spent countless hours watching your videos with much joy. Your content, combined with your personality, hooked me instantly, and I believe you are an amazing content creator. I relied on your videos when I was feeling down, and you were always there to cheer me up.
But I must say goodbye. As someone with an addictive behavior, I need to eliminate video games from my life. I can't just play one session or watch just one video. It takes over me and makes me neglect all my duties. When I’m supposed to focus on work, games pop up in my head. When I need to relax, the urge to play appears. Playing or watching videos uses up more energy than I thought and leaves me tired and just wanting more. It’s not logical, it’s just addiction.
