    Great video. Giving up caffeine was the hardest thing I had ever done (and I have done some hard stuff and gone through hard things). Things started to get really good after 6 months. Before that had real bad depression/anxiety I had never had before. Now after 7 months feels like I’m 95% recovered. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

    I've quit in June and every month I've felt like I gotten through it but the anxiety always comes back. Now at 6 months in I'm having the toughest time due to anxiety which I guess is because of the intrusive thoughts and constant reading through articles. There are good moments and then there are moments I don't feel present enough to enjoy my day. Most difficult period of my life and I'm only 25 YO and I've never had anxiety or depression or intrusive thoughts before. I've only recently quit chocolate bars, I keep telling myself it could be the reason why the anxiety came back hard. If anyone is struggling through this or is just kind enough to share their story of recovery, please reply to this comment so we can connect, I'd honestly appreciate it. I'd also gladly pay you for your time, I just need some reassurance.

      Hey klutch….. first let me say that’s it’s 100% the chocolate. So I hope you’ve tapered off of that .. also vitamin waters, certain gums, certain teas and so on… just be careful and read labels… even do your research and if you can’t find something definitive don’t take it stay away from stimulants of any kind.. Drink water sleep and walk.. surround yourself with positivity… you’ll be better soon…

    I'm coming up on 11 months, quit cold turkey. And I gave up all refined sugars like candy and ice cream around the same time, except I tapered off sugar which I wish I did with caffeine. I've just started to drink Holy Basil tea in the evenings and it is calming. Give it a try if your further along in recovery and the anxiety has started to fade a bit. I've read up on adrenal dysfunction which is a big part of caffeine withdrawals, and it takes time for the adrenal system to recover, many months time. For everyone fighting this just be patient with your body, the healing process, and yourself.

    • @richardwrynn824
      @richardwrynn824 Před 2 lety +1

      @@LrgPicture doing much better anxiety has decreased to the point where it's mostly just annoying and isn't intense or lasts as long. Psychologically I reached a point where I realize I will make it through this and it wasn't going to kill me. I do have to watch sugar intake I realized that I was slowly buying sweets again, a donut here or a cinnamon bun there and then this past week a half gallon of ice cream. I was looking for a dopamine buzz from sugar, and was falling into the same trap. Coffee and sugar combined trigger surges in dopamine, and I was addicted to both. Also been taking chelated magnesium which is calming, and 2grams of vitamin c daily. Going through withdrawals the body burns through vitamin c so you need more of it.

      J C I’m going to be honest, it took a while. What I will tell you is that everyone’s experience is different, but the end result is the same - you come back. Slowly but surely. Just know you are going to be in for a rollercoaster ride. When you’re at the top, you’re gonna come down. And when you’re down, just know you’re going to come up. Sometimes the rise and drops are large or small. It’ll all happen until the ride is over and you can get off

I would have small waves of weirdness here and there, but overall great.... BUT today, tiredness, dizziness, blurry vision, a little anxiety. Just feel off. It's the worst I've felt in a month.
