David Gilmour is my favorite guitarist. I was fortunate to see him in concert on his solo tour in 2016. He was 70 years old that year and still sounded amazing! As for future Pink Floyd reactions, I suggest checking out 'Sorrow', also from the Pulse concert.

I just cry every time I listen to this song. This guitar solo is historical! That was phenomenal and so emotional, that was just splendid and extremely powerful! But guess what? I was there that specific day, I was really young. After the concert, we were walking in silence, thinking about this phenomenal concert, looking at the stage sometimes just to remember this moment forever before we leave for good. I also remember the smell of joints, especially in front of the stage (yes, that was, of course, forbidden, but ... Pink Floyd is Pink Floyd, right? Some people couldn't resist!). Now, when I listen to this guitar solo, I always remember that the sound was everywhere around us: spectacular, massive, imposing, powerful, but also perfectly clean! It was so impressive and so imposing. Like: the massive, colossal, powerful, and majestic Pink Floyd machine directly connected to your soul! And I can tell you that we were all vibrating.
90% of the time, during a concert, people are talking, laughing, and having good times; but during this concert, everybody was literally speechless. No stupid or annoying people. Everybody was just "connected". It was like, being in a parallel universe where everything was completely different. That was phenomenal and special, almost "magic" so to speak. And so many people were there, something like 16,300 people. I kept the tickets by the way, hehe - And today, I'm still proud to say _"I WAS THERE, WITH PINK FLOYD THAT DAY!"_

The Wall was a sign that Prog Rock had had its day but Comfortably Numb is still one of my favourites as it expresses so much in words and music. Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb; This is a story of a band member that is having a nervous breakdown and although he has made it very big in the music industry and is comfortably numb but emotionally bankrupt. The knock on the door and the words "it's time to go" are from the people trying to get him to the show. A doctor is called hence "there will be a little pinprick "there will be no more AHAHAH" his hands felt like 2 ballons is the result of the drug and emotional state of the band member. A very good view is Pink Floyd the Wall it's a video that encompasses a 2 cd audio disc CD that has all this music and story a great afternoon of entertainment.
Like most Pink Floyd it's meant to be viewed/listened to as a complete story ie The Video The Wall is a 2 cd set all music has a part in the story. Comfortably Numb is from the Wall CD.

I love how much you enjoyed the amazing Pink Floyd. Your face says it all really. I was at this concert, at Wembley arena and was blown away by the sound, lights and atmosphere. And it's great for me to watch someone like you enjoying and appreciating the talent. I can tell by your reaction that you have a lovely soul x

Saw this in Vancouver in '94... was sitting next to the soundboard.
And then the mirrorball opened right above me.
I've seen and or worked at over 600 concerts, but this is in my Top 5 of all time.

The advantage of having seen this live show on location, is that the entire scenic aspect of the lighting, which is not always visible in this video, was perfectly synchronized with the music and vocals. Even without drugs, this show was just mind blowing.

Delightful, I am 43 and thus probably old enough to be your dad, but they are my dad's fave band - he's nearly 70 so as a kid had to hear him playing it constantly - so eventually it became one of my faves - lovely reaction, much love from Wales. x

To truly understand this song, you need to listen to the whole album or watch the movie 'The Wall'. It's dealing with the torment and mental illness aspect of life and what can cause it. A very deep creation. When music can touch your heart, as it did with you, that's a sign you are 'getting it' and, in my opinion, that's always a good thing! ;-). P.S. Thank you for NOT pausing during the solo.

Great Reaction girl, you know good music when you hear it! And great performances see them too. A couple other superb Pink Floyd performances from their Pulse Concert series,..."Sorrow' and 'High Hopes',.... actually they are just two, there are many more from that Show.
Pink Floyd is a legendary band formed in London in 1965, they have sold over 450 million albums world wide, that's the most albums sold by any Rock band in history,... except only for The Beatles who have over 600 million sold!
