Lidle sell 2 frozen steak bakes with 29% beef for around £1.40 and they are very similar to the Greggs ones

Good review, the Iceland mince and onion slice is their weakest slice - their Vegetable balti slice is delicious and is terrific value, you should grab some !

Thanks for taking the time to add this comment. The Minced Beef and Onion slice was just plain and can see it as you've stated as the weakest slice. We have not tried the others yet but based on your recommendations we shall have to try them. Thanks for adding great input for us. Wishing you a nice week ahead, Shane and Lisa :)

The Greggs bake looked more like 29% gloop rahter than the supposed 29% beef that its supposed to have. Icelands was only 7% beef but it actually looked like it had more. Although it was more like mince than anything. I have had these and quite enjoyed them for a cheapy and i dont know why they call them new when they have done these for years. Maybe its the less meat content now. Also with the greggs "may contain egg" its either does contain egg or does not contain egg.
But either way they make a quick dinner especially in this hot weather
Have a great day as i know im not under that car lol.

It did look like 29% gravy with a lucky chunk or two. Agree with you the Iceland's finest did look to have more content despite only being listed as 7%.
The new labelling is something we have seen previous #newbutnotnew
Eat and run it is a time saver. Sometimes the queues at the counter can take longer to get through that eating the item so cooking at home is a time saver.
Feel your pain, car repairs on bank holiday. Where has the sunshine gone?
Wishing you progress on the car, Shane and Lisa xx

@@ShaneAndLisa Just found out a part that attaches to the rocker cover and joins the camshaft is broken and leaks oil so got to find a replacement.
