- Today I'm testing out the Presto Stuffler by request. I paid $50 for this on Amazon, where it usually runs about $50-$70. Although this review is positive, this is NOT a sponsored video.

Looks like it does exactly as it should, with clear and easy to understand instructions. Have I traveled to an alternate reality? Just so rare to see nowadays.
Old school care in a new school product.
Instructions: Be a sucker who wastes cash on pointless gadgets when you could just do this in any skillet, or make an omelette, or make a calzone...
@@grabble7605 How many gadgets are in your house? None? People like to play with new things. Get over it. I agree there are some things that are pointless. But, there are some things that make it a little bit more fun, or a little bit easier.
@@grabble7605I mean making waffles without a waffle iron isn't even worth it at all. This is a pretty cool thing if you eat waffles fairly regularly
@@grabble7605 How am I gonna make a waffle in a skillet? bffr
Very rare an item works flawlessly for the get go. I'm absolutely going to pick this up.

Enjoy your fatty waffles. Just gotta watch that cholesterol
@@More_Row you must be fun at parties
@@lnu2372 Super fun, i'm very nimble and moving around super quick, but I think it might be because I hardly eat stuffed waffles.

A "Will it waffle" challenge would ensue in my house. Every leftover in the fridge would be game. Pretty sure I need this waffle maker... to add to my collection.
If you have leftover waffles, you could make a waffle-stuffed waffle!
you have gmm to take care of it foryou
I can already see a leftover pizza waffle between leftover burger buns situation. This thing is not safe around anyone who has snack cravings at midnight.
Now that sounds like a CZcams channel
I don't even have a waffle maker yet, this could be my first one lol
Bailey: "Where's my kibble waffle?"
Nah. Bailey demands pepperoni and cheese!
@@andrewquint7962 The cheese tax
Me: "I have 5 ... FIVE ... different waffle makers. I do *not* need another one."
Also me: "I need this waffle maker."
Kind of like cats. Seems like they just come out of nowhere 🤣
I need it ❤”SpongeBob”
I have 3 waffle irons. One is a snowflake and one is Sylvester and tweetybird and one is actually a pizzelle waffle machine (which is our favorite. We make sweet and savory crunchy cookie type waffles with this thing 😊)
So this one is completely different. I say you need this one too 😊@@Emeraldwitch30
I love how we are all the same😩😭😭😭 Sometimes I wish I could be neighbors with fellow commenters🤷♀️🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
I would put fruit inside of the waffle my homegrown blueberries would be yummy❤️
Some of the smaller berries would work, but you might need to process them a bit first. I might also try something like fruit butters inside it.
Blueberries and cream cheese
Why can’t we be neighbors in real life🙁 I need neighbors that are like me🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🫶🏻
I would slice some strawberries, caramelize them in the pan a little, then add them in.
That would make blue waffle ! It would be incredible !
I think Jiffy cornbread mix would be good in this as well!
@@breeda9196 ooooooooo! memorized!
@@breeda9196 Glad you didn't give it to thousands of Freakin' Reviews subscribers. 😂😂
@@breeda9196 I copied it, so you can take it down now 😁
I would add some leftover chili inside that thing. I DON"T NEED IT. I DON'T NEED IT.
Yes, it is. Jiffy cornbread mix with sliced hotdogs were a hit with the whole family.
I have one of these and love it. You can make some really interesting stuffed waffles. My favorite ones are using apple filling or cherry filling as the waffle filling. It makes for a really nice dessert, especially if you top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Ohhhh.... There goes my diet!!
Have you tried it with a runny biscuit mix for doing the pizza one?
@@CraftEccentricity I haven't! But that's a great idea! I wanna try it!
I think this is the first waffle maker you've reviewed where everything worked first time, no need to adjust times or batter quantity, very impressive.
i dunno - waffles looked a little burnt - perhaps set it around 7 - 7.5 minutes
@@jonniiinferno9098yeah, crust looked pretty thick
@@woodstream6137Yeah. Maybe not quite 1/3 cup. This product looks amazing. I might have to buy one.
I bought this for my daughter a couple of Christmases ago...she absolutely loved it. I can't recommend it enough. Every single waffle came out excellent.
at 2:30 "The timer went off" See a Golden Retriever face . 🤣
The filling ideas are literally endless with this thing. I also like someone thought to put ridges on the tongs to keep it from sliding out :D
I've never had any trouble with my Stuffler. We've tried a variety of sweet and savory recipes and they've all come out great.
8-minute waffles look bit over-cooked - have you left cooking time at 8 minutes - or tried reducing cooking time to around 7-7.5 minutes ?
This waffle maker looks awesome! Thanks for the idea for chicken and waffles for breakfast this morning!
The fact that it worked well from the first use was a good sign. And I hope you enjoyed your breakfast!
@@Freakinreviews what was clean up like?
Huh. A well thought up, properly engineered product that is easy to use and provides consistent results of high quality?
That's just plain incredible. And there seemed to have been no mess, no spills and minimal cleaning required by the end too.
It's James-proof! He didn't over-fill! 😂 (Love your reviews.)
This is like the best of breakfast possibilities-hand held for on the go and easy to customize. This is fabulous.
That things makes some chonky waffles, I like it.
As someone who makes pizza waffles often, I recommend adding Italian seasoning to the batter for those ones. I would love to have one of these, and glad to see it works so easily.
I was intrigued by how they were going to implement the "STUFFING" aspect, and it was the most logical way, I was thinking some annoying injection thing like a Bavarian (you know it's a sad day when you spell Bavarian wrong, when your last name literally is the German word for Bavaria, oh well...) donut. This looked sketchy, but seems to be well-thought-out. ONLY thing I would change with it, a locking ring of some sort so you can flip it more confidently. Edit: I mean a locking ring for the handle to hold all three pieces together.
I love mine. I make a sweet one with cream cheese and berries. I also do savory ones with bacon or sausage, eggs and cheese. Add cornbread flavor to the batter and stuff with hot dogs. Add ranch seasoning to the batter and stuff with chicken, bacon and cheese. So many combinations to try.
ive had my stuffler for a couple of years now and love it. my most common waffle i make is a blueberry cream cheese stuffed waffle. delicious
Use thick potato mash and fish for a fish 'n chips waffle! P.S.: In the Netherlands this thing costs 137 Euros ($148) !!!
I'm American living London i don't even want to know what this waffle maker would be in £! And shipping and if it has a duty tax. Oy! 😮
@@missgeishascarlet About £117! Insane import fees I guess. 😣
Man, you foreigners sure get screwed on pricing when it comes to electronics and cars (yes I'm classifying this under electronics)
@@hectorg5809it’s expensive because it’s imported - we have brands that would be equally as expensive for someone in America to buy from overseas.
@@kitm141 It's imported for us too. Like almost everything, this product is made in China
I’m impressed that it doesn’t need oil. They didn’t stick at all!
Non stick surface plus there is oil in the waffle mix.
@@thethpian Isn’t non stick items have forever chemicals in them along with waterproof items as well?
@@Yah-Izoa-HakabothTeflon is very slow to react with everything. The only way it goes funky is at higher temperatures. Even Aqua regia doesn't do anything to it. So I don't understand what the human body is supposed to do to it that could harm you.
If you revisit this one, try Dessert waffles. Strawberries & cream, chocolate stuffed etc. Curious how those would Work!
This looks damn near flawless. Maybe I’ll pick it up. I do LOVE Belgian style waffles and stuffing them with whatever I want makes it super enticing!
Hmm. Do we have a candidate for the end of the year’s Top 10 list?
I am blown away how those turned out your first time using it. They look exactly like the images and it didn't take tinkering with recipes or cook times or anything to make it work or turn out right. Pretty impressive. Might need to look into getting one of these.
I'm glad you removed the "Coming Up..." section at the beginning. It took the fun away from your reactions.
love bailey's head barely visible under the counter XD
I was waiting for you to do a milk chocolate chips and strawberries or some other fruit waffle. The pizza one looks outstanding!
Your camera is amazing! Felt like you were right in front of me! Also the waffles look good. I'm usually not a gimmick product person, but this one looks great. Thanks for your review!!
I own one. When I tried it the waffles came out a tad bit raw or all the innards off to one side. However, we tried them with sweet things like strawberries, cherries, and such. I would like to see you try the sweeter side of waffles not savory. I look forward to seeing this.
I agree. I was expecting some sweet breakfast items instead of the eggs. I wonder what would happen if you added raw egg instead of scrambled. It just doesn't make sense to me if I have to cook the whole meal before I add it to the waffle!!
@Sarafimm2 you'd probably lose most the egg because liquid and liquid.
Plus, things cooked inside of things take longer, don't often cook at the samerates. 7-8min, you're burning your waffle by the time an egg would be cooked.
It won’t cook anything inside, eggs and raw meats have to be cooked 1st. But imho it’s worth it. I made one with a fried egg, bacon, cheese and some country gravy and it was amazing.
I do not have this product however I do have the power XL stuffed waffle maker in the 5-inch size and the 7-inch size and they are amazing. They're much smaller than this item that you're reviewing as far as the size of the machine. But the divot in the middle of the waffle maker is amazing because it's deep and it's made in a way that you can not have the waffle batter flow out the sides. I make chicken and waffles with hot honey, I make corn dogs with cornbread batter and beef hot dogs, I've made apple pies and other pies, I've even made pizza using pizza dough on the top and the bottom and it came out amazing.
"pizza using pizza dough on the top and the bottom"
so basically a calzone 🤔that's pretty lit
@@Kangri1618 Yea, I guess that's about right. Except it looks like a fat waffle.
I have no idea, personally, of WHAT I'd want to stuff a waffle with...no honestly I'm just here for the waffles with syrup.
Dude put honey on a waffle. Say what
I saw the Stuffer somewhere and thought about getting one. Now that it has your approval I am definitely going to buy it. Thank you for the great reviews.
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas a couple of years ago. She loves it & it worked great...& she's not exactly what one would call a chef lol. You'll love it.
@Freakinreviews I absolutely enjoyed this. Showing savory options, I love! Thank you for showing different ideas. I will be buying this after all.
I got one of these because of this video and tried it out this morning. It's as great as you said it is. I made them stuffed with Nutella and they were amazing. Every waffle came out perfect.
First item ive seen on your channel in years of watching I actually want to go out and buy. Feels like an easy gift item someone would never ask for but would be happy to recieve.
I'm not sure that I'd enjoy the recipes that you made, but I was thoroughly surprised and impressed at the results that you had. If I didn't own a waffle maker, I'd seriously look into one of those.
That looks like a winner! You should give a pizza waffle a try using a recipe for liquid pizza dough. There are a few recipes for that on the net. I'm curious how that would turn out. But just as it is, using waffle mix, it looks great!
Really surprised it worked so well right out of the gate. And without cooking spray! Thank you for this. Better snag one before the price goes up.❤
I feel bad for Bailey too. She never gets to sample when you cook things.
We ordered it right after watching the video and it arrived this morning. Tested it using Presto's Cinnamon Waffle recipe and added apple pie filling. How well it works and how well it's documented makes it a unicorn in the world of small appliances. Checked the temp when pre-heated and after removing a completed waffle. Same temp. Nice to not need to do a reheat between waffles. Also, Presto has a lot of recipes for it on their website. Thanks for testing this, James. It's a winner!
The end results could be in a legit food ad. They look great.
I have one! Amazing for KETO!
There are many options to choose from when making a sandwich. You can use waffle batter, cake batter, cornbread batter, and so on.
For those who follow a ketogenic diet, there are many delicious options as well. You can make a keto egg and cheese batter and stuff with bacon, eggs, mushrooms, or steak and cheese. Or buffalo chicken or any other sandwich with your desired ingredients.
Very rare that you get a product that works correctly and effortlessly from the get-go; I'm impressed! Great review!👍🏻😁
I want one. I don't often use my normal waffle maker, so I know I may not use this often, but with the easy on the go style of these I think I would use this more often. it reminds me of the pocket sandwich makers, where you use bread, however I think using waffle batter will fit my life style more, I do not always have bread on hand but a box of batter mix, or just the raw ingredients for batter, are things I could keep on hand easy without going bad. bread is just not something we eat often.
I've been wanting a waffle iron and this looks interesting. I don't think I'd honestly use it for stuffed waffles, though, so it may not be the best pick for me. That said, I'm very impressed that it worked flawlessly without you having to try to dial it in too much.
I wonder if these are available in the UK. Perfect for those days when you don't know what to have for a meal. I would think it would also be good with summer fruits too.
I love mine! There is so many things you can make with it, even if you’re on a diet. Its awesome!
A product that actually works. I definitely can see myself making all kinds of waffles what batter do you use Thanks for taking your time to review this product and making great waffles.
I wouldn't be able to use this while watching your show. I have a tendency to burn
food when my favorite show is streaming. Thanks James, and well done. 🤗🥰
chocolate waffles with strawberries and bananas inside.
The company has gotten another purchase because of your review. Thanks as always for another great video!! 👍
Sweet cornbread batter with hot dogs and cheese. Like corndogs.
Did you use the same batter for both ? Sweet and savory? Or different recipies ? Thx
Bailey standing guard, ever vigilant in case something falls on the floor lol.
Pretty great how well this works! It’s pretty rare today.
You can put chili and cheese in it too. Dessert ones also.
Honestly that looks pretty good for messing around with waffle sandwiches. #2 would be my go-to for sure.
Finally, a waffle item I would enjoy! Aside from just a regular waffle maker. So many of them are gimmicky, like having holiday shapes built into them so they're only appropriate for that specific time of the year. Or, the instructions aren't clear or it just doesn't work. I've never thought about stuffing stuff into my waffles but should I change my mind on that, I know what to buy now.
I wonder if you could do a waffle-patterned biscuit in this. Using waffle/pancake batter would probably make it taste sweet and once you add aome eggs and sausage or bacon, you've made a McGriddle, which I don't like. I would want to try to use this to make McMuffins.
I was reading the reviews on Amazon and someone used the red lobster biscuit mix. A lot of people using jiffy corn muffin mix. I ordered one! 😂
I got a stovetop version called the Wondereffle. Use it all the time for biscuits and cornbread. Perfect amount for a couple of people. Dont heat up the house.
Man. I'm a huge fan of them black plates. Never seen black plates or bowls before.. but it looks very nice
wow, I think Presto is going to see a huge uptick in their Stuffler orders after this video. Impressive. Their website shows lots of fruit options, chopped up chocolate bars, yum!
update: I bought this and it's AMAZING, right out of the box it works perfect. it's a game-changer. i've done small diced apples with cinnamon and pecans, and mixed berries. amazing design
I have never in my life wanted a waffle maker…until now. Then I made the mistake of reading some of the comments and OMG my mouth is watering over some of the suggestions!
Wow, that really looks like a winner. I'm going to order one now. It has endless possibilities.
I never knew that stuffed waffles was even a thing, this looks amazing!
I wonder, if you don't use the built in tongs, does it adjust when you close it to make a regular thinner waffle?
No it doesn't. The tongs have to be used.
Well it definitely is super consistent on the deep golden brown of the waffle. The stuffing option makes me wonder if adding crushed graham cracker chocolate and marshmallow would work for a s'mores version.
Love the videos!! Been a subscriber for years!!!
Hello from north las vegas! Watched this on my break at work and ordered it before my break was over lol. Same day shipping, so I'm having waffles tonight for dinner.
For making waffles I have been using my Ninja nutri bullet, it blends it up quick plus I use the drinking lid which has a nice big spout to allow me to pour easily. I've been using it for batters for a while now not sure i can go back.
dude , I love how wholesome and up-beat you are!
That is a large kitchen gadget. How often would the average person use it? I know I don't possess that much storage space in my cabinets or counter.
Looks great wondering about blueberry compote etc.? Also, how was the cleanup?
I miss the kitchen video. Please do more!❤❤❤
Wow, that looked really good. That's one of the few products you've reviewed that I'm curious to buy now.
After watching this video a few days ago, and as good as the waffle maker looks, I couldn’t justify buying it……..it arrives today. Thanks for another great video. Best reviewing channel I have found. Keep up the great work! 😊
Was waiting for the review for one of these for so long! I wanted to buy one but was unsure about its results.
I have never heard of a stuffed waffle. My mind is blown.
Watch your channel regularly and appreciate your reviews. Have made several purchase decisions based on your reviews. Thank you for all you share.
I have to ask though.... What are you saying in your intro???
Welcome back everything? I'm so confused.... I've played back several videos many times and no dice. What are you saying??? It's driving me nuts😵💫
Welcome back everybody, today I'm testing....... He just says it super fast. At least that's what I heard. I didn't notice it until you commented, lol.
The old school kitchen has returned!
I’ve been doing this for years with my regular waffle maker but this makes it so much better. I’ll definitely get this when my current maker blows up.
whats so scary is that I do the same thing with my waffle iron.. OMG.. I use the SAME red measuring cups that you have as a scooper to pour the batter into the iron to cook. 😩 I LOVE IT.. and my waffle's come out just like yours, so fluffy and soooo delicious. ❤
great review! i wish you would have mentioned clean up/washing. that can be a buy it or not moment.
Wipe it down with a paper towel. I’ve made about a dozen different things in mine. Nothing has stuck at all.
Your batter will affect this, but as long as you put some oil or butter in it you’ll be fine.
This is like the first waffle maker you've reviewed where the measuring instructions and your batter matched up exactly perfect the first try!
I gotta admit that went far better than I expected, COOL!
Finally!!! A human reviewing this thing and not an AI narrating over a commercial!
Thank you!
Not just for breakfast is totally true. I've been using cornbread batter, today I put in some black beans (fiesta style) and cheese. Earlier I used Bisquick, with sausage gravy on the inside. This thing is totally fun!
I just watched this and I just ordered it 😂 my toddler LOVES waffles and if I can make different types for him to try out I’m sold, and for my husband and myself too!
It looks like the waffle material itself is well cooked or even over-cooked in order for the filling to fully cook or melt to center. Seems like they designed it this way, but the downside is the waffle is very dry or stiff/crunchy throughout except for the filling center.
Wait... a product that works exactly as designed the very 1st time right out of the box? Hmm, might have to buy one and see for myself.
I actually really need to get one of those. The possibilities are endless. As always thanks for sharing 😊😊
Wonder how well it does with dessert style Ingredients. Can it turn a chocolate bar gooey or do you need to pre-melt it ?
I have a Bella waffle maker that my grandma got for Christmas and it is fantastic. Haven't had 1 problem yet. It definitely makes bigger waffles than these, however not as thick.. I what I like is that there's a light that goes off when it's done (and also there's a heat dial) I suggest putting it on lik 90-95% of heat, maybe even 100%. Only takes like a minute and a half to make a huge waffle.
Great shear TY. Bummer it takes so long. Is that due to it being very low energy requirement ? If so would be great for camping.
This thing is very consistent, but you generally get something between a thick cake and a waffle exterior. Personally, I'm not a fan of the cakiness and would actually recommend putting more stuffing in there than it says. If you can find a circle cookie cutter that's just the right size for the stuffler then you can make better use of the space by pre-planning your add-ins. Even if you mess up, it's pretty easy to clean and the resulting product won't actually be ruined either.
You're the only man I know who actually reads the directions, bravo, well done 😂
Is this product good for plain waffles? Can you make waffles thinner than what is demonstrated?
My wife and i enjoy waffles and I showed her this. If our Belgian waffle maker packs it in one day I am going to push hard for this. Thanks for the video
