Last night at a BBQ, a friend and I were trying to remember how to play this game. We use to play it together all the time 10 or so years ago and neither could remember the name. After looking up a dozen articles on "Two player solitaire," we decided to just make it up as best we could. Today, I wake up out of dead sleep and just said, "Peanuts!" I first found out about this game when I read it in a book (The Ultimate Book of Family Card Games by Oliver Ho). In this book, they refer to this game as Racing Demon and they acknowledge its alternative names as Nertz, Pounce & Grouch. It says that Racing Demon is the oldest of its names. I have to say, Racing Demon sure as hell sounds better than Peanuts. The book has slightly different rules compared to the ones given in this video, but it's almost identical.

what if all players come to a standstill and all the players have gone through there deck like, one hundred times? What happens then?
If all players were stuck, we always opened up a 6th Solitaire column from the Peanuts pile for all players.
