      Top 5 is a stretch for passer. Stockton, Magic, Kidd, Nash, L James, C Paul are high up on the all time list. Hmmm as I'm typing this tho I feel like Rando should be considered a better passer than C Paul becuase Rondos efforts lead to rings. So definitely top ten but not quite top 5 for me.

      He had accolades, but I wouldn't say he had longevity. He played for a long time. Production wasn't going to get him because his stat line isn't impressive. But he didn't produce wins after Boston.
      Rondo's career nosedived after that Dallas situation and he struggled fixing it until winning another ring in LA

However, over the course of his career Lowry averages about 2 more shots per game than Rondo did while simultaneously having a lower field goal percentage, albeit its only a 3.2% difference but in basketball thats actually fairly major. Meaning that Rondo typically took higher quality shots that enabled him to make a higher percent of them. Rondo averaged about 8 assists per game vs Lowrys 6. Lowry has never averaged double digit assists numbers at any time in his career whereas Rondo did it 5 times and got close a few other times. Meaning that he is better at finding the open man regardless of set up. Prime Lowry never had the handles and passing ability as Prime Rondo. Other than 3 point shooting(something Rondo rarely did) and free throws(also wasnt something Rondo did a lot) there are no stats that Lowry has a significant lead in if any lead is there, both players have very similar stats. In terms of Point Guard duties such as ball handling and passing Rondo did them better

      Rajon is the greatest pg to ever play an everybody knows this but don’t wanna say it because of magic being more successful take away success an use pure eye test rajon completely became an elite point guard in a short amount of time around elite players keep in mind he was the floor general for elite players with way more experience than him an he lead them on that floor each time an his basketball iq was off the charts for his age that’s what happens when you get talent to use it he had the talent so the sky was the limit my second favorite is Chris Paul but he didn’t have the talent to do what rajon did an even then the dude still made guys on the hornets look good

Rondo was widely considered the best passer and highest IQ at PG for a while. And he was known to turn it on in the playoffs, no matter if the raps had the #1 seed, no one ever took them serious as a contender cause it was expected of him to come up short when it mattered most and was true besides when Kahwi came and carried them when kahwi was considered the best player or atleast top 1-3 in the league

    Rondo changed the game at point guard, he was so elusive and from my memory created the fake behind the back pass into a layup. One of my favorite moves up there wit J Williams elbow pass. 9 deserves to b in the HoF.

      Rondo wasn’t insane during that 07-08 title run, he played his part and played his part well helping set up the team with good looks. Against the lakers he had a 3 point game, a 4 point game, and a 5 point game: love rondo but I think people just say random stuff. In no world was young rondo the biggest component to that team when you had the defensive player of the year in KG and finals MVP in pierce.

      This comment is retarded. Paul Pierce has a Finals MVP, 10 All-Star selections, 4 All-NBA teams, and is top 20 in scoring all time. Kevin Garnett has a MVP, DPOY award, 15 All-Star selections, 9 All-NBA teams, 12 All-Defensive teams, and is top 25 all time in total points/rebounds/blocks (22nd in points, 10th in rebounds, and 20th in blocks). Those two were locks for the HOF on merit alone. What Rondo accomplished is great but doesn’t even compare to those two even if you halve their accomplishments.
