Rondo might be the only player in NBA history to be loved by both Laker and Celtic fans. Put that man in the HOF
As a Lakers fan, ABSOLUTELY LOVED RONDO! I was so grateful for him during our 2019-2020 championship run.

Rondo best skill is choosing the right bus to ride

Rondo is a definite Hall of Famer in my opinion.
Chris Paul should definitely be in the fall of fame. Yes
@Err1k💕Russ 🤣🤣🤣 no way Chris Paul gets in and Rondo doesn't
I agree
Why?
@@michaelmachupa3854 multi time assist leader, 2 time champ, one of the best passers ever
I say he’s HOF material he was a winner and a key contributor for every team he played for. Top 25 passer of all time too imo
Top 25? Top 5
Top 15 for sure. Maybe 10
Top 10
Top 5 is a stretch for passer. Stockton, Magic, Kidd, Nash, L James, C Paul are high up on the all time list. Hmmm as I'm typing this tho I feel like Rando should be considered a better passer than C Paul becuase Rondos efforts lead to rings. So definitely top ten but not quite top 5 for me.
Soon as he heard Rondo had more Chips than them he quickly changed his answer 😂😂😂
yes. without any fucking hesitation. bro don’t just got accolades, he’s got the longevity too. rondo criminally underrated even by his homies
didnt do shit outside of that celtics team
He had accolades, but I wouldn't say he had longevity. He played for a long time. Production wasn't going to get him because his stat line isn't impressive. But he didn't produce wins after Boston.
Rondo's career nosedived after that Dallas situation and he struggled fixing it until winning another ring in LA
It was a torn acl that took him out of his prime just like d rose but he came back and still had quite an impact for his teams
The fact that these two won’t get a ring without him…
@@KB-qk1iche led the league in as assists the year after DAL
They really disrespected him 😭

How I agree with pp if Billups and Lowry get in then yea what’s disrespectful about that
Not really. He’s a similar tier of player as Billups and Lowry, and there’s nothing wrong w that
You’re disrespecting him by thinking being compared to billups and lowry is disrespectful 😂
Bro he was the reason they even have their rings.
y'all must've forgot he was the facillitator🏀rajon rondo

@@bush5321 same thing, wouldn’t have one without him. I think the lakers wouldn’t have won without him off the bench that year too. He played big minutes
Nah they won their first year together when Rondo was in his 2nd year. He had some moments but was not as important yet. He really broke out the next playoffs in 09 when KG was injured.

There are plenty of pass first guards in the league?

Rondo was WAYYY better in his prime than Kyle Lowry has ever been
This is such revisionist history prime Kyle Lowry destroyed rondo in virtually every analytic he was a better creator because he had actual scoring gravity out of PnR because he could shoot
@@phoenixplayz1581stop it
@@phoenixplayz1581 yes Lowry has shot the ball more during his entire career. However, over the course of his career Lowry averages about 2 more shots per game than Rondo did while simultaneously having a lower field goal percentage, albeit its only a 3.2% difference but in basketball thats actually fairly major. Meaning that Rondo typically took higher quality shots that enabled him to make a higher percent of them. Rondo averaged about 8 assists per game vs Lowrys 6. Lowry has never averaged double digit assists numbers at any time in his career whereas Rondo did it 5 times and got close a few other times. Meaning that he is better at finding the open man regardless of set up. Prime Lowry never had the handles and passing ability as Prime Rondo. Other than 3 point shooting(something Rondo rarely did) and free throws(also wasnt something Rondo did a lot) there are no stats that Lowry has a significant lead in if any lead is there, both players have very similar stats. In terms of Point Guard duties such as ball handling and passing Rondo did them better
@@phoenixplayz1581 bruh there's no way anyone on this planet would take Lowry's career over Rondo's. NO CHANCE!
@@phoenixplayz1581 u did not jus say Lowry a better all time creator than rondo put the drugs down
A joy to watch Rondo play. As smart as anyone who ever played the game.
Rajon is the greatest pg to ever play an everybody knows this but don’t wanna say it because of magic being more successful take away success an use pure eye test rajon completely became an elite point guard in a short amount of time around elite players keep in mind he was the floor general for elite players with way more experience than him an he lead them on that floor each time an his basketball iq was off the charts for his age that’s what happens when you get talent to use it he had the talent so the sky was the limit my second favorite is Chris Paul but he didn’t have the talent to do what rajon did an even then the dude still made guys on the hornets look good
@@Ontiming2023 Sorry, you're completely wrong.
Rondo need ta be on the show asap.
Won a chip with the Celtics and Lakers. Some would say the Lakers wouldn’t had won that year without him. Playoff Rondo IS a thing. He also was playing Player/Coach on the sidelines when not on the floor too. Praise number 9🙌👏
Its easy to say, because its true. He was their best player after AD
@dante darcy bro, stop it . He was 3rd best player.
Forgot he was on the 2020 Lakers.... He probably should but it might not be immediate because of some of his antics.
Naw he was big for the lakers. He played the OG style of PG, it was beautiful
I wouldn’t say he was the reason we won, but I will say, he single handed won at least 3-5 games in the playoffs by himself

Exactly. Thats why its disrespectful to compare him to lowry. How many all defensive teams lowry make? When was he talked about as the best at his position at ANY particular thing? Rondo was widely considered the best passer and highest IQ at PG for a while. And he was known to turn it on in the playoffs, no matter if the raps had the #1 seed, no one ever took them serious as a contender cause it was expected of him to come up short when it mattered most and was true besides when Kahwi came and carried them when kahwi was considered the best player or atleast top 1-3 in the league
Rajon rondo is a Hall of famer 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 he have had some unbelievable moments that's legendary

A a nba fan is say how not. These two wouldn’t have a title without him. He’s a beast on the court and embodies the definition of a POINT GUARD.
They could've easily won without just about any other point guard in the league. Rondo was just a role player and maybe the 4th best player on their championship run. He got better later, but never moved rhe needle like that hence why when he finally became the leader the team went nowhere.
What!?
Much Love Rondo ❤❤ Congrats 👏🎉🎉
The billups disrespect is out of this world
He gets overlooked plenty... I think it's because when people look back at his career, it's not "sexy" - he was solid, dependable, a winner... but wasn't fast, explosive or flashy
Right? Rondo had so much help to look good.
@@briansteiger918 perhaps during his first couple years in the league... but rondo has proven he doesn't need to play next to hall of famers to be a great pg. Celtics aside, he's had a positive impact on all the other rosters he's played with, especially when it came to playoff time
@@jackmehoff2503 you acting like man played a kawhi like game or something, billups was him, in and out cross was deadly and hitting 3’s on the break 1 on 2 or 3. He was on the cover of nba street for a reason, just say you didn’t watch him much

Rondo changed the game at point guard, he was so elusive and from my memory created the fake behind the back pass into a layup. One of my favorite moves up there wit J Williams elbow pass. 9 deserves to b in the HoF.
