DK Customs Transformer EBS. Cleanest solution with a nice catch can. Rerouting the old blow by, not sure Dr... I run the Transformer and it works great. Can you show what your piston tops look like? It would be really interesting. Thanks for sharing 🙏 ride safe 🤙
You then vent the Trans cover using the crankcase chamber to a breather right? You can't vent the crankcase into the crankcase. I used the new 29400448 121 Trans cover. It has a catch can that drains back into the crankcase. The 3/8" hose off of it you then run to a uni up-102 3/8" breather filter on top of the motor.
glad to see its going strong without issue... Ive seen bikes that had been externally vented and the piston tops looked as yours.. so I just left mine alone. Can you burn some of that off cruising at high speeds for about an hour?
@@DrHarley I went to chain also . Trask kit . I’m rolling without 5th gear for now. This winter I plan on swapping trans out with one that’s back cut with proper spacing . This is second time trans went on me . First time Harley replaced everything under warranty. I granaded it . I don’t blame Harley I wheelie the bike every time I take it out and generally ride like a jackass.
Good to hear that bad boy holds up running highway. My two questions would be, hows the gas mileage, like miles per tank and how many times has he been stuck in rush hour traffic just crawling with it. My concern would be this engine grenading in Boston traffic
While on his way back he was stuck in Chicago traffic. Also being in CT on the shore line, traffic is our way of life. As far a fuel mileage. I believe he is getting around 200 miles out of a tank of gas. Maybe 180 when spirited riding.
🛑🛑 15,000 miles??🤷♂️ The motor is doing what it was supposed to do. 😀👍💯 If it were me, “if it ain’t broken; don’t fix it”. 💯 I wouldn’t touch a thing. The bike is obviously running without issue, and performing well. Leave It Alone. 💯👍

Yes I can do that, show the top of my pistons on spaceball. Great suggestion.

I just vent it to the top of the tans cover. However, I do have the dip stick vented as well.

Thanks. I will be doing a video of my 131 showing the same thing this Sunday.
I missed the live sorry. Enjoyed watching the aftermath.
Awesome. I am glad that you enjoyed it.
I’ve got 40k on my 131 build with zero engine problems. Transmissions and belts are the weak links .
Yes I agree. That's why on my 131 I went to chain drive. As for the transmission, that's still OEM. For now.

@loosewheel75 you also might want to look into the cryro treatment. That's offered through of performance in Ormand Beach Florida.
Absolutely. I know them quite well.
What year bike? How's the heat at traffic stops?
It's a 2023 Roadglide ST. The heat is a little bit more than the original equipment. But not too terrible.

Cool stuff! Borescopes are awesome
Absolutely, they are. I try and find an excuse to find a reason to break it out.
Found your page again new phone I text you earlier

Good call. If it was mine, I would do something about the oil being sent back into the motor.
