I loved how she didn’t try to be a different wife, hoping to change her marriage, but changing herself to be the person she wasn’t able to be in her first life. Improved herself and didn’t allow the same people to manipulate her.

This KDrama (Marry My Husband) made me believe even more in the power of second chances. Park Min Young's character was presented with the same scenario twice, but in her second chance she became much WISER AND STRONGER with some help from the other supporting characters in the drama. She even learned SELF-DEFENSE. She was given a chance to do things differently and the best thing is she recreated the perfect scenario she wanted. Park Min Young's second chance is a miracle in disguise (both in kdrama and in real life -- remember she had an issue with her scammer ex-BF).
although everyone definitely deserves a second chance but not many of them are willing to take it
Song Ha Yoon, this young lady must get an award bc her acting was awesome. Marry My Husband gets a 10/10 from me it was really good. I did not watch the webtoon but I read comments on MDL.

I binge watched the drama in two days and just before the final episodes were released. Genuinely impressed by how good the acting was, especially Song Ha-Yoon and how fantastic of a villain she was. Some of her scenes genuinely terrified me - like when she threw herself into the lake - and as a villain, the complex nature of Jung Su-Min as a character was truly well written👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Truly an amazing Kdrama.
The drama really has a special place in my heart. I also got out of a very bad relationship last year where I frequently suffered from gastritis due to the amount of stress. I was strong enough to break up with my ex-boyfriend and put an end to his abuse. This kdrama really resonated with me. I am now in a much better place.
This was the first drama that had me hooked within the first 5 minutes.. and laughing like crazy within 10 minutes. Hats off to writers & Park Min Young & Na In Woo 👏👏👏👏👏
I love this drama... it's just too damn good... so unusual yet so awesome... my fav part was how BTS' songs Dynamite and Spring Day makes them realize that they are back in the past from their future.
I loved this series. A lot of viewers' comments are centered around the formulaic nature of K-dramas, but this series was full of twists and turns, and the actors did a fantastic job in this series.

Marry My Husband and Death's Game were the two best dramas this February. One dealing with abuse and adultery, the other about Korea's suicide issues. Both about taking responsibility for one's life and loving one's life because life is precious. MMH really trusted the baddies to be themselves. The heroine was guiltless in her revenge. She simply lay put the bait and allowed the baddies to dig their own graves. Loved that. DG, on the other hand, was about taking responsibility for wrong choices toward oneself. There have been several dramas in the past few years where suicide is shown as wrong. But DG really showed hell in a horrifying way. The value of one's own life is important whether or not one can go back in time. Added bonus DG was so many of our favorite actors turning up to the project. Am not sure if either dramas helped change many minds but I feel that both dramas do make good cases for valuing oneself.
I think this drama is based on the Novel which Webtoon is based on.
I read the webtoon (not the novel) ... I like drama more than webtoon... Because 2 main characters (Ji Hyuk & Ji Won) are more "strong" in drama. Ji Hyuk is more manly with his fighting skill. he showed his power more in the drama. You can see how he could destroy someone if he wants but he never does until he reaches the limit. Ji Won is more independent & learning anything including fight. I love that she never used Ji Hyuk (even he's no problem with that), but they planned everything together. That's whay I love the changes their make to Ji Hyuk real indentity (as time travel) in eps 4, not like in webtoon which almost in the end.
And 2 main antagonists are so good, their acting is the best.
Side notes ... i'm big fan of Na In Woo even before MMH. His acting here is so good, at the beginning some people said he is a miscast, but OMG he owned this character. Like when he cast as On Dal in River Where The Moon Rises. And his chemistry with Park Min Young is so over the top even though they have an 8 year gap, which in character is just 1 year. And he is the youngest among the 4 main leads.
It's my first K Drama and I really enjoyed it... 😊 Now I'm hooked lol

There was another K-Drama, Perfect Marriage Revenge, also based on a Webtoon (rare for a K-drama not to be these days) with a similar premise of going back to redo one’s life - going back 10 years too IIRC. It’s not as well acted but just as salacious. I really liked the lead actress who does a good job. Park Min-young is a good actress but she looks a little too much like a doll, even when she’s crying.
I loved the Webtoon it made me cry so many happy tears.
Finished the show. Okay, can we talk about the writing... the red shoes, the glass table, the heart on the currency, and then on him. All the tie-ins. The supporting actors were also phenomenal. 👏 👏 👏

I love the show💜. I love the characters even the villains. They are really good actors/actresses. I love that Ji Won is not just another damsel in distress and Su Min really get on my nerve (someone please give her an award😊).

My eldest daughter currently having an important exam and I'll rewatch with her after she finish her exam. She enjoys kdrama a lot and I'm sure she'll love this one.

If I had the chance to go back 10 years, I would do so many things differently. I kept thinking this while watching Marry My Husband. I can only learn from my mistakes now and move forward with a better sense of who I am and whom I shouldn't waste my time with. I loved this drama. The cast was great. Loved the chemistry of the main lead actors. I loved Park Min Young's chrmistry in What's wrong with Secretary Kim and didn't think she could have better chemistry than with PSJ, but I was wrong. Her chemistry with this lead actor was great too. The actors that played the antagonists were especially well acted, especially the actress. However, I didn't love the female ex-fiance. I guess she was a kpop star according to Sean? I'm not familiar with her, but I thought she was completely miscast. I did see Perfect Marriage Revenge as well, but this was much better.

The performance of the antagonists couple… made the all drama get that feeling of accomplishment every time the principal characters made their choices …. All the emotions…. I hated the false friends. And the parents of the cheater husband. Good writing conversations, good performances 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I started to watch Korean movies to escape the world I was living in at the time with TRUMP and COVID-19- The farthest the country, the better. Then, I got into Korean, Japanese, and Taiwanese movies. I like Korean Dramas because they have some of them- 1) Great writing, 2) Good realistic characters, 3) Great Filmography (with cute coffee and restaurants ), 4) Great esthetics, 5) stories about writers or writing companies which I love, but most of all, 6) Great acting.
This is my shortlist A)- Chicago Typewriter (great acting and storyline), B)-Hyena (great acting and great dialogues), C)- Tomorrow Chapter 6- A Soul Becomes a Star (story of a war veteran) Amazing! D)- Thirty-nine (great acting), E)- Dear Friends (great acting of mature Korean actresses with my favorite actress Youn yuth- jung, and F)Jirisan (the location, the filmography, acting, and music were excellent- the end was so-so) G) Romance is a bonus book (great dialogues and fashion of all the female characters!).

I love this drama! All the characters were really good, great actors! Love the little sister too, she’s full of joy! Good reviews, while watching I was like agreeing with you and have some A-Ha moments! You pinpointed some of the things that I didn’t noticed, like they touched on a lot of topic from bullying, cooking, adultery, revenge, character, second chances etc. If I could travel back in time to 10 years, I’ll be more wiser and spend time with people that really cares about me. Next time please cover the subject of adoptions that appears a lot in the Kdramas. Personally, because of certain circumstances in my life- my children attended a music art performances school, growing up in the US where numerous Asian kids that were adopted attended too, so I got interested in the subject. There is a well-done documentary K-doc South's Korea Cruel Industry that explains the extent of the situation. Also, one of the sons of Mia Farrow who was adopted from South Korea talks about the complicated relationships of adoptees (CZcams Moses Farrow). Thanks again.

I, like you, question how writers can make dramas different from the others. In this case, the writers came through.

Although, I personally, have no desire in thinking about my past ten years and how I would have changed things. That said, I'm thankful for what I've learnt from those dreadful experiences and I'm moving forward trying not to repeat those bad choices and being so darn naive. I'm truly grateful to God, for getting me safely through and making me stronger and happier because of it. That period of my life has made me a more considerate and humble person and because of that, I don't regret any of it! Only moving forward.❤
This is not a unique drama. Last year I watched Perfect Marriage Revenge, which has the same concept. Marry my Husband is better written, there are interesting characters outside of the main ones, their interactions, again, not just the 2 protagonists, but amongst all of them hook you and of course the chemistry between the 2 main protagonists is off the chart. The friendship that develops, even the evil characters are so well written and acted (not sure about the evil ex fiancée). Perfect Marriage Revenge, was cold, not a lot of chemistry, no hook, the only good thing about it was the evil sister.
Ong this drama kicked ass. Love, love, loved it.

Love this drama. I know I'm focusing on the wrong thing but the whole time I kept wondering who is Jiwon's dad, like is he Jesus's new bff sending everybody back in time and giving them a 2nd chance? LOL
Her best friend who gaslight and emotionally manipulate and mentally abused her, I watched this more for her role, talk about mental health and toxic relationships.

I was not too fond of it, not that great. I simultaneously watched The Perfect Marriage Revenge, a similar storyline but much more interesting, and more relatable. It was not as manipulative, aggressive and scheming as Marry my husband and acting was much much better.
Watching the episodes with free trial period. You have got to kidding? The acting is poor, no emotion from the female actor. BIll continue to watch the Classics! Ruby Ring. The Promise, Jang Bori is here just to name a few. Can't even get pass the 2nd episode. I'll see if it gets better
