Installing Holley's 12.3 Pro Dash for my Turbo LSX - this thing is INSANE!!!

- I finally had all of the parts that I needed to install the Holley 12.3 Pro Dash into the Grand Prix, I was contemplating just making the gauge bezel out of fiberglass and painting it satin black but since I have a lot of left over carbon fiber material from doing the Charger roof skin I decided to wrap it in carbon.

Coming from some one who has spent years in custom fabrication for car audio and security you did a great job as custom dashes aren’t your day job. You have proven again you can do it all. Tip, on the back of the bezel run a strip of felt or fleece along the portion that is going to touch the screen. This will help reduce rattle noise as well as reduce scratching/rubbing as no matter how go you make the fit there is going to be some movement. Really enjoy watching all of the projects over the years.

@@middlegroundproperties374 - Sorry the work I did was 1997 - 2016. Never thought that people would watch so I never really recorded. 2012 - 2016 I started thinking maybe I should but at that point I was transitioning away from the work and did around 1-4 jobs a year. Now I have not done anything custom using fiberglass, body fill and paint/vinyl/carpet since 2016., thanks for asking.
Ive yet to see someone come close to JYD's attention to detail, The cluster is a work of art.
An example of true craftsmanship.
By far the most badass bezel I've seen anyone make for a Holley EFI!

you should wrap the center stack in carbon also so that it matches with the instrument cluster bezel
Excellent work. Watching you custom fabricated that bezel and dash to fit the cluster, impressive. I have 1 suggestion. Perhaps complete the final finish in matte because the glare off of a high gloss is likely to be really bad while driving. I know even some dash cleaning products if leaving a high gloss shine have caused horrible glare and reflection on the windshield while driving, becomes a reap PITA.....
You deserve the best cause you put your heart in every project you do so I hope one day too meet you and tell you in person!

Talk about fitting a square (rectangle) peg in a round (odd shaped) hole, it turned out great. The new gauges look great, it's unfortunate that the dash is so expensive, but I guess that's to be expected with the quality of the product.

Dash bezel turned out great. Wondering if the gloss finish will affect visibility in the sun though? Seems like a matte finish would be easier on the eyes when driving in the sun

you should also change the infotainment area over to tesla style screen so all of you hvac controls and stereo controls would be digital and that would modernize the interior alot

Lot of work came out nice ,but I think it is way way too SHINY with the glare from the lights of the Holly. Maybe tone done the clear on to like matt finish

You NEVER want high gloss on the dashboard it's blinding why do you think the manufacturer never makes glass dashboard pieces.
