I learned my lesson with those high dollar POS aftermarket door panels and the headliner ABS plastic is a pain in the ass.. couldn’t ever get the map light reinstalled because of it and after 2 days of fighting it I had to go back to the factory headliner..
Man I love how you work on mustangs ….very precise and a good level of OCD..that’s how I’m doing my project 1985 factory T-Top coupe that has capri fenders and quarters! It’s a roller but I have to do a full floorpan..perks of a T-Top car🤦🏼♂️ and it’s an original…WHITE fox, the best color right😝 she’s staying the same white too👍🏻👍🏻
I got a set of map pockets from lmr, they sucks, only thing wrong with mine were the elastic.Going to have a local upholster to replace it and reinstall my factory ones.the hold down clips- wings like things are much stronger than the aftermarket ones.
Awesome content Chris, the only thing which lacks or say can be better is video editing/storytelling. Please work on that man and then the big numbers are not too far. Keep growing 🌱.
Aren’t you going to cut off that center piece from the factory cluster? Look how much real estate that is taking up and covering your screen. I tapped into the factory wire that was supposed to feed the cluster for fuel level and tried using a ground underneath for ohms but it intermittently works and has questionable readings with the Holley.
It looks worse in the video than it really is.. I rather have a nice flush look with a layout that works with the real estate than have a gaping hole with a gap between the plastic and the screen.. as for the fuel level did you use the yellow with white trace? That's the one wire you need to use and seems to work fine! Was your sending unit replaced and/or work properly prior to the Holley?
