Hey there, I wanted to point out I misspelled Naoto Fukasawa's name. oops! The correct spelling is Naoto Fukasawa.
Thanks to @OrionSkymaster for pointing it out.
We need more videos from you, they are educational and calming at the same time. All in all - you're awesome Morna!

Oh cool. Thanks, Shane!
Yay! Another Morna video!
Haha... thanks!
great video.
Hi, i am an Architect and i stumbled upon your video while doing my research on interior spaces. And this was so helpful in understanding so many aspects on how to make something last, and not merely become a trend and this careful understanding can very much be applied onto an interior scale too. Thanks so much! Absolutely loved how you decoded the idea of emotion into something so tangible for the views to take away♥
Hi Apurva, thanks for your comment. Yes, this can absolutely be applied to interior architecture. There is other interesting research into metaphor and how we experience the built environment but it belongs more in the domain of embodied cognition. For example, there are studies that show people have bigger more expansive thoughts (ie. they are more creative), when there is more space above their heads. So Higher ceilings = higher amount of creativity. Another one that is related more in the social sphere is if you give a person a warm drink, they will tend to have warm thoughts towards you. I was studying metaphor and design for my masters and find the topic so fascinating.
Nice and fun video, I liked the parts which you talked with your hands! 😄 I hope you continue and make new content again regularly.
Hi Erfan, thanks for letting me know the parts you enjoyed. I was trying something new. :)
This is great!
thanks!

Outstanding video
Glad you liked it
Nice to see your video after a long time
Hi Babu, thanks for watching it!
Coming from a mechanical engineering background, this is like a crash course in product design not bragging her prowess and past works but the principles behind product designing! Mabuhay! (which means "long live")
Your comment makes me laugh.. in a good way. Thanks, Gian! I appreciate it. :)
Hello Morna! Thank you for the video, I enjoy it. I think the emotional aspect is so important when a customer have to choose a product. I just think at a car, we will be more satisfied when we buy that one that emotionally we like more and then after that we think at the technical aspects.
Hi, yes absolutely!
it was amazing
Thank you
I love this video. I’ll probably need to do some design courses.
Glad you liked it. :)
Wow!! I love the examples you used. I hope you will expound on it more in future, I would really love to know more about emotional design. Great content as usual.
Thanks, Mohato! Isn't emotional design a fascinating topic?
@@DesignplusMorna It definitely makes you look at design differently and why certain products evoke a feeling. Awesome topic
Welcome back
Thanks, Joey!
Really interesting video
Thanks Andrew
I wanted to thank you deeply for your videos, after knowing your channel I was inspired to change college, Currently I do visual arts, but I will switch to design, to focus on product design, a theme That I would like to see on your channel is sustainability and how to think about it when idealize a product.
Hi Marcos, you are welcome. It's neat to hear you've decided to switch to ID after studying visual arts because this is similar to my own story. Sure, let me see how I can address sustainability in a video. It's a huge topic.
good one
nice content
Thanks so much 😀
Hey Morna! Getting wild with the editing! Great touch girl, craving for more content (8
Nicholas, I told myself at the beginning of shooting this video I was going to try to make it easy on myself. Like I should start to use stock footage or something. But then I started shooting and this happened! What can I say...... thx for your comment.
@@DesignplusMorna I guess that it shows how much at the end you were enjoying your creative process hahaha see you around!
@@ohnudes Yeah, that is true. Thanks for the reminder.
Could viewers perhaps send there designs to you and then you criticise them in a CZcams video. Where you comment on how well balanced the design is. What does the design lack and what should be improved. I think that would be a really cool way of teaching.
You are great btw. I can’t wait to wake up so I could try what you teach to me. For example repeating your form gives your design harmoni
Long time to see

Hi Disco, thanks for reaching out. Nice to virtually meet you! I'd love to join the discord. Do I need a special link?
Hey there! I would also love to join :)

Hello Morna!!!
Hi Hiro!
@@DesignplusMorna Excellent video as usual~love your brief and beutiful words! Very good for English learner!
@@hirohaya4325 Thanks, Hiro. It makes me happy to hear the video was useful. :)
I believe it's naoto fukusawa not Naota!
Ahhh.. you are correct! Thanks for pointing out my typo. While I was making the video, I circled back to his name (thinking there was something wrong with my spelling) but I think I'd been staring at it for too long. Couldn't see the forest for the trees. :)
