  • We, the UX Designer design products for another human. But when designing a website, application or a mobile app, we often pay more attention to its functionality and interface and ignore the human side of designing. Instead, we should understand that humans are full of feelings, emotions, intuition and memories.
The result that the product gets when it is able to connect with customers’ emotions in a positive way is huge. How can we understand what motivates the users and then create products can influence those motivators, paving the way to competitive advantage and growth.
That’s what designers have to keep in mind aiming at user-friendly products.

Hi Manprit, what font family did you use for the presentation? (If you could kindly share...)
However, great presentation. Look forward to more of that. Take care.

@@ManpritKalsi Oh- the great Helvitica! Such elegant typeface. Massimo Vignelli was a great fan of Helvitica.
Your slides are attractive- well arranged and composed. I'll finish all of the lessons and leave my feedback.

Emotional Design + Behavioral Economics + Black Swan Event= A killer product.
But I often think what works in the Western context, does it work as well in the Eastern context? Contextual variability in many cases is high.
There are reasons why we emote differently to similar events. Also, for high end products, some of the rules don't work- that's the realm of spirituality, I wonder.
