g'day from Australia. heard there's some serious fires on the Texas/Oklahoma border. praying everything is ok! and its such good news that Eleanor could be pregnant again.
It’s now the 2nd largest fire in US history…folks are losing everything. Seeing pictures of homes burned to the ground. Right now it’s devastating the northeastern Texas Panhandle and western Oklahoma.
The trajectory drop must be why the Tuttle rancher pumps 10 times, for more distance pressure, for better aim. Trap and skeet shooting is much the same. The shots curve down more due to the weight of the ordnance as well.
That's rough when you can't be certain of where the dart will fly to. Nice seeing little Princess is doing well. Hope she brings you another healthy calf this year.

Have you checked into growing pumpkins? The seeds has the same compound as ivermectin.
We feed then to our dogs.
We also eat pumpkin seeds.

I put them in salads for me an grind them for the dogs in their food.

Ivermectin ist poisonous für Collie-like dogs and a bunch of other breeds like Border Collie, Langhaarcollie, Bearded Collie, Shetland Sheepdog, Australian Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog, Bobtail, German Shepherd Dog, Berger Blanc Suisse (Weißer Schweizer Schäferhund), Langhaar Whippet, Silken Windhound und Mixes mit Collie-artigen Rassen).Most of these dogs have a mutation of a gene. It is a protein that protects the brain from certain chemicals. Because this gene is missing the chemical (like Ivermectin) can go to the brain and build up there. After some time it can cause blindness, nervous behaviour, desorientation, weakness, becoming unconscious, coma.
I see some people are collecting bison fur shed and selling it to people who use the fiber for yarn. 😁

Dusty I just watched the rest of your video take the two new darts that you have or one I'm not sure but go practice on a wall aim at a certain height from the same distance calculate the drop and then like a military sharpshooter you can rise as much as you need but practice with the darts that you've already used

You would be amazed at who and what a full moon or new moon, affects. Psychiatric, babies and children, and the elderly, are definitely affected by the moon and winds. So why not animals. 😊

Is this the first year the parasite load has been this heavy? I don't remember this being an issue before.
Since you are recovering the expended darts, fill them with water and use them as practice darts to check/sight in the rifle. If the practice darts are extremely inconsistent as to accuracy don't use that brand or move in distance-wise to where you are comfortable with success.

Can u chip a bison, like u do a dog? Like a microchip that would also operate as a tracker? In the event of them ever getting out, theyd be identifiable & who they belong to? Lol just a random thought that i was curious about 😅
My guess is you'd tag the ear like with cattle if you were going to but I've never seen bison 🦬 with ear tags.
Dusty, I'm going to guess that the CLEAR DARTS are heavier than the Pneu-Darts, which would explain why they drop so much more at the short range you're shooting. One good thing may be that it seems pumping up the gun gives you a higher velocity on the dart, which may give the bison a faster shot that would hurt less than a much slower poke with a needle. BAM! Git 'er done!

Dad gum Dusty! I feel frustrated for you. I was cringing the whole time watching the trouble that new dart was giving you. I sure hope you guys find some more of the good darts. I hope that cow will be alright and not have any side affects from that issue. I could tell you weren't happy, and you did a good job holding your cool while I camera. I would have had to pause the camera to have a moment to myself. Keep up the good work.

That dart looks lighter then that other one that could be why it’s not aiming we’re you want it too. If it’s windy it can make it go in different directions because of how light it is.

Those needles inject on impact
Check the weight of the new dart compared to the ones you have been using. Also remember you have 2 cc more in the new darts. More weight will drop quicker thus less accurate. Get real close. Learn to shoot from the driver's seat. They should be more calm with the truck next to them than you on foot. Just my opinion.
I loved seeing the view from where you parked in the video during the beginning. Looking up the hill and seeing the bison on the top reminded me of the movies. Like if you get to the hill and look over them you’d see bison as far as the eye could see. That would have been amazing to witness long ago. I love seeing Princess Eleanor. She’s my favorite female bison. And then there is Big Joe and his homemade hay hats! Love him. He’s a hoot.
