I like the name Christy for 1507 - my daughter Christy passed away in age of 27, in 2018……it would be a great honor to me to have her named after my daughter - she was such an animal whisperer and probably love to move out there to work with you all
: I’ve seen her hold every of livestock on its back in her arms….chickens, goats, lambs, every animal she touched relaxed in her arms - it was phenomenal! Almost a miracle to witness, there was no animal we ever encountered that didn’t react the same….even bees and HUMMINGBIRDS!!! No animal didn’t love and trust her! What a blessing she was to have as my daughter…🙏🏻

I know it isn't funny, but Dunbar is like raising a toddler. An 800 pound toddler. He has more personality than any 2 or 3 of your other Bison. 70.00

Bison turn into a snow storm instead of away, instinctively knowing that going through the storm is the quickest way out. What a lesson.

We all know who likes to push those gates Dunbar! 😂It’s crazy how calm you were Dusty once you knew Big Joe, Dunbar and Hoss were all in the same pasture. I was freaking out a bit and nervous. Thankfully they have already worked out their hierarchy. And of course Big Joe sticking his big ole head in the ATV to try to steal cubes. He’s definitely a character. Still my favorite.

Hi Dusty. Happy holidays to your whole extended family and friends. Love watching you. Can I ask why you don't use a whisle before you give out the cubes? This way, they hear thd whistle and come. You may be able to round them into an area that way.

Just a hack you might try. My Grandad was a farmer/rancher about 25 miles East of Woodward. Whenever he wanted to get a count on one of his herds, he would start honking the horn of the pickup as soon as he entered the pasture. All the cattle would come a runnin’ because they knew they were getting cubes. He only had to go hunting if the count was short.
You guys should sell some of the sunset and sunrise pictures - that last pic of the buffalo was breath taking and I would so purchase one of those

I'm still loving all of your videos with your bison...I suppose you could say I'm amazed how the bison come so close to you and so calm and warm up to you. Also when you get the chance of being in the middle with you spend your time talking to us about how good your horse is doing well. I love everything ❤️ you have done for the bison. Oh and just thing Hoss and Big Joe together not in rut season. Now that was scary.

I have a friend in Michigan that raises beefalo and he has to add copper sulphate to his feed. Because the land up there doesn't have copper sulfate in it.

I remember when Big Joe got into the cypress(?) and you brushed some of it out of his hair. Now i watch all their hairdo styles. That's how i tell them apart. Big Joe with the Fro.
Now that Dunbar and Big Joe have had their battle and know who is boss and who is second banana they should be OK in the same pasture as long as it is one of the bigger ones. Next breeding season they would probably go to battle again, but for now I suspect they would be OK. It is probably still better to keep them apart..
