- Today I want to try and answer a question that I have gotten many times while making these videos. Is Cyrax the next Chris? Possibly, and today we are going to talk about that topic and look at some of their similarities and differences. Hope y’all enjoy💯

Chris Chan is more Chad than Cyrax. Chris Chan stole Sonic and Pikachu, then tried to sell it to Nintendo. He legit wanted to sell it to the very people who made it. That's a sigma move right there.
He didn't steal it, he copied it. it would have been theft if his actions affected Nintendo and Sega's bottom line (like pirated music), in this case it's just petty IP violation that can't be monetized to a scale to justify dragging Chris kicking and screaming in front of a judge.

Cryax does not have the quirkyness to him that Chris Chan does. He just screams like he is in a grudge match with no coherent thoughts. Chris' world is alive and vibrant and batshit.

@@InfinityHS Chris is a 100x smarter than Chance. Chris can drive, he finished high school and went to college, he can spell and punctuate sentences. Chance aged out of high school and never got a GED. He can't do basic math. Seriously, he's floundered on streams when asked what 2+2 is. If you look at his FB posts, video titles, & CZcams about sections, you'll see he's absolutely illiterate. Chance was born at 28wks. though, so it's not surprising Chris is the brainier of the two.
What I think happened is, he was overwhelmed with school and they kept passing him up. As a result, he never learned anything. His grandaunt revealed in a message to William Gloryhole that Chance refused to go to special schools. Normal classes move way too fast for those like Chance who need more time.
Chris Chan is the Elvis of lolcows. There will never be a successor.

Cyrax is a funny guy to laugh at, but I'd say he's more of a "spiritual successor" than anything. It's like the difference between a new indie game that mimics a classic series, and an official release that brings back the classic series. I hope that makes sense.

Chris chan is the dark souls trilogy, fun at the beginning, then he gets hard to watch and then just depressing. Cyraxx is bloodborne, because he’s insane and screaming constantly.

Somehow I think Cyrax is less likely to commit a crime, let alone becoming the nastiest m-f-er in history.

The thing with chris is there are parts of his personality that almost come off as charming and endearing, at the very least until you are intrigued on his life. I couldn't give less of a fuck about Cyrax cause he just seems like a gross human being in and out.
What I find most endearing about Chris, is how well he takes care of his mom
Being unlikable is what makes Cyraxx fun to troll. There's nothing redeemable about him, so you aren't tempted to show him any compassion. It's satisfying to see him screech with impotent rage, knowing that it's all deserved.

one of the things i can see as a clear difference between the two is that Chris, while he could be down to use racial slurs and the such under stress, would never intent to initiate a real life fight, he's learnt to keep his head down and later draw a comic to make up for it; Cyrax i can see suddenly forgetting how much of a twisted twig he is and provoking something he would have no way out.
@@D0NU75 Chance has attempted exactly that before actually. He tried to 1v1 Ed, but caught a mouth full of blood. He also got physical with his ex Heather's friend after learning he encouraged her to leave him. No idea why the guy never sent Chance flying.

Is Cyrax the next Chris Chan? In terms of going to jail I could see it, but no-one can replace CWC. Chris always comes out with weird stuff which is usually new, Cyrax just keeps repeating the same few things again and again which gets a bit boring after a while
Yep, the funniest thing of the whole Cyrax drama wasn't even his doing. It was Marty going to his house to talk to him (as agreed upon, if I recall correctly) and Cyrax hunkering inside like a bitch while asking his grandparents to chase Marty off. But when it's just him on cam, he's just telling the same shit over and over and cussing these same dudes out for various (but recycled) reasons.

@@LoneGuardian Yes, there's a vid here on youtube called Music Biz Marty Shows Up To Cyrax's House Again and you can see it there. The actual visit is about an hour in and Cyrax doesn't appear, but his grandparents do to say Chance doesn't want to come out or something like that.
And it's funny because it's after he'd been telling Marty to come to his house so he could kick his ass in person. Marty wasn't threatening at all when he was there and I think he seriously just wanted to talk to Cyrax face to face, but Cy was scared. lol
it's more along the lines of replacing a series you used to watch under a time slot with a different one trying to sell you the same entertainment value with a different dynamic.

Smokey there was a pretty recent Marty vid where he dug up a few years old Cyraxx vid where he was talking about how music was always his BACK-UP plan, and his original road to glory was, and I swear this is true, was BASEBALL. He was SUPPOSED TO BE A DANG ATHLETE!! In the video he was talking about how if he didn't get an immediate spot in the majors he would be willing to deal with some time in the minors. One of the biggest obstacles for him was that there wasn't any good ballparks in Akron lol.

I will say that Chris has proven quite a few times that he could actually have a calm conversation with people. I still have yet to see Cyrax have a calm conversation back and forth with anyone. I’m pretty sure Marty’s offer probably still stands.

I think the biggest difference is cyrax is more self aware if trolls are messing with him. Say if rax and classic chris swapped trolls, chris's trolls would have a hard time messing with cyrax but rax's trolls would have no problem messing with classic chris

I think what grosses me about the most about Cyrax is that he's been caught trying to talk to minors. I watch too many predator hunters and that stuff grosses me out. I can't appreciate that in a lolcow. Lolcows should be funny and I don't do horrorcows if I can help it.

One trait all lolcows share is that they're usually almost completely if not totally unable to separate out someone who is laughing at them and is making fun of them and a genuine fan or friend. Another trait is when large numbers of people make fun of them, instead of brushing it off or even just going along with it, they either completely close themselves off and/or become extremely or outright violently defensive. Also the vast majority of these lolcows especially Chris Chan are guilty of some form of real world harm and/or bad habits. Like you could ask the question how did Ajit Pai who was for a long time the most hated man on the internet never become a lolcow? he just brushed off and went along with the mocking and trolling as opposed to giving the people what they wanted. I don't know enough about Cyrax to truly make a judgement on him for this but if he's incapable of distinguishing trolls and from genuine people and gives profuse backlash or retreats from his haters instead of facing them or embracing it, he for sure could be a lolcow. Although Chris' antics in the real world really went a long way toward making him the lolcow he is along with his willingness to share personal information, if Cyrax doesn't do that it would be hard to organize trolling around him at the level of Chris'.
They do those things because they're on the spectrum; nearly every lolcow is. What you say about Pai isn't accurate, though. He was praised by people who didn't want the internet to be run the same way the DMV is run, which wasn't a small group.
I think the biggest thing keeping Cyraxx from ever being able to be as big a cow as Chris is that almost all Cyraxx content are small nuggets of transcendent hilarity or depravity tucked away inside videos and streams that are HOURS long. Most of Chris's best stuff is in sub- 10 or even 5 minute videos. Once you get hooked, there are super long email or chat threads you can really sink your teeth into involving Chris but most of it is easy to watch and digest. Cyraxx involves a HUGE buy-in from the very start.
Didn't a troll pretend he was Clyde and threaten Chris that he was going to show up, and it made Chris scare, he poop his bed, cover it up and put a teddy bear over it to make it seem like hes in the bed with poop. Then proceed to go hide at the couch and put all his stuff animal over him?
This match makes me think of one kind-of-similarity between them; I'd hate to have to fight either of them, but for different reasons. Chris would fight all out-of-control, which would hardly be a threat, except that he'd have that regard strength, while with 'Rax, I'd be afraid to hit him because, 1. If my knuckles grazed his...teeth...I'd probably contract some treatment-resistant infection, and 2. one clean hit might accidently break him into pieces.
I just wish cyrax would release any content that is half this interesting or socially revealing as Sonichu.
With Chris forced away from the Internet (potentially for the rest of his life) and Kiwi Farms effectively killed, I think and hope the era of the Lolcow Farmer will and should come to an end.
By all means point and laugh at someone being weird online, but if you're like, assembling posses and scheming in Discords or whatever to goad people into doing weird stuff, you're honestly weirder than them.

It's real crazy how many similar characteristics & traits Cyrax shares with the OG days of Chris Chan, almost being like a modern gen retelling of the "LOLcow Legend" in some wacky way. Even still, While Cyrax has definitely earned his infamous popularity; I must agree with the popular sentiment that there'll most likely never be another Chris Chan. At least not in this current day's culture.
Chris Chan's entire existence was a real one of a kind; a perfect lining of cosmic chance with the just right circumstances that produced the most deplorable human being. From his terrible upbringing, to his slew of psychological disturbances, to even being born around the prime age of the wild-west internet era; It's almost like Chris Chan was destined to become one of the world's biggest laughing stocks of all time.

There's similarities but Chris has more cult following fame and has probably made more money than cyrax has ever. Actually, I'm not sure if cyrax has any work history. Both are predators but Chris is more interesting to watch. The only critique with Chris being in jail is that Chris is isolated from the general population so once again, even though he's behind bars its still a slap on the wrist.

I think the thing that makes Chris just so much more fun than cyraxx is that Chris has an entire world and mythos to explore. Back before the illegal stuff me and friends would make up our own sonichu OC’s and joke about the dimensional merge. Cyraxx is just… disgusting. It’s like too horrible to look away from, which is where the term “horrorcow” comes into play. If Chris hadn’t done that stuff to their mom, Cyraxx would have appeared like far worse of a moral character, and I would have been happy to continue my indulgence in Sonichu lore. Now it just feels tainted.
I'd say Chris is like weed while Cyrax is like strong alcohol. The former makes you wanna laugh uncontrollably, while the latter feels like you wanna get something really strong to drink cos that shit's dark.

The problem with Chris, Cyrax, and lolcows in general is they tend to be pretty unsavory in their character. So I think that trolls try to use that as justification for screwing with them. And combined with their stunted social antenna, they just cannot think to ignore/block trolls or just get off the internet entirely. Hence the cycle of a lolcow's inability to stop doing dumb things!

The thing about Chris is that I don't think there will ever be another person quite like him. He was a case where if you know you know, and anyone can go down the rabbit hole to learn about him. Not even Cyrax has anywhere near as much personal information about him spread like wildfire. Sure he may share similar mannerisms and characteristics to Chris with a side of trailer trash, but Cyrax has a ways to go before he can ever hope to be the next Chris.

Chris is good, but I don't think he is the best. He was the best, but I think a few others took the crown of "lolcow" a while ago. Chris isn't funny these days, it's either sad, creepy, or the "trolls" make it about themselves (kengle) and push Chris to the side.
