@@SimonAshworthWood They didn't. They were just more mixed because SS uses assets from all of the Campaigns/DLC's, so you can hear some combinations that you wouldn't in the Vanilla.

I've been playing a submod of Stainless Steel lately and about 90% of the generals' speeches include something like "Our heavy troops should see good service, for our enemy doesn't have firelocks or the like", even before gunpowder weapons show up in-game. I heard it here too, and wonder if it's not common.
