Who all hit that like button and watched the entire video?
I did. I love your personality, energy, and smile. I am hooked lol
So glad your discovering Metallica! I grew up listening to them when the radio stations wouldn't play their music. We would patiently wait for all their new albums to hit the record stores and rush to buy lol. Seeing them live in concert is a must..the energy is like no other! This live performance was special, cant imagine being in that crowd lol. I was fortunate to be able to also see Pantera in concert along with Rage Against The Machine years ago..one of my favorite concerts I ever attended! Definitely check out Pantera!🤟
Gonna have an encore!
You know I did!
ME!
I don’t always listen to Metallica, but when I do, so do my neighbors
This whole concert was epic. Great react.
that place must have been nuts
@@jspntr from what they say. They expected around 150,000 -200,000 people. There were 54 deaths. Actually, I’m quite surprised there weren’t more with that many people crammed into one place.
You have to do Master Of Puppets. It is one of their best songs!!!
Live Seattle 89
And One!
One of my favorite songs by them, and Wherever I May Roam.
The song “one”
Yes this song also! Another one with powerful lyrics and bad ass riffs
One to me is the best but you can look back till the bell tolls is the best album
This is my favorite Metallica song bar-none. Great reaction brother! i never get tired of watching this video. I've seen Metallica more than 30 times live from 1990 - 2005. Their shows were untouchable, their stage presence, their crowd participation, their timing and impeccable in synch musicianship - just jawdropping performances. Then add the pyrothechnics, the energy, and the pure quality of their sound.
Thank you for reacting to this one! As for the 50+ deaths - probably a combination of dehydration, heat stroke, and maybe injuries from being crushed?
2 other great songs with a lot of build up that you were talking about:
Master of Puppets (considered by many Metallica fans to be their best song ever)
For Whom The Bell Tolls
With nearly 2 million at the show, it would be expected that 50 might die just because it was their day to die.
This concert must have been the best therapy session ever... Remains epic, no matter how many time one has seen it.
Damn bro u really grew. I been here since the 2k days.... fucking he’ll consistency is really paying off. 50k‼️‼️‼️ respect the grind bro
Thanks bro for your support
Once you go down the rabbit hole. When you start watching and listening to Metallica you won't stop.
Pandora's box means--don't go there--best left alone.
Jumping in a "rabbit hole" would be the correct term.
You do anything Metallica, I'm wholeheartedly in. 👊
In Greek mythology Pandora’s box was opened by her and evil was released in the world
Metallica, Seattle 89, Four Horsemen. Big energy!
Awesome reaction Adogg!! Love Metallica!! The song one, and I know I put more down on the other reaction. I'm back in the good ol days with Metallica!!! Much Love and RESPECT from Minnesota!!🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️
Check out Nothing else matters, another good Metallica song
Yes....pantera "domination" live at the same show.....FIRE!!
This was such an important step in history, both Musically and politically
I love that Lars is just a blur of sticks and hair. Two others from this show that are well worth your time are "Sad But True" and "Harvester Of Sorrow".
Basically anything from this show or Seattle 1989 will show you how incredible they are as a live act.
"Master Of Puppets" from Manchester England (in the pouring rain) is also epic.
Give their studio stuff a listen, then check their live versions. You won't be disappointed!
Liked and sub'd for more!
Technically this is church rock since it's just the book of exodus.
They start playing heavy metal in church I actually might go.
No, its really not.
@@mneugent7658 yeah, it really is
@@eq1373 Yeah, I musta been drunk when I typed those words. Or mad at my girl and projecting. Or both.
Metallica brings people together! Don't care who you are Metallica brings people together now let's all head bang!
So great to see you enjoying great music. Really cool man.
'Disposable heroes' live in Mexico city 2009.... Awesome show...
Stevie Ray Vaughn is the master of guitar to check out. Voodoo Child is a good one.
58 people died because of the size of the crowd, when the crowd got too enthusiastic some people got squished and trampled. And couldn’t breathe. Because of the sheer size of it help couldn’t reach them on time.
Someone probably died while that song was playing.
Great reaction! Another great song by them is one called Nothing Else Matters, you definitely want to check out that song, it is one of their most popular songs. I grew up in the 1970s and 1980s and let me tell you that our generation had the best music and the best cars!! LOL Seriously though, we didn't even know back then how good we had it. Happy listening!
Also, do Pantera Walk
Damn rite CFH4L Stronger Than All Getcha Pull
This one for sure!
If you love guitars, an amazing bassist, and a drummer that is one of the best I've ever heard, Check out Jinjer. Which is the band. Watch a song called Words of Wisdom live. The official Napalm records version. Heavy as hell with an unreal groove. Not to mention a female singer that is one of the most talented vocalists on the planet in my opinion. Loving your stuff. Subscribed. Brace yourself for another rabbit hole with Jinjer. The Jinjer fan base is insane too. You'll get tons of support. Keep up the good work.
You wanna see amazing guitar paying/solo react to Freebird live from the 70's ...INSANE‼‼‼
Yaaasssss!
Great reaction. Enter the sandman from the same show in Moscow then head to Seattle in 1989 master of puppets, injustice for all ,seek and Destroy and just about everything at that concert is considered the best 🤘🔥👍
Never pause during a guitar solo....great reaction ...looking forward to more \m/ \m/
Consider, 1.6 million people at this FREE concert!!
Now from this same concert one last song. Give Harvester of Sorrow.
my favorite is For Whom The Bell Tolls. Love your energy. Keep it up.
Rumor has it that there are people still trying to get home from this concert. Lol!
You should listen again on your own. The song is about the plague sort of, but the biblical story of the angel of death sent by god to kill the first born sons of the Egyptians. It’s from the angel of deaths perspective. You should google their songs before you react to them, they’re usually pretty profound. Glad you’re reacting to them
You should react to Master of Puppets live in Seattle 1989! It's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!
Battery was better
1.Master of puppets
2. One/ the video is like top 10 ever
3. And justice of all
Master of puppets live in Seattle 1989 one of the best live metal performances in history. U should react
And thou shall never pause a solo. EVER!
58 people did not die at this concert. They were injured. 0 deaths. Internet creating urban myths.
I knew you would like it! Great reaction
The number 1.6 million was when they stopped counting. There was an "Estimated" 3 million people there. this was the 1st open air concert in Russia since the fall of the iron curtain. The Iron Curtain largely ceased to exist in 1989-90 with the communists' abandonment of one-party rule in eastern Europe.
You had me with the "Hang Over Gang" poster behind you now I am a fan...
I love how he says "Good Tars", lol.
This concert was just righr after the cold war, James Hetfield the singer before the 2nd singer Jason Newsted. James expecred 500 thousand crowd. But ended up with 1.6 million crowd. This was to prevent war keep going on, free admission. The helicopter was a fan for the heat it created. All of the metal family attended for sure!
Everything Metallica 😍🤘🤘🤘
You gotta do Master of Puppets live in Seattle 1989!!! It's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!!!!! Paleez!!!!
Rabbit Hole is the correct wording your seeking. Great reaction. Glad your exploring different Genres of the huge world of music.
1.6 Million people....and this is only 3rd on the all time list of crowds at an open air concert. #1 is Rod Stewart at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with a crowd of 3.5 Million in 1994. #2 was Jean Michel Jarre in 1997 also in Russia, like that Metallica show, with 3.5 Million.
And yes...sadly, 51 people died at this event.
Disposable heroes from Mexico City is fire!!
Awesome! 🤘😁
But, just a teeny tiny note - don't pause during a solo. 😁
The Crowd: “DIE DIE DIE👹👹👹”
Him: “Die😃”
The concert was during the tailend of the USSR's existence. This was the first western music performed in Russia since the 1940's. Security was handled by about 8000 Soviet army soldiers. During the concert, as mosh pits formed and began to circle the army commanders mistook it as the beginning of rioting and started bustin heads. 53 lives seems to be the most accurate count, and maybe a couple deaths came from other causes but the army was responsible for most. They didn't share much information about anything, and I haven't found any detailed reports. But the people were so hyped, many traveled for days, and the estimated 500,000 they predicted ended up at almost 2 million. The army counted up to the 1.6 mark but had to stop the count to provide "Security"! That was just the way it was for the soviet people. Their govt killed citizens on the daily. So anyone who was there is now a 40-60 year old Russian immigrant. The concert was free , however it is actually #5 on the list for record attendance!!!
Adogg , I am happy to see another metalhead being born. Metal offers very good music with meaning and relevance. (If they wear more make-up than your girl...skip it)
🎸🎵🎙🎶🥁
Bon Jovi, Ozzy Osbourne, Scorpions, Motley Crue and Cinderella played at the Moscow music peace festival in 1989 and before that Elton John 79 and Cliff Richard in 76
@@robertphelps1574 I stand corrected. I repeated some bad info, now that you mention it I believe I recall the Moscow festival , the Russian band Gorky Park also included? And the Scorpions had a quasi-hit song by the same name. Good call, I should have researched further (didn't sound quite right). With all the LiveAid, FarmAid, BandAid, Comic Relief, and WeAreTheWorld that happened around the last 5 years of the 80's my memory is a bit distorted... also due in part to other goings-on of the late 80's.
🥴🍺🥳🍄😵💨🤪🍻😵🧠
@@michaels1057 no problem some of the Moscow music peace festival concert is on CZcams
Metallica shows make you feel alive. And the crowd gets super pumped. It exciting and terrifying all at once. Go if you get the chance.
You have to check out Black Sabbath Paris concert!!! Great concert!! I love Metallica!! My favorite band ever!! But black Sabbath is awesome too!! I love watching you react to these different bands you never heard of!! It makes me happy to see you enjoy these amazing bands!! Thanks!!
Metallica song to listen to Master of puppets, one, disposable heroes, battery, damage inc., blackened, the shortest straw, and justice for all, harvester of sorrow, dyers eve. Just to start.
You a real one my g✌🏼
Look at the Fing people dog that's a heap
Looking forward to DOMINATION!!
it was five, and it was from heat stroke. That's why the helicopters were flying above to try and cool off the air for thre people in the back. Its a shame, but with 1.6 million to be that crowded its kind of not a shock
If you watch Harvester of Sorrow Metallica, same concert you will see that some of the soldiers/police were beating people
Welcome to the metal head family 🤘
AC/DC and Tesla were there AC/DC was the head liner XOXO Brandi Modrak
This is Monster of Rock tour you can watch the whole concert on CZcams XOXO Brandi Modrak
You have to do Nothing else matters from Metallica!!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
He's actually singing about Egypt and the plagues from the Old Testament Bible.
"Slaves, Hebrews born to serve, to the Pharaoh" the Jews that once were believed to have been enslaved to build the pyramids.
"Blood running red and strong down the Nile" Bible talking about water turning to blood.
"Bush on fire" Exodus 3:1-4:17 God appeared to Moses through a bush on fire on Mount Horeb. telling Mosses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt and into Canaan.
"Plagues, darkness 3 days long" Well 3 days of darkness.
"Hail to Fire" Hail beat the crops, Locust then eat the crops, and what remained was destroyed by fire. Literally, Plagues from hail to fire.
"I creep across the land, killing first born man" God swept through Egypt killing the first born male of every household.
"Blood, Lambs blood painted door I shall pass" God told all the Jews to smear lambs blood over their door so that he would know that they were his followers and he would leave that house alone.
Welcome to the club!
My man Master of Puppets Oficial video ith amazing 🤘👍😉
Awesome vid!
Check out Metallica, and justice for all, live in Seattle 1989!
METALLIICCAAAAAA!!!!!
You could also go the ballard nothing else matters which is so much more softer than this but also just as cool
This is damn refreshing seeing the uninitiated initiated….subscribed….
Pantera performed right before Metallica at that concert, might wanna react to a couple of vids of them as well....🤘🏻🇺🇸....
Side note: GO NINERS!! ☝🏻
The Russian Army was acting as security. The 58 that died, were at the hands of a few of the army. They misinterpreted the exuberance of the crowd as aggression. The Russian Army were scared shitless. 1.6 mill was more than the total of the army that was there. So I read in someone else's review.
Master of Puppets 1989 Seattle
Or "Heritic Anthem " live on Conan
I know I said yo listen to this one. Thank you for doing it lol
Master of Puppets and One
The "Rabbit hole" would be the band Tool
I did man ! Just subscribed ! Loved the reaction !
AC/DC HIGHWAY TO HELL LIVE AT RIVERPLATE👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hey bruh another good one is Fade to Black
That was so much fun.
Good stuff as always.
Please react to Domination by Pantera. They played at this show to. They were not a huge band at the time and they played to 750,000 million people. Rock in peace brother's Dimebag and Vinnie.
750,000 million? what?
@@Frostrazor yep they sure did played to 750,000 million people. They played before Metallica.
750,000 million? That is not a number and I don't think anyone in history has ever played to 750 million people at 1 time.
750,000,000,000. Earth's population 7,675,000,000. You must be the Steve who counted votes for Biden...
@@michaels1057 he said 750.000 million that is seven hundred fifty thousand million which is not a number that is what I said and I am definitely not a biden supporter. I am TRUMP 2024 all the way thank you.
Magnificent!
awsome reaction.. love it
Led Zeppelin.
You watch them,
We'll watch you...
That is all...
Check out all metallica and stop with and justice for all...plenty there for years
I don’t know about all the types of injuries, but there were over 1,000 injuries, including 58 deaths and 6 rapes
Man you have got to check out Dax, The Next Rap God. Came out a couple hours ago. Ten minutes of straight bars. One take video too.
Heavy rock + rap = Slipknot
Read the lyrics. Old Testament stuff.
never pause a guitar solo
How about some Pearl Jam? Evenflow or any of their songs
Your opening Pandora's Box.
If you want to dive down a Rabbit Hole then you need Tool.🤘
F@?k I feel like smashing shit!!! Hahaha another kickass tune DOGG!! Bringing me back to high school!!! Check out One, the four horsemen & Orion!!!! Just a few amazing songs by Metallica!!
Great video friend ✌I would suggest Sad but True next..live of course is amazing! Glad you're enjoying Metallica 🤘 Master of Puppets is another, all bangers! If you do Master of Puppets imo lyric video would be best as the lyrics are very deep. Both of these have deep meaningful lyrics and amazing transistions
Man, I miss Lars v1.0
U want see something funny look up James Hetfield and lady gaga singing enter sand man where they didn't have hetfields Mic on..he gets pissed
🥰👍
This song is about the Israelites exodus from slavery under the Egyptians and the angel of death killing the first born son of every household that did not have the Passover blood on the doorway. …So let it be written, so let it be done
