I've learned to be good on my own for the last four years and I've become good at it, but I don't think I'll ever be really happy and balanced without having someone to cuddle, without physical co-regulation.
Being under the social pressure, I started doubting my theory that if something (a relationship) should happen, it would, and decided to go on a blind date just to get rod of all those judgmental comments like “you’re not even trying”. Well, I’m really glad I went on that date just to realize how happy I am being single, and how much I appreciate my freedom. Maybe if I meet a right person I’m gonna find time for them but right now all this dating crap seems like a waste of time while there are so many interesting and pleasurable things to do in life.

The cup analogy is really nice, definitely keeping that one! 🥰 Because you mentioned... I think I feel into the "manipulative self-love" already, and many times it sounds like: "shouldn't you be accomplishing all those things? aren't you enough of a failure already? don't you love yourself to change?" oh well 🙃

How old are you?
I'm single for 6 years now and I don't find any real men, only boys who don't even want to do anything or want me to pay the bills. I really don't find any high quality men. I stopped looking for the one but thats why I'm single for yeeears and don't find anyone that suits me.
Where are you trying to find them? I was failing to discover high quality guys in dating apps, I realised it's better to find them organically so I pushed my introverted ass to join some clubs.
