@@andylazcano208 The big issue with the pug is that it needs to have higher attack than whatever unit you're buffing, so it's effects go after the pug's. But most of the time you're not really investing in the pug, so you never really see the full benefit of it

So weird that because he knows stealing un-targeted foods is amazing with the fox, he's suddenly turned that into "Fox that steals targeted food will give it to a random friend" in his head.
It's extra crazy because he knew this in the past. He's caught himself on it multiple times. Maybe this video was recorded before then? The NL timeline is always confusing on CZcams.
Maybe he has alzheimer.
At the same time he knew that one of the foxes will get the fortune cookie at 15:05
He also talked about the Pug paying off when it was only giving +2 health at start of turn for most of the game.

Combining the two strong foxes intead of leveling them with the one sitting in his shop was a power level play we will never fully comprehend. And I'm here for it

@@Michael-sh1fb NL has 3000+ hours in Isaac and he would still make basic mistakes in that game. It’s part of why we love NL.
At least now they keep the biggest stat +1 of any of the combined, instead of just +1.
I guess he would shrimp before combining sometimes if he had realized that it works like this now, so I guess he just did it without thought.

He never realized that his Eel never got the benefits of the pug level up because the order of triggers had the eel buff itself first before it levelled.

The amount of wrongness that was said on turn 12 was peak NL content, lol. The lion wouldn't work anyway because the fox is also tier 5. Single target food like broccoli will always go to the fox (I swear he knew this at some point, but has forgotten). Not to mention the pug hasn't been working like he think it has with the eel because it has less attack than the eel.
Also didnt put green pepper on a 17/4 fox and combined both high stat foxes and bought a 5/3 one

You don't seem to realize this, so I will bestow upon you some highly useful knowledge which henceforth and forth-hence and henceward will revolutionize your knowledge base, but the cracked egg can read into the future patch notes because he sees through the code and into the matrix itself. That sometimes leads to confusion, and people foolishly believing he does not know what he is doing! He knows exactly what he is doing, the rest of the world just isn't catching up. He mentions that it works well with the iguana at one point, so on some level he knows it has a push mechanic. He just hasn’t seemed to realize that it’s on friend faint.

He runs it in second position a lot at level 1 because it only gets 1 trigger anyway and it gets his good stats closer to the front

His pug never almost never trigging at the right point made me furious. And then he goes out of his way to thank it for working well
A lot of obvious pain in this one but I feel like the worst stuff is in other episodes. Though, I didn't watch this one all in one sitting so maybe the non-stop pain combines to make it the worst.
This is probably a bit too personal but I feel like sharing.
A week ago my wife went into labor early and gave birth to our daughter. She has had trouble breathing and been in the ICU ever since. During the nights that I couldn't sleep I these SAP videos kept me company so I wouldn't go completely crazy with worry.
But today I just got the call that my baby girl gets to come home on Tuesday, and it just feels right to share the news that I'll be home with my daughter soon.

Next time you have a weak team, a lack of start of battle units coming in, but lots of salamanders, maybe just field two salamanders to double dip on the few start of battle bonuses you get? Seems like it'd be better than just adding 2/2 to your main salamander, and way better than having them sitting frozen in the shop, since that means less slots to find start of battle effects in.

NL, you probably know this and just forget sometimes but effects that trigger at the same time will resolve in the order of the highest attack. That is the logic that made the honey badger so annoying before they tweaked it but it still applies pretty much everywhere else. Your Eel had more attack than your pug so it was doubling its HP BEFORE the pug gave it exp, so those extra stats were not doubled.
"The pug did some work for us there"... Nope. Not even a little bit.

This new pack really just solidified my idea that NL is actually pretty bad at SAP but gets away with it due to the simplicity of the first 2 packs. Still great content though Egg.
Yeah he played the first two packs so much that he just went on autopilot. These packs are much more complicated, but it makes for good entertainment.
They may not have changed anything about the jellyfish's stats or ability, but they did change it into WIDE form, so I do think it is now very good.
The fox eats targeted food it steals, it does not give it away randomly.
More pogs have arrived
Guinea pig would be good if it spawned two guinea pigs you could combine. Accelerate level ups maybe, not that cheap still, but actually has a use. As is I have zero idea how it functions in a pack with no sell triggers like the buffalo

I highly recommend rethinking the stork. Its actually an eagle at tier 2. It spawns an animal from last tier so tier 5 your spawning tier 4s and when lvled up it spits out stronger units its kinda goated. Pleast try the stork.

I dont think the pug eel combo was working because of eel's attack that made it's ability work before the pug's.
I think they patched that though since then, it seemed to be going before other units at the start of battle when I was playing yesterday. I was using it to level up a majorly buffed panda and the pug went first.
@@samus598 You might be right, although I felt like when I played today it followed the normal attack based ability order but I might be wrong, I wasn't paying attention. They did give it more attack at base I believe.

either he doesn't know how the foxes work or he got bad luck everytime, the fox eats the food hence only distributed foods go to other animals, mainly bringing this up cuz of the part he was going through scenarios with the lollipop for the eel which isn't possible.
