@Oliver If he's sponsored by EA, it could mean be hired by EA, then be crunched by EA, and eventually be thrown away by EA. Thing is, EA should be the last company you should trust. I love LoacherFilms, don't get me wrong, but I would get suspicious about any EA involvement.

It could go to a point where they move on to the step of hiring him to make cutscenes on which he's not making for fun anymore, but corporate needs. Would you want a corporation to use your skills for their own needs without caring about whether you enjoy doing what you're doing anymore or if you're too tired to keep up? Not to mention that if that happens, he wouldn't be able to focus on his CZcams channel as much anymore, and instead only work at the services of EA.
Now this is the most extreme outcome and you could be right that they'll just stop at a couple of sponsors and move on. However, what starts small may become something bigger in the future, something a little too big for passion to fight off greed. I just hope that Loacher won't fall too deep in EA's rabbit hole.

There was a solid 11 seconds it could have shot it's payload and killed all the republic dogs
That’s my only gripe about the video. I’m not sure if that ship is a droid itself or piloted by one. But if that thing is controlled by a computer, there is no way it would need to take that long to “think” about shooting back.

I love that almost all the Commando dialogue is a reference to dialogue from Republic Commando. Amazing work as always.

You guys do know that the 2005 Republic Commando just got remastered for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, correct? My wife gave me the Switch game for my birthday this past June. Haven’t slept since…
@@McWilliam07 It's also on Steam and runs on current specs, but that doesn't exactly make it remastered. It still has the old graphics.

The way the lead commando gave orders gave me serious Republic Commando vibes
He literally said "It's time for some radical re-structuring" that's a line from Republic Commando. Very cool easter egg imo. I'm pretty sure there's more but that's the one that's stuck with me
I heard they might have even had the same character underneath both sets of commando armor. (Sarcasm intended).
This whole thing is a case of "Talking is a Free Action."
I mean, there is so many moments where it feels like the whole combat is at pause just so they can say something...
That is kinda the same things I felt specially when the Droid Gunship appeared, it straight up just let itself get shot down, what is it suicidal?
If I had to change anything I would have made the action faster so they can get it done fast and then they can talk and celebrate, I would have also had the gunship open fire on them and themtaking cover and then firing on it.

I love how the droid gunship just stood there and did nothing while the clone commando shot a rocket at it. Very lore friendly and I loved it!
Good animation. The only critique is that the commandos unnecessarily/unrealistically gave up the high ground to engage the droids.
My only complaint was the gunship. It just sort of hovered menacingly and didn’t do anything
They wanted more of a challenge and they were disappointed
another critique from me is th at the droids where aiming everywhere but at the clones, the commandos were way to open all the time. while that would not be such a big problem they where way to slow with everything and were still not hit
Pretty sure giving up the high ground is sacrilegious by galactic republic standards. Violators are subject to a demotion in rank and required to arm wrestle a Wookie as punishment.

Those "fighters" are such drama queens. This wasn't a fight, this was just a usual theater. Just like all the last episodes, actually. I miss old authentic atmosphere of the Star Wars.

tes just have certain genetic patterns enhanced. So every storm trooper has the potential to be anything, they just have to work for it.

Great animation really! The only critique I have is every time the Clones do something the droids just stop shooting. As a example the droid gunship just hovers on the spot instead of shooting the clones. Other than that it's a masterpiece.
Talking freezes time. Besides, no one wants to listen to frantic Clones.
Your stuff always impresses me. Love how you use motion capture rather than just full cgi. Awesome environments, lighting, vfx, dialogue, Sfx and overal this was amazing!

I do love when we get to see the armor do its job. We need more instances like that to remind us that the armor isn't useless.
They were never useless. They protects from environments. Are immunes to most bullets (physical bullets like what we have) and toxic gazes. They allows them to see in dark, thought smoke, to survive and fight in the void.
It does many things. But blasters are another kind of threat. More difficult to treat
@@tuppernoot3902 I already know about everything you just said. I was only talking about how it stands up to blasters. They're almost useless against blasters, which is why I said we need instances of that. Bullets aren't in Star Wars (yet)
@@spencerstrickland5266 Bullets are in Star Wars but they’re not really calls bullets. but “slugs” and about armor resistance to blasters there’s some explanations. Like this one :
“Once blaster technology was developed, armor went into decline. No known armor can stop a full powered blaster bolt, so most people simply stopped wearing the armor that had been developed to counteract slugthrowing weapons.”

I knew about slugthrowers but I just thought they didn't count as bullets because they involve plasma and/or tabanna gas in their firing process and because I thought if they were considered bullets, instead of just calling them 'projectiles' as an umbrella term then that's what they would be called.
@@spencerstrickland5266 There’s no plasma and tibanna gaz in slugthrowers. At least not from what i know. Theses were populars in outside worlds because it does not involve tibanna gaz for example

That's a pretty solid Temura impersonation! Only really sounds off when trying to give the different clones a slight bit of personality like Dee Bradley Baker's style.
