😅 so true! I did need new glasses though and I refuse to spend a lot of money on glasses as I will break them or lose them 😆
Still can`t distinct whether you are American, Brit or Aussie but the main point is that we Argentinians feel so happy to get such wonderful tourists like you .
Haha 😅 Aussie 🦘
@@MaxandJacqueline oh so sweet , thanks ! Curiously i have many cousins born and raised in Melbourne's quarters (Moonee Ponds, Pascoe Vale, etc) anyway my relative's pronounciation of English is harsh , with more emphasis . Instead off , your way of speaking sounds so clear and soft, i loved it !
Awww thanks Angelica, Max is actually French but learnt English in South Africa when he was a teenager and has lived in Australia for 9 years and I’m just strange and don’t have a strong Aussie accent haha 😂

The best side of Teatro Colón is INSIDE!!! It's ornamented with gold. You should book a visit.
Yes we went inside to take a tour but it was so incredible busy that we decided to skip it. Much too crowded for us 😅
It has the best acoustics in the world, even better than La Fenice in Venice, the milanese Alla Scala or the Musikverein in Vienna
You really seem to enjoy Buenos Aires. This is a great video to show some of the most iconic points of interest in the city. ❤
I'm so glad you like it Baron 😁
@@MaxandJacqueline I love your videos. Theyre so professional with a touch or warmth that I've seriously thought of sharing them on LinkedIn.

El brasileño no les hizo probar el dulce de leche mas top del país seguramente les dio el repostero que es mas denso
Brasileño tramposo 😅
Le entendi mas a lo que decian en ingles que a los subtitulos 😂
I know the way of preapring mate seems unnecessarily complicated, but it all has a logical reason: you tip the yerb and pour a bit of water before inserting the straw intothe wet yerba so that the straw doesn't get clogged with all the dust (many people, me included, like to shake the yerba a bit while covering the gourd with one hand to remove the excess dust beofre doing anything else); then you pour the water in the depression instead of all over the yerba so thatit takes more time for the yerba to lose all its flavor since the highest parts of the yerba will remain dry for longer; and finally, not moving the straw around is also meant to prevent it from getting clogged with dust and leaves.
I actually like the ritual of making it, it’s like a more casual Japanese tea ceremony (sort of 😅). But the taste is not for us
I am impressed of the amount of food you both eat 😂
come back soon ❤️🇦🇷🇦🇺
😅haha, you’re not the first person to comment this… we do love food 🫶
Loved this video! It's a beautiful city to visit, there is always something new, it always surprises you! If you come to Buenos Aires, I recommend that you learn about the Argentina Polo Day experience. The city is beautiful, but the countryside is also beautiful, and to disconnect from the city, be in nature and live incredible experiences is a great plan!! Hope see you here!!
Actually we really wanted to do this but we just ran out of time. Hopefully next time we spend a day with you! Would love it!

It’s easy to take for granted something you see every day! But a good reminder to be grateful for the small things 🫶

not just the best in South America....just Paris and London, among major matropolis of the world, can compare with Buenos AIres in terms of urban beauty (architecture and orban layout : large boulevards/avenues/diagonals and ton of parks)
🙌 it is stunning!
People always making stupid comparisons.
Buenos Aires is Buenos Aires. It's unlike any other city. It has some influence of European architecture, but it's not Paris, it's not Madrid either.... not even close.
And I don't think it's the prettiest or best either (I'm Argentinian and I live in B.A.). There are so many other beautiful cities... Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Milan, Prague, Frankfurt, Munich... to name a few .
@@federicostritzler7650 Do u know how to interpret text? In that post, what sentence states Buenos Aires is Paris, Madrid or London? It only ensures Buenos Aires, along with those metropolises, is one of the most beautiful in the world, and reference is being made to MAJORS metropolises. , which isn't the case of Rome-Milan-Prague or Munich...Major metropolis are + 10 M inhabitants.
@@federicostritzler7650 Frankfurt? Its a boring sh--hole with half a dozen skyscrapers....Munich? It is a provincial town even for central european standards....
I'm Brazilian, I live next door to Argentina, Argentina is great for tourists, things are very cheap because their currency is devalued, it's an excellent country
Argentina was such a beautiful and diverse country! We loved travelling around and Buenos Aires is an incredible city! Brazil is also amazing we loved it!
Pizza in Buenos Aires is the real original pizza from Northern Italy before the success of the southern (neapolitan) standard of thin dough made them almost dissapear, in fact Faina (Farinata) from Genua is one of the last remnants and nobody outside of tht city knows it in Italy

Do come back to Southeast Asia when you are done in South America. You know you will get high viewership in Malaysia 😊. Anyway Argentina looks great! 😊 Fun Fact: The Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur was designed by an Argentinian, Cesar Pelli. 😊

Buenos Aires is a beautiful and vibrant city. It is a shame that Santiago's builders and architects did not preserve the elegant buildings in downtown Santiago and El Golf, Las Condes. They replace them with glass common buildings.

Being an argentine world experienced wine & food journalist, I can say, that I love ur cuisine tour value for price experience, and no doubt N 1 is Asado in its multiples formats... Then you have 6 different regions in our country, each with its own tipical cuisine. To give an idea, there are 18 kinds of empanadas, depending the province. But generally speaking f or B. A., is: Asado, empanadas, pizzas, pasta, pastel de papas, revuelto gramajo, ensalada criolla, (lettuce, tomatoes, grated carrot, onions, a hint of garlic, with mayoliva and vinagre emulsion), locro, puchero and carbonada (stews for winter), tortilla criolla, choripan, morcipan, lomito o matambrito; milanesas de pollo, beef, aubergine (eggplant), or filet de merluza (hake) a la napolitana,; a simple stake with different salads, puré de papas o zapallo, or french fries; and lots of vegetable soups. If you add alfajores, colaciones, arroz con leche, flan, helado, types (not just classic medialunas) facturas for tea/bkfast (viennoiserie, pastries), (cakes), and mate, fernet, etc, the list becommes endless...
😳 It would be a very long video if we tried all of that 😅 but thank you for sharing this is great for when we come back to try even more foods 🫶
03:31 is Gardel?
You can drink mate bitter or sweet, when you try it for the first time it has to be sweet, because it is very bitter for those who are not used to it, I used to drink it sweet and the bitter mate seemed very ugly to me, now I'm used to it and I I take both ways
Maybe we would try it sweet but to be honest we prefer coffee ☕️😅
@@MaxandJacqueline The mate at first is ugly, then I don't know if it seems delicious, but we still drink it, the mate is more similar to tea than to coffee, there is even the cooked mate that comes in a bag and is drunk in a cup the same as tea, not with bulb.
Try mate dulce, or mate cocido (like tea bags)
We have to admit, we prefer coffee to tea 😅
@@MaxandJacqueline
those of us who r already fourth or fifth generation of European immigrants, remain faithful to coffee, mate wasn't typical of large Argentine metropolises until well into mid 20th century, it was introduced from rural areas or immigrants from neighboring countries.
To drink mate cocido you have to go to the north of Argentina, in Buenos Aires the mate cocido is horrible
19:39 el brazuca haciendo trampa y dando un dulce de leche argentino que no conoce nadie jaja Pobre tipo
What do Brazilians know about dulce de leche? That Brazilian is very tricky, who knows if that dulce de leche that he says is Argentine, is really Argentine, it is not from any well-known brand.

What’s from America? Sorry you’ve confused us on this one 😅
The statues are not grotesque - they are as imagined by the plastic artist Molina Campos
Grotesque in the literal translation as in “comically ugly and distorted”, it’s not a bad thing, just a description 🫶 but I do still wonder why they are there 🤔
The Brazilian guy gives you guy's the worst dulce de leche from Argentina trust me !
Oh I believe you! It was obviously very one-sided
The brasilian guy just took the cheapest argentine dulce de leche (and probably the best brasilian one) to do that "unbiased" test 😐
Haha probably!
The Brazilian guy was cheating. He gave you two different types of ddl. We also have that type that is more creamy... There are a lot of types of ddl in the market for different bakery uses!
