A Peruvian food enthusiast here, I recommend you mix huancaína with arroz con pollo, that's amazing, anyway there are so many sauces you can try, like ocopa, crema de rocoto, salsa criolla, all divine, and very good that you went to the market where there is greater variety and good food

We spent 3 days exploring Barcelona and these were our top experiences! 🍤 - Absolutely recommend a Tapas Tour with @foodlovertour we went to some more modern places as well as some really local places that had been serving tapas for many decades! It included drinks and we actually got a bit tipsy but really the food was incredible and the vibes were high! 🍷 - Technically Montserrat is not in Barcelona but it is just a day trip away and it is a stunning monestary built on an even more beutiful mountain. You can take the train up the mountain to learn about this fascinating place and afterwards you get to have lunch and a wine in a literal castle from the 6th century!!! Check out @castleexperience the guides were so fun. 🕍 - Finally the famous Segrada Familia, Spains most famous architect Gaudi created this... umm.. *unique* cathedral. It's definitely the most unique style of cathedral you will see in all of Europe and is especially famous as its still being built! We'll let you make up your own opinion on its beauty BONUS TIP: Many landmarks in Spain such as the Sagrada Famila will book out wayyyyy in advance, I'm talking 3-4 weeks in advance, so plan your trip accordingly and if you really want to visit a landmark make sure you book tickets online. BONUS BONUS TIP: It's always most cost effective to book directly via the landmarks website instead of going through third parties such as Get Your Guide BUT if something is sold out on the website sometimes you can find a ticket available on those third part sites 😉 SUBSCRIBE for more travel tips 🫶

People talk about safety, but I've never been robbed in Rio. I've been there several times. I love this city! The media focuses on Rio because the largest TV network in Brazil is based there. Of course, there are places to avoid, like the favelas. But every city has its no-go areas.

In Europe I used to ride the Flixbus overnight and the police always showed up inside also.

I am a Brit who has been living in SP for over 20 years now. You are right, there is so much to see and even after 20 years here, you find something new all the time and I don't even go out that much! It is a beautiful city with the best food from all different cultures and mostly wonderful and friendly people. It is now my home and I have never once been made to feel as an outsider. Of course there are negatives about a major city, but name me any massive city in the world and they will have the same problems too. You did go and see a lot of nice places, but I do hope you get to spend more time here if you ever visit again. Even if you don't like sports, you should go and watch a Football game, just not when they are playing a rival team. I am actually a member of the club Palmeiras which is one of the biggest and most successful teams in South America. Their fans are passionate as are all fans, but games can get dangerous when they play rivals, passion turns to violence sometimes. It is becoming expensive to buy food etc here these days and the cost of living is increasing every year, much more than the salaries of the workers. So people are currently struggling, which is why the price of just about anything is going up, especially for touristic things. But then all popular cities do that. It is nice that you enjoyed Sao Paulo, but you will get a lot of mixed comments here I am sure.
