  • A Printed Circuit Board is the backbone of all the modern day electronic devices. Let’s explore what a PCB is and how these tiny circuits are manufactured. This video explains how a PCB is made with help of Gerber file, chemical etching and UV process all starting from a copper plate using THT technology.

I have experience working for a pcb manufacturing company in South Korea.
We made the product at the request of Intel, Samsung, and SK Hynix.
Most of the processes are automated. However, it is necessary to always monitor whether the automated facility is operating properly and change the data according to the conditions of the product.
I had to constantly doubt and check the results of the machine.
For example, in the plating process, whether it is gold or copper, what is the thickness of the plating, whether the plated surface is smooth, or if nothing is plated other than the design... I had to check one by one using a magnifying glass.
Even when working in the painting and marking parts, I always had to check all the results one by one.
The reason why people have to check and control each and every one of them is because...
    It's because PCB is 3D!
The plane of the pcb is not a complete plane. Plated and circuit-injected areas protrude, and holes are in.
Production drawings and films are paid on the assumption of 2D without considering 3D.
Especially during the ultraviolet exposure process, the film adheres to the pcb product.
Because of the difference between 2D and 3D,
    Fine differences occur.
If the size ratio between the film with the drawing and the actual pcb is perfect 1:1, the film becomes almost unconditionally small due to the 3D of the pcb.
Therefore, a slightly larger film is provided than the actual product.
When production workers actually make it, some parts of the film are small or large.
In some cases, the drawing film may be modified several times.
These tasks should be checked one by one using a magnifying glass.
It takes a long time, my eyes are stiff, and I'm stressed out.
The higher the density of the circuit, the higher the production difficulty.
This is because there is a high probability of interfering with circuit imprinting, plating, painting, and marking.

At least some places have a manual step of aligning a transparency with black lines on it.
For green boards not a problem.
      Some customers order black PCBs.

PCB or Perfect Cherry Blossom is a seventh official game of Touhou Project franchise. It is a vertical scroll-shooter, also referred as Bullet Hell or Danmaku shooter, where danmaku means "barrage". Games of this genre are famous for a great amount of bullets and some other projectiles being shot into the player's character. This game is considered one of the easiest in the franchise and thus one of the best starting points to start playing Touhou. Touhou Project is also famous for it's great music. Game presents three playable characters with two shot type each. The unique features of the game in the series is the Cherry points, which can multiply your score or launch a Barrier that can protect you from enemy bullets or give you a lot of score for not losing it until it's time runs out. Also after the so-called Extra stage which is common for other Touhou games and is unlocked after beating the game on good ending with any character, there is additional stage, the Phantasm, that can be accessed after beating Extra.
The game introduces several characters which are still very popular up until today, such as Alice Margatroid, Youmu Konpaku, Yuyuko Saigyouji, Chen, Ran Yakumo and Yukari Yakumo.
The game tells the story of so-called "Spring Snow Incident". By some unknown means, the spring didn't come to Gensokyo, the fantasy land where all of the games take place, resulting in winter continuing all the way untill may. Follow the heroine on her way to investigate the incident, defeat powerful enemies and bring the Spring back to the Gensokyo!
