I tested out the Aroeve air purifier in my home office. Does it make a difference? Amazon US: AROEVE Air Purifiers for Home,... www.amazon.com/dp/B09GM8Y8BN?...
Thank you for this video! I too went down the Amazon rabbit hole looking for one! I had bought a larger one of the same brand but it was just too big and clunky and I’m sending it back and got this one instead which arrived today! I will use it by my home office desk also and also because I live on a busy street and get a lot of dust. Thank you! Appreciate your unbiased and comprehensive review! It’s a good deal for the price for sure!! 👍
Lucky find! Another mans trash is another mans treasure! My brother has found so many great 4K Monitors and other good electronics at the Goodwill as well. Going to have to go there soon to see what I find!
make sure if you get one of these little ones make sure it uses the H13 filters and not the H11 then with the H13 u can get ones that help with smoke also i think there purple or it was just that brand
I have one I bought about two years ago I'm just now ordering a new filter I was a little disappointed because it's very small but it does work quite well not sure if it's worth the $50 price
On the instructions it says to make sure to insert the filter in the correct position. I just got it today and wasn’t sure which side it goes on? There is one end that shows the black wider than the other side. Does it really matter?
They say air purifiers work best when they're at least three feet above the floor have you heard anything about that? I Have air purifier very similar to yours. Am thinking about keeping my on the floor. Am worried that I might nock it over.
I notice that you place your purifier on your desk near your computer. I recently just bought mine but was worried about putting it near my computer due to the instructions stating to not do so. How’s your experience with it so far? Does it cause any interference with your electronics? Just wanted to make sure if it’s safe or not to do so.
Still going strong. I've basically been using it non stop since the review. MK06 MK01 True HEPA Replacement... www.amazon.com/dp/B0963QG2RM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It's more of a convenience. If I'm in a video meeting and I forget to lower the fan it would be nice to have a remote to turn it down versus having to leave my meeting to turn it down. Has nothing to do with being lazy.
I have the same design purifier by pomogron. With mine whenever I cook or use bathroom the smell isn't as intense nor does it last as long as before I got this purifier. Over all it helps rid stenches. Even when I mop I don't smell the bleach as strong and as long as before using this purifier.
All air purifiers are going to accumulate visible dust on the prefilters - even a heater or air conditioner will get a lot of dust on the prefilters. I strapped an inexpensive prefilter to a fan and it also accumulated a lot of dust. But this does not mean the unit filters particulates well - esp. the most dangerous smaller particulates. Also, this unit has the carbon come last which means it will be putting some carbon in the air we breathe. 😐
If you think about it Besides dust there are other dangerous things in your air. Like car exhaust fumes you cannot see or Covid germs. Thanks for the review 👍

Im really happy with mine too. You can throw oils in there to get your place smelling good. Nice review
I just bought a brand new one of these at Goodwill for $7! So excited to see great reviews on this particular model. Can't wait to use it.

can it filter human smells, like swett from under the arms ? tnx

As far as I can tell it's the same either way. I just verified it on mine.
They say air purifiers work best when they're at least three feet above the floor have you heard anything about that? I Have air purifier very similar to yours. Am thinking about keeping my on the floor. Am worried that I might nock it over.
Interesting. I have mine on my desk. But yeah definitely be careful if it's on the floor.

So far I've had no issues. I didn't see that warning in the manual. But no issues.
@@WillOnParade That’s good to know. I’ll give it a try. Thanks for responding.
Do you know how to turn off the red light after replacing the filter ?
But your finger over all three touch buttons and wait for it to beep
Looks like its got dust on it around the air holes at the bottom. Black shows dust. Also attracts dust.
Yes it's sucking in air so some gets dust is collected around the inlet.
hello, for the filters do you have to buy new filter every 3 - 6 months or can you just wash the filter using warm water?
Looks like you may be able to wash and reuse. But the manual recommends buying a new one.
Nope..can confirm cannot wash..the ones I bought have charcoal in them. Well let me re phrase. Yes you can wash it. But it will never be the same lol.
@@WillOnParade
Yeah I wouldn’t recommend washing the filter it’s getting the correct ones
Vacuum your filter. That's what I'm going to do.
Does anyone know how to reset the light once you've replaced the filter?
Did you get some kind of weird smell or do you think that's how the smell with the HEPA filter?
No, I didn't get any weird smells.
@@WillOnParade i turn on the UV light and the smell went away so now it smells clean glad i got one as well
I always have the UV light on so that's probably why I never noticed. Good to know it works.
@@AG-sb7pu I think that might have been a coincidence. I don't think it's an actual UV light and is just a cosmetic light.
Is it safe to ne runniny overnight, or when no one is at home?
I usually keep mine running all night. But I do turn it off when I'm not home.
What are those snowflake looking things above the fan control?
That's where you can add essential oils. I haven't used it.
can you send a link for replacement filter. debating buying. is it good years later?
Still going strong. I've basically been using it non stop since the review.

@@WillOnParade how often do you have to change the filter
@@WillOnParade i work in a studio where people smoke all the time. i don’t smoke. do you think it’ll help?
How do you reset red light after filter change? I lost my book
Hold the light bulb down with the purifier turned on.
Thank you
Do you run it 24 hours a day?
Yeah pretty much. It's very rare I turn it off.
Can you turn off the annoying beeping? It's insanely loud for no reason. I'm asking if the unit lets you turn it down.
I'm at min 1 in the video, bruuh this has alexa support cause i ordered one & need to know...?
Unfortunately it doesn't. I wish it did.
@@WillOnParade ok bro
Geez you guys are lazy
Does it have a remote, does it work with Alexa lol
Just turn it on and off
It's more of a convenience. If I'm in a video meeting and I forget to lower the fan it would be nice to have a remote to turn it down versus having to leave my meeting to turn it down. Has nothing to do with being lazy.
Does it help dimish smells?
I would say no. Haven't noticed that it helps keeps smells away.

Ive only used it in my bedroom. But glad it does help stop odors.
I need to get one of these mate my bedroom is absolutely full of dust 🥹🥺
Does it have ionizer ? Or produces ozone? Heard it’s bad for your lungs
It does not. Just a UV light to kill bacteria.
it's strictly air flow and a high grade filter. As well as the UV and LED lights.
It’s definitely not loud at the highest speed. No need to mute.
did yours come with a remote?
No mine didn't. I wish it did though.
I don’t have a remote. Either it’s on or off
Do you notice a difference in air quality
I did. Less stuff in the air. Less dust on my workspace too.
@@WillOnParade Thank you for replying. I'm going to order one.
