If you are patient, Amazon has this model on sale regularly for UNDER $60 (-$$ discount + stacking discount code). At that price point this unit beats everything else for function, features, and how much air you move and can clean.
Very true and good advice..I use mine in my attic and it make a huge difference even on low night mode .
About three days in I started really being able to tell. We have mastiffs, so it was slow, but now it’s really nice in there. I’ve used lemon scented oils and it smells really good in there!
I paid 130$ but then I saw the mk-11w which just came out for 120$ after 80$ off. Both are 200$ retail. But after looking. The newer mk-11w is smaller. I’m going to order both and try. I also ordered the big mk09w that has no fan.
Living situation been tight lately and cleanliness has been a thing on my mind. Been looking into the mini ones since I share a sleeping space with family. For sure putting this as a wishlist. Great video 🙏🏽
Smaller ones that can go on the desk are good too as long as you have one near you. It may not clean the whole space but it will clean up the desk area where you are. Sending good energy your way!!
I bought this after your recommendation! Got it on sale for around $60 :)
I wanted an air purifier to solve a specific odor problem that I couldn't pinpoint the source and unfortunately this did not help. BUT...
It is still clearly a quality item with essentially 2 useful appliances in one (purifier, fan, bonus nightlight) and I think it's fair to say it does what it was designed to do.
My favorite feature is how quiet it can get when operating. I was pleasantly surprised this was the case considering how big it is.

ahhh sorry it didnt help with the unidentified smell! I've seen these types of systems that can attach to air conditioning and spread the scent throughout the home. It's what they use at hotels instead of individual air fresheners! Maybe it's worth looking into! This helped us in our bedroom where the dogs(mastiffs) sleep. My wife is looking at getting one for her office now since it did such a great job up there. Did you try adding any strong scents?
@@CoZChristopher No, I admit I didn't use the fragrance feature that comes on this unit, because I was already using an essential oil diffuser in my space.
Your helpful comment lead me to HVAC scent diffusers, which sounds similar to the method I'm already using, but maybe less practical since I live in a studio apartment and need renter friendly solutions (which I tried A LOT of 😅)
My smell good fragrances were only temporarily masking or straight up clashing with the mystery odor stinking up my spot!
Long story short, I eventually figured out where the smell was coming from and decided to try placing a cup of cleaning vinegar (a natural deodorizer and purifier) in that area and low and behold the smell has nearly disappeared completely!! (😭 tears of joy)
Now with my fragrance diffuser, air purifier, and vinegar all doing their job I get to enjoy a cozy and pleasantly fresh home.
Can you make a video on the best way to clean the fan? It gets very dusty frequently and it's hard to clean
@@jc3947 great idea! I would imagine an electric duster would be best, one with a strong wind speed that could break up and collected dust
@CoZChristopher I've used 2 electric vaccums, even my dog's vacuum brush , swifters, qtips, and nothing has worked. I was thinking about opening the fan, but it could get damaged. I think
This product sucks big time. It keeps returning to auto mode when I set it to high air purifier fan mode.
@@duyluu3354 do you potentially have it attached to any programs that auto change? I haven’t had any problems like that from it. Moved it to my boys room recently to combat teenage odor, so it’s still working ok my end :(
Thing is, I have two MK08. They both do this. I use to set scenes in the smart life app, but it didn’t work too well as they keep reverting back to a setting I had them on manually. Now that I have deleted these scenes, I’m using the App manually, but after running the air purifier for a while, it reverts to auto mode by itself, which is a low fan low air purifier mode if there is a green light on display.
I figured it out. The App is terrible, just don’t use Scene mode. It doesn’t work when configuring the settings. One-click doesn’t work either. I think the App is an after thought.
