Really like that Shape of the Absolute… Think that’s why my personal preference is Pearl, that long Arc shape is amazing looking
I am a senior bowler and I have an x3 I love this ball and it has made me a believer in hybrids. It’s important to know the formulation of the cover stock. For example the x3 is 2 parts pearl and one part solid.
It depends on that day and center for me. Normally solids and pearls. Don’t have many hybrids mostly just the zen soul. Still getting used to it. Just got the zen master. Definitely needed a couple games on it before it started shaping
I run mostly hybrids. Back to the intense fire to the now ordered absolute. Cover changes and layouts I've got most of my arsenal in the hybrid realm. My only pearl is the zen. But prefer the soul as crazy as that sounds as the zen is ridiculous good
i just got my x3 a few weeks ago and man is that ball a perfect fit for me. i throw about 15mph and have medium rev rate. my black widdow and night road kept sliding late in the pocket and leaving lots of 10 pins ect. i switched to the x3 and my god....average went up significantly my pin carry is insane...last night i shot a 289 and have been shooting much higher scores...I cant say enough about that ball.
Me and my brother got an RSTX3 and a Reality Check I got the RSTX3 and he got the reality check. We got them when they first came to Australia and we were the first to throw them in our centre and some of the first in the country. Amazing balls, well explained.
usually hybrid like zen soul works for me very well when it is longer lanes. Im curious testing absolutely on shorter lane but with strong layout, or early.
The absolute almost reminds me of the DV8 Collision tbh. Either that or another DV8 ball, the Intimidator Pearl.
My favorite is Solids as well. I do like to throw it on longer patterns and more house shots to see great reaction ❤
I'd like to see a comparison of the absolute and something like the fate.
I like sym solids, cant wait to see this up against the Dark Code as it is my current Asymmetrical.
Any opinion on reacta gloss yet? Another ball review has said it gets slimy and squirly.
Even to the point you are better off taking it 500-1000-1500 then Polish

Which one would you pick up the X3 or absolute I have demo both got a better response with the absolute but the X3 is a little cheaper right now what are your thoughts

Love the look and how Pros can make the RST come alive. Yours would do the better job. The 3 is a Pro Bowler ball (looks great though), period. The object of these demos is to sell stuff you will most likely never, ever need. Nor, could use it for what is meant for. The Widow 3.0 comes to mind- a Pro ball. IQ 78, Black Hammer 78, and so on. But, is up to the bowler. What ever you gives you more confidence.
I don't mind solid or pearl hybrid ball depending on the oil condition. One of my buddies was telling me about the Storm Absolute. Than I saw pro bowler, Darren Tang bowling that ball. It looks really impressive. I actually want a new reactive solid ball before I consider a hybrid ball.
got one last week, LOVE it, shot 630 subbing, my league tonight lets see if I can execute FYI I'm using out of the box haven't changed the surface. Ball reacts like what I saw in videos 🙂
I got an absolute 2 weeks ago , it’s spectacular. I shot my first 300 and 800 with it last week .

I like solids and urethane. Feels like you have to/get to tell those balls exactly what you want them to do

Jungo I really like my 1,2,3 punch of the Exotic Gem Altered Reality and Reality Check I'm a senior bowler with slow speed more rev dominant and like Pearls
Jungo, you mentioned testing the Absolute against the Dark Code. Have you seen the DC make a stronger move off the back end after a few games on it?
My rstx3 makes me think I'm a asym hybrid kind of guy it's my first and only hybrid and asym, it's the funnest ball I own can play from 20 all the way into the next lanes ball return

My RST-X1 Is a monster. I prefer the hybrids myself as Its kind of the best of both worlds.
If you are making me pick I would say solids. But my main goal is to use the right one on the right condition in the right spot

I’m a solid person, but, recently I’ve started gravitating towards more hybrids
How does the Absolute compare with the X1? Until the last couple years I preferred solids, but now the covers are too strong, so I've been using more hybrids or strong nano pearls. Wish Roto would make an asym Idol with the OG Idol cover.
The X1 is pretty close to what you are describing, just a hybrid instead of solid. The RST X2 Squad is exactly what you are describing, but is an overseas balls. Technically the Gem fits your description but I think the core is stronger than what you are wanting.

Not big on soild hybrid pearl. I look at ball reaction and if the ball is consistent or not. If it is able to contribute to strike stings. Remember it's always the ball never the bowler lol 😆 😂 🤣.

The only thing new here is the weight block. R2S Deep Hybrid isn't new if you've had opportunities to throw Japanese releases like the Star Lock.

All three of them have different cores so how can they compare them
How does Absolute compare to Altered Reality?
Absolute will go much farther downlane and snap harder in back. Altered reality has much stronger cover formula

I like pearls mostly with solid being a close 2nd.. I have never had good luck with hybrids.. either they are over under with 2 parts pearl 1 part solid or they hit super flat 2 parts solid 1 part pearl. I would like to try this but man I've been burned by a ton of hybrids for whatever reason

If you watch, he is hawking the strengths of all three balls. Purposefully moving and making bad shots, moving to another to solve an "issue": Only to "fix" it with another ball, over and over. That's what "demos" ar folks, sales opportunities. Ask a local bowling Pro Bowler that has a strong teaching reputation by allot of people. Most likely, it will not be any of these. 99% of league bowlers will never need any of these.
