It's really amazon how similar in quality the InfiRay P2 Pro is to the much more expensive FLIR E6 or E8 thermal cameras. They are 5-10x more expensive respectively and yet the P2 Pro has some must have features that the FLIR does not. For one, P2 PRO has an optional macro lens and you can even record thermal video at 25Hz on your phone! The FLIR 9Hz and it requires connecting to a computer for video.

Please, sir, i need advice between UNI-T Ut260b handheld and infiray p2 pro detachable. Which should i go for Please sir just for repairs and also consider outdoor and indoor use battery life and the rest... thank for the answer sir 🙏
UT260b is a standalone device. P2 pro requires a phone. Resolution and update are about the same on paper but the P2 pro is a lot more compact and will last as long as your phone has battery.
Do you know if the only difference between the one for Android and the one for iOS is just the connector/port? And nothing else specific built into the camera itself?
Because the new iPhone 15 has usb-c now. So definitely I can’t buy the version that says it’s for iOS, because it shows the lightning port in the product images, and the new iPhones have usb-c now. However, when googling the camera, the title of the usb-c version contains “Android”. Not sure if it has anything Android specific built in, or if it will work with an iPhone/iOS 🤔
Yeah I had the exact same question and found no answers! So I went and bought it anyway. So the USB C CAN NOT BE USED ON IOS. I tried it on my iPad Pro Latest gen which has USB C as standard. But no, cannot get it to work on there either. My iPhone 14 Pro Max with adaptor USBC - LIGHTNING - nope. My iPhone 15 Pro Max nope. Software just prompts you to attach the P2Pro. I think they would be able to get it to work with a software upgrade, though that is me just guessing. Very frustrating. Works perfectly with my SAMSUNG S23 Ultra, though.
@@shankurrim5540 thanks for sharing. I was also wondering if the one with lightning port would work using an adapter from lightning to usb-c. But of course I’d prefer they make the usb-c one working by software (my guess is the same, it must be fixable from the app, they just need to release a new version… or maybe a firmware fix for the camera itself?) 🤷🏻♂️
No probs. Glad to give some insight. I have been procrastinating on this purchase for this very reason - of not knowing. But I do wish there was more clarity on the compatibility between different OS or possible future updates.
