I love it, I've had one for over a year now. I keep it inside my old Seek Thermal case, which it fits into with ALOT of space to spare. I didn't get that magnetic macro lens thing through. It wasn't available at the time.
Excellent review Bruce. Much more comprehensive than others I've seen on YT for this particular product. Thank you!!!!
Excellent work as always!
Gran vídeo, yo tan contento con mi Myleseey, va de lujo, un saludo.
Excellent review! Thanks for your time and effort making it. 👍
thanks for sharing. I am sold! going to buy now
Excellent review! Thanks, Bruce!
Really great review, with the perfect dose of humor. Many thanks!
thank you for this video, it helped me so thumbs up .
Great video. Very informative and data well presented.
batman reviewing thermal cameras!
Excellent review and a damn fine lil thermal cam!
Excellent work. Thank you.
Honest review with details Bruce, nice work! I am thinking how Flir ONE will do when facing such a challenge?
Great informations!!!
works well enough for my needs.
thank you so much !
Excellent well-informed and complete video!! just one question other CZcamsrs have stated that you cannot use it during the daytime, if this is true, why
I have one, too. It is a very useful tool for me to troubleshoot in my daily work
That is a shockingly great thermal camera for the size great review bruce
I can confirm this is a very powerful little camera. The new thermal cameras coming out these days are great value for the cost compared to Flir (More for commercial Industry). I myself use the Topdon TC 001. The refresh rate above 20Hz makes a huge difference. The apps can also be updated to add more features like the one i use which added camera overlay (with variable transparency). It seems most of these apps still have issues with saving settings, although mine had an update today that now saves some of them. For around $300 this is amazing. I use it at least a few times a week at work and on my hikes to find critters.
Agree, but as I know that INFIRAY is the sensor supplier for Topton, so compare with a assembly firm, I prefer the full-solution provider...
@@RyanMi- for sure. I bought the topdon because of its size. In my workplace the smaller version would be lost or damaged. I agree this version is better especially since it has the macro lens for small electronics repair.
Hey Bruce, any updates on the ultrasonic washing machine?
Any disadvantages?
I am thinking of making one.
Very interested in this 🤔 would like to make a thermal camera on the raspberry pi. Did you need to download any drivers?
Would like to run it in opencv to change the palettes 👍
hi.. is there a good thermal cam for the new gen iphone with usb-c ? or can we use the thermal cams that we can use on android phones with usb-c? thx
Can this be attached to a Go Pro?
Best camera ever! i need to receive one friend want to help me to get it its so cool i think its going to change my life with it. all my laptop motherboard repairs will be so much easier :) From what i saw its insane! i cant wait to get in my hand one :)
Wow, really impressive bit of kit and excellent review! Does the USB-C version work on the iPhone 15 Pro?
I'm pretty sure it does, but I will certainly double check with InfiRay.
@@BranchusCreations cheers, much appreciated
@@BranchusCreations While it _should_ work, I would not make that assumption. USB-C is different it there is a good chance that at least a software fix is needed. We have no idea how the camera is communicating on iOS vs. Android. That said: really looking forward for an answer from them - I want that camera 🙂
I’d really love to know this too. I’ve had a look around and I can’t find anyone who’s tested the USB-C model on an iPhone 15 or even an iPad with USB-C.
I’m also interested in iPad compatibility. I don’t have a USB-C phone yet, but I’m considering buying the USB-C P2 Pro and then using it with my iPad until I upgrade my phone in the future.
What about magnification -- can you zoom in?
very nice
What about if we compare that to FLUKE iSEE?
Question that wasn't addressed in the video: does it come with a case of some sort? Given that it's so small, having a convenient way of storing it seems quite important.
Where's the video where you put the sink ultrasonic cleaner to the test?????
When you were fi;lming people from above, it said 50celsius, this is not accurate at all right? I mean, what is actually it's accuracy?
👍👍
Would the USB-C version (labeled Android) work with the new iPhone 15 (given it now has USB-C)?
I'm pretty sure it will, but I will certainly double check with InfiRay.
I asked too, their reply@@BranchusCreations
Type C for iphone is being developed.
Type C for android not work for type C ios.
Our R&D staff is working on it, so stay tuned.
But can it still detect heat through that special mud along the river?
I'll give Arnold a call and see if he wants to participate in a test.
Does anyone know if they will have a USB-C version of this for iPhone (15/15pro)? The only USB-C versions I see are only for Android.
I'm just waiting to hear back from them.
@@BranchusCreations I have a contact there too and asked earlier this year in anticipation of Apple adopting USB-C, he told me to reach out later, which I did (no response). His name was Miller.
@@CarlMoebis I've tested tonight and can confirm it does NOT work on iPhone 15 Pro sadly.
16:21 your battery comparison is a bit flawed. hi-res onboard camera vs lo-res thermal camera. +7Mp internal vs 50Kp thermal otherwise, nice review. tnx
🙏🏼
P2 pro can detect very small temperature changes
Why do IR cameras have to be so damn expensive.
Apparently one of the reasons is the lenses. If you ever point an infrared camera at a glass window, it's like looking at a brick wall - the infrared doesn't pass through it. So they have to make the lenses out of expensive materials that will allow infrared to pass through them like germanium or zinc selenide.
These type of things are great til apple changes the connector
I'm waiting to hear back from InfiRay (they are on holidays right now), but am hoping they will respond to the change swiftly.
In shopping mall not any fart detection?
for $480 theres better options out there for less
It's only 279 mate,,,, how to imagine that 279 you can get a thermal, it won't happen before
This looks like a copy of flir for sure...
Flir wont make an usbc for iphone 15, their recommend their bluetooth one at $800, this one is lightning so I am pretty sure it’s an old design/stolen from flir because they moved on from it.
And yep the flir ios app is absolutely terrible and flaky, could take 20-40 tries to connect the camera.
Be careful, or a fly will fall into your mouth.
