- In this video we see the new A8 world record for an N/A 6th gen Camaro ss. The only N/A thats went faster is the Texas Speed car but it has a TH400 in it.
The times from the video were as follows
Leadfed: 9.97 @135
Penywise910: 10.88; fastest pass ever 10.85
Mistriss: 10.8's with some issues with the throttle body being worked out
Looneytuned: 9.69 fighting traction

Great video! I'm from Puerto Rico and I have a 6gen A8. I run it with nitrous, Now i want to do heads, cam, converter and manifold. What can you guys recommend me to run like your N/A friends ?? My best time Is 10.8 125 with 175shot 😕 I will appreciate the help! 🤙
Roberto C. Lopez Cabrera hey bro if you want the best performance out of your car with heads, cam, and converter you need to talk to Brett at Pray Performance. He has guys running 9’s with heads and cam no nitrous or supercharger or turbo just all motor. He’ll hook you up. He stays very busy though so get with him as soon as you can 👍

I went with the weapon x kit but it’s pretty expensive. There are a few other options out there like the Holley 2.0 that are a little cheaper. There is a new one I just found out about as well that sounds really awesome. I’ll get back to you on the details of it

Sick video. I really like seeing the truth of who is getting the most out of the least mods. So the 9sec car, I think I heard bolt ons, but that thing has a Godzilla level monster cam no? What all has been done to it? Is it street able? I'm starting to think with what you all are doing in NC that people are gonna be 10sec na I'm street tires. Any hopes of setting an NA record w your SS?
It’s a big cam and ported heads ported throttle body running e85. Also has a aftermarket converter in it. All work and tune done by pray performance. Its still streetable for sure but he takes it to shows and races that’s about it. The SS is gonna have a power adder. Thanks for watching and enjoying the content. Why he cut the diffuser of
Since he doesn’t have an exhaust back there the diffuser was filling up with air like a parachute and slowing the car down

Omega Doom for 6th gen Camaro’s there is an official list that is constantly updated and maintained. Every time someone makes a new pass their time slip is submitted for approval and the new record is updated

duvonate hooker you’ll have to get a hold of Pray performance to get all the details as most of the parts are his ported stuff. But it’s got his spec’d converter, ported heads, his spec cam, ported intake ported throttle body.

I have a 6th gen with a high ram as well. I’m having trouble fitting my cai fit since the high ram sits so tall . What’s that material used to extend the tubing on the cai called ?

It's a pity GM didn't market it properly. With bolt-ons and 10-11 sec timeslips it's not a bad daily family car / grocery getter.

What are the mods to the Camaros
Converter, ported Holley hi ram intake, ported throttle body, Kooks headers, pray performance custom grind cam, ported heads, e85. Everything ported and tuned by pray performance.
I have a question, I have a 16' m6, stock new tires, street tune, e85, holly cold air kit. I also did muffler delete for weight savings. I raced my buddy's stock 19' with the a10, all 6 runs from 20 to 40 rolls, the guy was right there, I would pull away and I'd shift and he get back beside me. Is that muffler cavity and defuser slowing me down or is the a10 that good. I wasnt no lift shifting as I'm not proficient yet but I. Am a very decent shifter.
Fonzo Hernandez there are a ton of factors that could play into it. But that cavity filling up with air is definitely going to slow you down some. But also depends on your tune, ect. But if your on e85 he shouldnt be right beside you. Usually e85 alone is worth 30 whp with a good tune

Didn’t have anything to do with money, it’s all about going fast. He isn’t gonna replace it, just leave it like that. With no exhaust there to fill that hole it was filling up with air and slowing the car down.
Sixgun Sled I have thought about a tin sheet or plastic sheet to cover that hole. It makes sense with air collecting up there.
How bad is the 5th gear bog on the white car? Doesn't sound like it bogs at all.

Riley Neufeld nah I haven’t heard of that but my car was a manual. But sounds like Brett has probably figured out how to tune that out
@@Brandonmoore7 I don't see how you could tune that out as it's a mechanical bog. czcams.com/video/8Fh87FGCnG4/video.html go to 0:16 and you can hear it. At 0:37 seconds you can see the rpms drop when shifting then drop more before rising. Maybe since pray tunes out the torque management it helps it push through the bog?
Pretty sure the car has a gear swap, that might help the 5th gear drop
