  • I know it's been a while, but I was so excited about the Green Goblin this season that I had to make another video to show it off. As I mention in the video, the new build was not idea, but I think it works a lot better than previous iterations. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Love the idea of Stormspire. I found maxing amp to be a lot more beneficial than maxing skeleton warrior, as the archer synergy isn't very strong and the warriors don't really contribute much of overall damage. Nice to see how you're playing it this season, thanks for introducing me to the build :)!

Do you not max warrior or archer?

@@SPPACATR Maxing warrior is really weak, they get marginal damage as well as HP

I didn't directly mention it as it's been discussed in previous builds, but the mercenary is the Act 1 physical mercenary.

With the rationale used for storm spire vs conc iron golem, couldn't you say that same thing about Templar's Might? Level 8 Might is 90% ED, Level 6 Conc is 67% ED and 100% AR; ofc Pride would be a good bit more. Wouldn't there be a pretty good argument in using a real chest on the build, IE trangs/CoH/Enigma/etc to fill in other gaps like defense/frw/pdr/etc over Templar's Might which only adds a small amount of dps?
It would ofc kill the whole 'green goblin' theme haha, but figured it was worth mentioning as it was one of the first things I thought about after seeing the build.
Also, any recommendations on running innocence before Phoenix? Is sustain an issue or is it fine with just pots? Getting my Beast+Innocence together to swap over to the build

I think you make some great points. I'd say Mage Slayer vs Stormspire are interchangeable, but the end goal will likely be Pride. I also think that 5k dmg is probably a good target and dropping anywhere further will hurt the clear speed. You might get away with losing one for of ED but not too many.
I made Innocence last, I think Phoenix is such nice QOL for warping around with or without telestomping

I agree with your rationale - I think once you get your merc to a certain power level the benefit from Templar's drops off quite a bit and you'll speed up your runs by using a "real" armor - likely something with FCR as hitting 75fcr really speeds up your runs. You do need to help her out any way possible early on though.

@@danrobb5760 one thing I didn’t realize until after I posted said comment was, templars might is really big for archers. They don’t have any gear for off weapon ED, and their main scaling is skeleton mastery + auras.
Lvl 50 mastery is 100% ED, so Might would literally be doubling their total ED % vs baseline. Even if you assume conc + fana, t might is easily 25-35%+ more DPS on archers.
How much does archer DPS actually matter compared to merc? I’m unsure, depends how you view the build I guess; ie if you actually care about the summons or not

Not great, not terrible. Hoping you are at least switching some items out, because you are otherwise missing about +12 skill points which makes a massive difference for your skellies damage wise.
3+1 Summon amulet, 2+1 Trang armor, gravepalm +1, +2 Anni, +1 skill ring, 2+1 shako / summon circlet, 3+1 necro head (martyrdom is cheap).
Also for higher damage its more efficient to balance points between amp damage and of warriors when you are min-maxing end game. You clear fast because of your ranged summons. Hitting 40 or even -50 is great with amp.
Not sure which Iron golem you are currently using. I found this:
Cheap IG to do any curse maps - Plague
Fastest clear speed across the board - Infinity
You can easily test all this in plugy.

Great suggestions man! This build is nowhere near maximial, I was just showing what I've come up with so far (next fcr bp). I made a few changes thus far but still more minmaxing to do.

    • @mewdawn917
      @mewdawn917 Před 2 měsíci

@@varyktv yea of course! I didn't find the fcr so important but I guess my playstyle is also very lazy. Overall I would probably put infinity IG over everything.
People think conc is strong but forget that infinity also lowers defense. Clear speed is insane.
I am annoyed though that demon machine has such a wide max damage roll. Can have 30 or 60ish. That's crazy for overall dps output.
