- Transforming a tired truck into a true hot rod in 5 days is not the way most builds go. But the staff of Classic Trucks Magazine and a helping hand from Classic Performance Products (CPP), did just that! United Pacific Industries supplied the 1971 Chevy C10 for this installment of Week to Wicked, and the build crew blasted through the suspension, brakes, and drivetrain, upgrading the stock components with a long list of performance-minded equipment courtesy of CPP. Huge 14” CPP Pro-Series 6-Piston Performance Big Brakes stop the truck on a dime, a CPP 500 Series 14:1 sport ratio Power Steering box and Steering Linkage Kit sharpens response in the turns, and Totally Tubular Front Control Arms & Rear Trailing Arm suspension along with CPP’s new C10 Dual-Adjustable four-corner Coil-over system makes the truck handle and ride like a dream. CPP EFI fuel system components supply gas to the new V-8, for the long haul as well as the track, from a CPP Aluminum Tank that will also last a lifetime. Once the truck was on the ground, United Pacific came along and made it light up with all of their new offerings from headlights to taillights and everything in between.
Be sure to check out the week long build process!
