Serious question: What/who/how do you determine if you are a minority? Father from Mexico and White Mother from USA, = 50% Hispanic/Latino. Or, maybe in a case where on Father's side, Grandmother is 1/2 black, Grandfather is 1/4 Native American? How is this decided? What about a case where a person is 25% black and 75% white - Non-Hispanic? It can get confusing real fast! Thanks!

I could direct you to an official though who will handle all the process to ensure you get approved , I got approved today. I received an email I thought it was a spam , moments later I received a call but I didn’t pick but it was from the agency it went to voicemail
This sounds like you are certifying thru a 3rd party and that's why there is a fee. If you go to certify.sba.gov/, you can self certify. You still need most of the documents Michele mentioned, so there is some prep and the site does make a list of what is needed prior to filling out the forms. It's easy to fill out and there is no fee.
