I heard Wasted played on the radio and immediately went to the store and bought the album. I was literally in the first 10% of America who cranked those tunes. I still have the UK Union Jack tshirt I bought at the concert. So many drunk road trip memories we had rockin out in that era. So get down on your knees and let me know you're eager to please!! That sums it up!! Thank you for the reaction to keep the good times rolling!!
If you're gonna get into more Def Leppard, don't unless for camp value. This is the best original sounding song in their catalogue even though Mutt Lange creamed his ego all over his rock productions. Early AC/DC or David Bowie is recommended next.
Old DL is the best DL. All the songs on the High 'n Dry album are great. Check out more..... like Mirror, Mirror", "Bringin on a Heart Break", "High 'n Dry",
Brother !! You need to check out “ bringing on the heartbreak “ twice .. the album version and then a then there live version from “ in the round in your face vhs/dvd. So kick ass .. you will like both
Check out Mirror Mirror from High & Dry- best song on the album. H&D is album that Let It Go is on as well Also react to Tear it Down -the original version and not the redo version off their Adrenalize album Def Leppard is my favorite rock band of all time They have so many great songs
Steve and Pete were an awesome combination guitars. the exchange and sharing of guitar roles was masterful. No offense to the new comer, Phil Collen, but the band did not have the same sound or edge after High and Dry. My opinion, of course.
I really like this song, but the lyrics are questionable. I’ve always had a crush on Joe Elliott. I’ve noticed over the years of watching performances that he really likes messing around with the microphone stand.
Joe Elliott had one of the best lines I've ever heard.. "if alcoholism car crashes and cancer couldn't kill us the '90s had no fuc*in chance"

This is one of my favorite DL songs... just pure rock. The guitarist is amazing.. in concert he blows the stacks up and can overwhelm Viv Campbell.
This is a great album. Their heaviest album.
One of their best.
Steve Clark and Pete Willis were dynamite.
Hell yea man. Thanks for using my recommendation. Gotta love that 80's rock n roll. Not complicated or anything, but just good fun.
Exactly, couldn't have put it better

Hearing a classic hard rocker from them .. this one goes way back .: man I was 5. Or 6yrs old
Keep in mind, the guys are between 16-19 years old,, in this video.. Rock On!!!

From top to bottom it was their best album imo.
Check out Paper sun by them, it's from the 90s and it's a really good song
Switch 625 is a fantastic instrumental from def leppard. And wasted is a fantastic song too.
Very best Def Leppard song off of the very vest Del Leppard album!
High N Dry, Pyromania, Hysteria and Adrenalize are all worth listening to front to back. I even love Euphoria and X but theyre more 90s poppy
Animal and hysteria are my favorites
Try Photograph, that's their signature song!

Best song about a blow job ever written...best DL song of all time on same album....lady strange...

im watching as a 59 year old. What I see is, Rock is dead. Its all about podcasting now,lol But I'm glad that this old stuff is enjoyed by the kids.

This predates the modern Def Leppard. This is vintage 1981. Original band members.
