The fittings that you were screwing on the hose with a drill are reverse thread, so its lefty tighty, righty losey. If you do it this way its really easy by hand.

Helpful video. I just finished installing my remote fill (same kit)! Please note that the fittings on the hoses are REVERSE THREADED. This is why you had such a tough time with them. They should spin on right away by hand..hope this helps others.

Turn reverse by hand to get them on

I probably should have thought about this right away, given that it's a propane system and all, but your drill idea for installing those fittings was great, but it took me a few minutes to realize that they had to go on opposite to the "normal" way. Once I realized that, they went on very easily. I found your video quite helpful in getting my installation started. Thanks.

Thanks for posting your experience with this kit! They really work hard to make sure they include no instructions whatsoever.

Hi, super helpful video. Was the bleeder valve reverse thread?

The bleeder valve on the remote fill was not reverse thread.

the zip ties you used at the end are weak and will absolutely break while driving. look for industrial-strength zip ties instead. great work though, thanks for sharing.
