I replaced one on my '44 2N last year. Not a big job, but one that needs to be done if it's leaking. And having an extra pair of hands to handle the trumpet is a must unless you have an overhead or cherry picker.

The transmission on 9N,2N, and 8N use the same oil for trans, hydraulic, and rear end. 80-W90 gear oil.

My Jubilee is leaking on the left side, but my 8N was leaking on the right before I fixed it.
Wow. Crazy how many other people have this same leak. So many years or those arms hanging off there I guess lol

Yes for some reason most of them leak on the left side
