Hey I’m glad you liked it 😃
@@withmarko Hey, your videos are so much aesthetic, concise and to the point with such a calming music.
I also want to become something in this tech world and starting from html, css I am now learning React, Tailwind & Redux I want to become a frontend web developer.
But I have this problem where I don't know how much projects will be enough ?
2 ? 4 ? 8 ? 10 ? more ? how much projects should I do till it's time to start applying for jobs ?
Whenever I feel humanity has failed, Marko revives my faith with another banger video 😂
Ah man, thanks! 😊🙏
Loved that intro! Very Oceans 11 vibes.
Also, thanks for sharing about your freelancing experience. I have been sharing a lot, but I feel like more people should talk about this part of the industry.
Hey thanks, haha 😃 Agreed, just subscribed to your channel! 🚀
@@withmarko Yo, WHAT! I feel honored. Ha, I have a coffee meet with an old colleague next week, and I'm positive he's going to ask about freelancing and I was already going to point him to some of my videos, and also your channel (especially this video). I feel like freelancing is a sweet thing once you've worked at it and put in the time and effort, but it's not easy!
I"m a young software engineer and I have a lot to thank you for because before I started the computer science course at university I always watched your videos to motivate and encourage me and today I already have a job as an iOS developer and I bought my first macbook!!! it's just the beginning!!! you're my idol, hugs from brazil
wow congrats! Good luck! Greetings from Chile.
Hvala Marko na dobrim savjetima :)
Pozdrav iz Sarajeva.
As a part of IT industry for more than 14 years, 100% agreed on your opinion for when to do freelance in career! good to see your vlog content. Love it!
the way you explain. so good. love it.
I've been watching your videos since day 1 and each video is a learning experience for me, I'm just waiting for the moment to have a computer again so I can continue learning about this beautiful profession. Greetings from Venezuela
I agree, I was a freelancer at the beginning and then moved to a company. Another aspect is that it's also hard to have the chance to work on big projects as freelance
bro im following you from the start &love your work &the way you doing capturing, vloging, editing, almost everything just love it keep goinig & it make me motivate
I agree with the timeline thing. So valuable content for fellow devs. Thanks
Loved a lot the edition, keep grinding up good work! I love your videos
Thank you my friend! 🙌
I really enjoyed listening to your freelancing stories as it’s something that’s been in my mind for a while😊
Freelancing is only hard in the beginning! Once you get rolling and have spent time understanding a few things, you'll get the hang of it. I've been talking lately about how much success is dependent on networking with like minded people, so that's always a place you can start!
Hey! Thank you for your videos, they are very informative and cozy, continue the same way!
Hey thanks, glad you enjoy them 😊
Really great video, Marko! Keep up the amazing work you do, and hopefully you'll keep inspiring others like you did inspire me!
Brilliant advice! Thank you for sharing!
Hey thanks! 😊
Hvala za video! Samo nastavi!
Loving the videos and advice 🙌🏻
thanks marko. now i know that is one method called manage
keep going with the hard work 🔥
Great points! Thanks for sharing, Marko!
Hey thanks, glad you like it 😃
Again good job, thanks from Czech Republic, Marko have a blessed day :)
Hey man I js wanted to say you are an inspiration I started coding because of ur vids
I watch your videos since you created your CZcams channel and I think that you are the best youtuber showing your day a day and explaining things about software engineering😀
Hey thank you so much! This really put a smile on my face, thank you for supporting me for a long time 😊
Thanks Marko for your sharing
Top video, intro smashed!
Great Video Marko! Loved it
Hi Marko! Thanks for your advice🙂 Good luck :)
I feel like being able to take breaks in-between projects while freelancing was a major selling point for me. Working for a big company is great, but having 3 weeks of PTO a year was just not enough for me.
For suuuuuuure. I am spending 2024 building up those reserves (it's harder as a family of 6), so that I can do the same thing. So far, all I've done is overwork myself, ha!
Marko is just like a big brother❤
Great video! Thank you man.
btw, I feel your devastation when you heard that someone is making 3x times more than you.
During my "middle phrase" as a RoR developer, I was working in outsource company, and some manager from the project I was working on, accidently attached invoice to the trello ticket :D
The company charged 3.5x times more from the customer than they paid us.
Me and my teammate were devastated for couple of days, and the only way to resolve this was to request a salary increase at least 2x. All went good, we got "promoted" :D
Such a great video!
as always good content! shout-out from Philippines!
Hey thank you 😊🇵🇭
your code type game is so fun 😄 love it😍
Hey, awesome videos. I love your content. Where do you take the background music from?
First of all great video and second would you recommend to start with services like coding for other companies or do you think that writing your own software has the same worth of getting experience?
Bro sure feels like a big brother to the young devs....
Awesome video :)
I am currently working as junior iOS dev and I would really appreciate some senior mentoring in this phase of my career, so I completely understand the point of how valuable it can be :)
Hey Marko, i love your videos ;)!
Hey thank you 🙏
Nice videos. I've noticed you worked with a couple of MacBooks like 14 inches and 16 inches. I'm wondering which one you consider as the best option for you?
Hey Marco. Great video as always.
Can you suggest some freelancing websites?
Hey Marko,
greate video :-)
Could you told me or post the linkt which bag you use in this clip^^.
Thanks

Whiteboard: NAH!
Snow: YESS! 😂
Hey marko, I love your vlogs. Ive been following you for a few months and you are my inspiration since I am an aspiring developer as well and hoping that I'll land a job related to web development. My question is, I am planning to buy a laptop either M1 air or M2 air that fits to my budget, do you recommend me to buy the pro ones or? or m2 and m1 will suffice? An answer will be appreciated.
3:06 LOL! that's a good one!
i don't know why, when i see your videos i fell relax maybe it is because i just started new to build my carrier like you☺
He has one of the most chill vibes on his channel. I agree with you.
The video is great 👍
But the thumbnail is on another level👌
Marko, can you make a video about individual contributor vs manager? Appreciate it if you would like to make one💖💖
bro can you make a video about the advantage and disadvantage to becoming a softwar engineer in forn country
when marko said 11- degrees so we have 20 - degrees and more
Hey, Where do you get such chill music from for background?
Curious as to specs of your mac laptop that you use for coding.
That joke... cmon man 😂😂😂
this video is really insane .
What if I plan to take a break from university and try learning from books and courses and then try to freelance? What are your thought about it?
The caps key is upside down 😆 nice:))
Nice that you now show more of ur face than before 😄
Hey Marko, my other account is a long time subscriber to youu, and I am so excited to get my first Macbook Air m1 soon! Would you share your tips or knowledge on how to setup macbook for web development as well as ios development? Would like to seee what you think >_
Here for the business hat hat
Great!
Mare care bas si mi kul lik i volim da te gledam/slusam, aj samo obri te spojene obrve molim te veliki pozdrav.
Hello Marko, I've seen your videos where you make an analytics app and right now I am trying to make my own, but don't know where to start can you share do you still work on this project and if yes your architecture?
Cool video 👍
Hey Marco love the videos
Hey, I'm not Marco but it really depends on what you want to do, if the target is to get a job - just keep on pushing web dev, otherwise look into what you might want to do and go from there
Hey thanks! 😊 I would recommend trying out TypeScript since you are already familiar with JS. It's a very powerful language IMHO, and makes working with JS much less error prone 👍
I also want to chime in that the more important thing to learn more is to find an idea that you are extremely hyped on. Something that you want to exist in the world, no matter what. When you have that drive, it'll power you through the crappy parts of learning a language or framework. Those crappy moments are the moments of true growth and learning
Hi not Marco 😂 I dont really know what i want to do everything is fascinating GameDev, Webdev even apps on phone I guess i have to try out and see what might be the best outcome for my journey
Hi Marko, if it's not a secret, can you tell me what model of mc book you are working on? Does this model suit you well?
Marko kindly tell me which language to prefer first as a beginner intrrested in full stack web development.
I wanted to ask what macbook do you have?
Freelancing sounds like hell to me. If you are a senior, why not just do part time consulting?
high quality advises and code hahaha
Haha, especially the code 😂
How do you like programming language ?
I assume this is somewhere close to Aker Brygge. Could you please share the cafe's name?
What is your mac books' size?
How many years will I study programming, I will be able to work in big campaigns like you
Hey! Witch languages do you use?
Hi what laptop model are you working now?
nice video👍
Hey where did study engineer software and where do you live now
What backpack are you using?
Where can I find the Discord server? I need some friends
You look like a good mentor! 😄
Also, your jokes are so bad that they earned you a new subscriber, sorta, I think 😅
What is your Tech Stack ?
Where do I start?
I don't want to be a freelancer, i already am one! and im living out of a van traveling the world! its awesome!
You have good humor marko ☠️☠️☠️
how expensive is a haircut in Oslo?
I need your help. I have a programming department at the university. Can you help me choose a major, please?
Hey, Marko love ❤ from India
Mac or windows?
Linux?
woah 12k views in just 8 hours. nice 👌 Btw i love your videos.
😂 bro was intimidated by an Indian bully. Anyways good explanation about shoving up snow properly.
great content bro,i just have a question,is it really possible to make $400 an hour working full time from home?.thanks in advance
Hello marko sir I am from India and your videos are really helpfull plz give a detail video on web development and how to earn money from web development as a fresher.
Where do you live Marko?
I want to be your software engineer intern at kahoot 😂
Great video
Thank you 😃
Thanks 😊
@@withmarko no worries 😊
When you freelanced what types of projects were you mostly working on? I am wondering is there a market for freelancing where you make your own API's? I wonder as a software developer what types of things can you do to make money other than making a website?
Excellent video I always learn a lot from your videos or get really inspired.
100000% that's a way to freelance. That's more in the area of having a indie SaaS company, but still viable. The only advice I would give is to talk to companies or people who would be your customers and find out exactly what they want. If you solve their problem, most likely there is someone else with the same problem. That'll also give you experience with product management of what you're building and finding the right way to grow a product and convert a customer!
@@cody_codes_youtube Thanks, yea looking into API's and maybe webscraping. But you have a good point. Now to find out who would be my customers.
@@DevlogBill you should look into the book: The Mom test. It’s a great way to assess your ideas
@@cody_codes_youtube Thanks cody, I will check out this book, I am always up for new ideas. Also, I subscribed to your channel I already found some useful videos on your site. Thanks for the recommendations. At the process where I am over thinking things but I think I will take your advice from one of your videos to try out everything.
helpful , interesting. I explore one freelance platform. Junior (python is main focus for now; a book read, etc). Being in the south of Ukraine, there is almost nothing of IT. Kyiv, Lviv are main IT "hubs". Bcz of war (damn rиssіa), I search a remote one. Few companies want to hire a remote junior with no comm. experience. Having not bad pet projects (websites on FastAPI & Django, & some Data engineering proj.), I'll try to get little commercial exp on freelance, which will attract companies. Very few no-exp vacancies nowadays, and a lot of applicants per vac. Internships are mostly not paid... damn employers (that's why i'd like Ukraine to be part of EU asap; for more order, nicer fairer life). In parallel, I keep searching for vacancies, having interviews. All be good. To start is most difficult🙂. Thanks!
Marco, can you tell us a little about your life story?
Hey, I actually have a pinned post about that in my discord server, consider joining, link in the description 😃
Koji fax si zavrsio?
Why don't you teach us this field❤
The moment I heard 5 booleans i gave up any hope for Shrey
Haha, oh yes Shrey and his legendary manager classes 😂
I thought you were exaggerating with the Shrey story, but then you described his code and was like, "Oh, yeah he sucks"
