- The Sportster line has gone through a massive change in recent years. From the Air-Cooled Evolution engine to the Revolution Max engine. We are now at a point where we no longer have any of the old Air-Cooled Evo engines. The Sportster S is the top-dog of the 3 "Rev Max" Sportsters. Matt and Nick of Laidlaw's H-D sit down and discuss all the details of this 2024 model year 1250 cc Sportster. The bike has been relatively the same for the last 3 years since it's launch on 2021 but it's position within the lineup has been changed since there has been some movement within the family. The guys at Laidlaw's H-D give us all their thoughts about the bike and make their recommendation of who it's best suited for.

A testament to the quality and content of your videos. At this point in my life, I would never even consider buying a Sportster. Have zero interest in a bike like that, but here I am
going all the way to the end of this video and truly found it very interesting. Wonderful review.
Love the bike, I am 39 wasn’t quite ready for the proper cruiser and I am not looking to cruising for long miles.
I just wanted something that is fun to ride, powerful, and from first ride smile on my face every single time I’m riding it.
Just pick up a brand new one from UK dealer great bike.
Might not be for everyone as we all different 💪💪👌👌👍👍👊👊🍺
Great video! I think Nick is right, there's something about the Sportster S that makes you want the Bronx even more. I think it is that the RevMax goes beyond the classic cruiser that the EVO Sportster was. It is the opposite of what the nostalgic masterpiece was. Would love to see it in some other versions as well, perhaps a retro mod XR 750 style bike or maybe a cafe racer. Keep up the great work guys, love these discussions.
I had one of the first released in the country when it came out. Very fast and capable bike. I just traded my 21 Sportster S in for a 24 Sharkskin Blue LRS. The old body just didn't agree with the long rides through the mountains anymore. A few hour ride was fine, anything more was brutal.
Back in the day I rode an XLCH Sportster. Rode the hell out of that bike, rode it to work during the week and went on 3 day, 2 night camping trips with my ABATE bros. Great times.
Can forward control be put on the sportster s
@@javonbrandon it already is forward? They sell a mid kit for it.
Yes ride what you have regardless of how far it is.
@@javonbrandon You would get a more comfortable ride with mid pegs and higher bars.
Matt, I love your channel and reviews. The information you provided over the last five or so years helped my wife and I choose the bikes we ride. When we decided to make our bucket list trip (3200 miles round trip) to Sturgis, we decided to upgrade my wife's bike from a 2019 Sportster Superlow 883. My wife's requirements were light, maneuverable, comfortable, cruise control, performance, and Harley-Davidson. Everyone was pointing her to a Softail. She didn't want a 700 plus pound motorcycle. We rode everything Harley-Davidson had to offer at Demo Days at our local dealership. She eventually rode the Sportster S and right away she told me "This is the bike I like. Build me a cruiser out of it." I added handlebar risers, the rear seat and passenger backrest kit, swapped the forward control pegs for boards, added Italian leather saddlebags from Limit Garage, and the windshield from our 1976 CB500T using the H-D brackets. The trip in 2022 was a huge success. More than 6000 miles later, she loves her 500 poundish Mineral Green Metallic Sport Touring bike. She and her bike get attention wherever we go. I just wanted to let you know, the Sportster S can be a lot more than an around town sport bike.
Sweet review! Matt the exterior painting at the dealership looks rad! Just drove by on the 10 fwy.
Very good review thanks for doing it. Can't wait to see whats next.
Great video! Thanks y’all. I picked up a Pan America recently and love it!
Good job guys. Ever since this bike was introduced I have really liked it. I was a new rider when it was introduced so I was advised not to jump on this one right off (good advise) thank's Lefty aka Dave. It has been 3 years back and I think I am ready for the SS now. I will let you guys know what I decide in a couple of months.
Agree with the Bronx comment. In my opinion, HD is on the right track. There was a time the FXR was looked down upon, however this is no longer the case. Perhaps HD might consider a scooped seat pan on the S to keep you locked in? Food for thought.
Bronx go!!!
Love my 21 Sportster S. It’s Batman’s bike is what I’m told quite often hahah.
Nice review!
@@rocketmcgrain7947 those are trash so I have nothing to worry about. - I’m still Batman.
BRONX 🏁😎🏁
This
I think the forward pegs are stupid, it needs mid pegs. I have the 2022 Pan Am Enthusiasts Collection and it is just fantastic. I have a V&H muffler which is just amazing, boosting bottom end power and torque (under 5,000rpm), making it more ridable and boosting above as well, and it seem to make the motor run better. My other bike is a 1988 Low Rider Sport.
Im 60 years old and have had bikes and been riding since age 10. I currently have a Road King with a 103/6speed and a 2022 Kawasaki Concours. I would be very interested in buying one of these new sportsters. But Id put mid controls and passenger seat with sissy bar for my wife. Don't assume that this is a bike for first timers. I think it would be fun to zip around town on and day trips. Good video.
I've only seen one of these on the road since being released.
Would have been nice to learn more about the USD Forks & the whole adjustability of the suspension.
Great review overall. TY.
Fair criticism. Honestly as more bikes from HD are offering fully adjustable suspension we should probably do a little a bit of content on how to maximize that adjustment capability.
I own a 2023 Sportster S and love it. Needs a tail tidy and nice pipes and it‘s really a perfect little power cruiser. My main complaint is the ride quality on longer trips. Also I think they did themselves a disservice in calling it Sportster because the design and concept is too far removed from the Sportsters of old.
I have a 2023 sportster s and I love it. Just got the mid control kit, tbr exhaust, and the fender eliminator on. Going to be trying to find a shop that can get rid of the heat gaurd and then replace the front turn signals and get accent lighting on it. The biggest problem I have with it is stock the gas tank cap doesnt have a lock.
That’s interesting. Mine came with a locked gas cap from the dealership. Maybe it depends on the market.
Mine came with the lock too. I live in the UK @Helmigurt
The Fat Bob also has a pill shaped head light and the exhaust has a high exit in the rear, not to mention it also had some fat tires.
Contrary to some people’s assertions, I own this bike and I really love it. Everyone I have ran into that owns one is pretty much a fan too. I think the best thing to do with it if you plan to ride it long term or long distances is to customize it like Thunderbike did with their SPS 4. Super fun bike though. 👍🏾
Glad you are enjoying it! I think its an underappreciated bike which is why I wanted to shoot a video on it! I love the revmax engine and the S is a seriously fun bike to ride. Thanks for watching!
@@TH3G0ODGUY no problem and I absolutely agree. I have tested multiple M8s and this is my favorite Harley engine so far. Thanks for the video.
I Love the big tires. Not the pipes but they're growing on me
Its a cute looking city bike. My wife wants one. Cant inagine it being comfy to ride on for more than an hour at a time tho.
With the right exhaust it chops
🎩☕️
I test rode one of these…it’s a fast bike and fun to ride. The only real annoying aspect were the forward controls. I’m a shorter dude and would have to figure out some mid controls if I bought it. The motor rocks.
You’re in luck, HD makes a mid control kit. I dislike forwards on cruisers as well so when I test rode one at an Activation I requested the one with P&A Mid Controls. So much fun!
I love mine. For what I am using it for; it's really good. A shock upgrade is due though
Good review. I like the fact that at the end the bike was compared to a naked sport rather than a muscle cruiser. That is close. It is actually a naked street bike with a foot forward peg (there is no other production street bike with that setup). My only complaints are that the stock seat does not make you feel secure with the torque, it definitely needs a back lip and the gooseneck needs to come back three inches to the rider to take the bend out of the back (Corbin Smuggler seat and a $50 riser fix that though).
Thanks man. I also appreciate your input. Thanks for checking out the video.
Maybe I missed it, what is the name of y’all’s podcast?
Will they ever put the Rev Max on a soft tail? Also, any thoughts why they have not oved the TFT Display onto the Softails?
The revmax will never be in a frame. It kinda defeats the whole point of that engine.
The real question is if we will see classically styled cruisers with the revmax. The closest we have is the nightster, but nothing is stopping HD from using the revmax to build something that looks more like a low ride FXLRS.
This was a necessary upgrade to the selection of Harleys. It was needed so Harley could compete with other bikes like Indian and meet the Euro air standards.
That said we'll probably put the GF on the nightster-S.
Great looking plenty of power riddled with electronic and mechanical problems still after being out no one is really hitting the real issue how many models have you seen with 10,000 miles yet most are trading to another model or brand
I think it matches up pretty well against the Ducati Diavel.
That will be the Day ! The Diavel is in a class by itself ! Not even the Breakout for HD comes Close !!!
Yeah no. Gonna disagree wholeheartedly on that one. The Diavel eats the sportster S’ lunch, then steals its girlfriend, takes her to a nice seafood dinner then never calls her back.
I personally feel like the sportster S could do with a few changes. Either that or another model that’s a little more performance based. They need to lift the suspension a little bit, give it mid or rear controls standard, and swap out that front tire For a 120 wide, duel disk front brakes, and swap the rear wheel to a 17 inch. Could call it the XR 1250. Would satisfy all the people who are still wanting the Bronx. And would require minimal changes to an existing bike
I just wish that they'd do a combination of adjusting the foot pegs a bit back and the handlebars a bit further back to change the riding stance from the semi-clamshell/clamshell riding posture. Clamshell riding positions are a total PITA for any serious riding. Otherwise I'm loving the looks of these newer Sportsters. I do wish they'd have released the Bronx model, it was one that really had me tempted. Matt, the Bronx had a better riding position.
Awesome conversation guys, I have always been very interested in in the Sportster S especially in the sharkskin blue but I am around 6ft 2 in height, would this be a problem in anyone’s opinion? Thanks!
I’m 6ft 1 and I own one. It’s fine but some of my friends comment that the bike looks a little small next to me. But forget about the mid controls - The forwards feel already like mid controls to me. My knees are at nearly 90 degrees.
Is the Nightster selling out west? I never see them on the road in the northeast. Not sure the Bronx will ever come out because the competition is too fierce. The Bronx would probably be five grand more than a Yamaha MT09.
Here in New Zealand People ride what ever sort of Motorcycle they own all over the country weather it's 50 miles or 500 miles. I don't get the mindset that you only ride baggers or touring bikes long distances. Just ride what ever you have any where and enjoy it.
You must be in your twenties.
I mean I get that mentality once you already have a bike, but if you are in the market right now, and you think you are regularly going to be doing long distance rides, I think you will be doing yourself a disservice by not considering a street bob rather than the sporster S. Once you have a bike I agree, send it. If you go back far enough on this channel you will see me riding the buell 1125R I had to Death Valley with the crew before I even worked here. I was much more comfortable the second time we took that trip, because I was on my low rider s with cruiser control, fairing, and saddle bags. I would still take my buell again if it was the only bike I had, but not factoring in what kind of riding you plan on doing when buying a bike is silly, especially when we are talking about me reviewing the bike.
@@TH3G0ODGUY Not everyone can afford a big expensive bagger so people buy and ride what they can afford. And everyone has different tastes in bikes.
@@dawnmathis2659 No I'm 65 . Just saying how I see it.
@@johnnoble1790 the bike I said would be a good alternative to consider if you were doing longer rides is cheaper, at least in the US, than the Sportster S.
A street Bob isn’t some big expensive bagger but in most regards would be the better bike to choose for 500 mile days.
Sportster S owner here, the bike is awesome is super quick and nimble ,has flaws as EVERY harleydavidson motorcycle but its a great bike overall, wish they made the front wheel a lot smaller for looks and maybe better handling, the seat is way too flat for how fast the bike is,and no the sportster s is not my first harley i own a fatboy and a streetlight as well 😉
Want it!
I did a test ride on one of these and it was a rocket, quicker than I imagined. I just did not love the seating position / controls but pretty cool bike. I am sure I could get used to it. I wish they would stop putting the "bronze" on the engine, I just want black on my bikes. That is my least favorite part is all the bronze trim!
See I love the Chocolate engine and really dislike when a bike is all black, I feel that the details get lost without some sort of accent finish. Doesn't have to be the chocolate finish of the S, could be the bronze of the STs, Chrome, black when used on a bike that is mostly chome, or an accent color pop. But all black everything just isn't my style, I feel like it turns a bike in a blob visually. But we all have our preferences haha!
@@TH3G0ODGUYI guess one of us is going to be giving the powder-coater a bit more business depending on how they continue! 😂
@@cbigelow haha yeah I don’t doubt it!
I've noticed between the 975 and Pan Am with the sportster s the spark plug is in a different location. Do you know why?
Different heads maybe…
The 975 models are two plug instead of 4 plug. The larger diameter pistons of the 1250 benefit from two plugs per cylinder so that there is a more complete burn of the air fuel mixture.
The pistons in the 1250 are massive (like bigger than Milwaukee 8 pistons despite the smaller displacement), with a very short stroke, so if you run a single plug the flame front is actually too slow to cover the distance from spark to the outside of the cylinder.
@@TH3G0ODGUY they thought of everything!
@@TH3G0ODGUY thanks for the info man, much appreciated ✌️
TK and GSXR owner. Question: Why is the Sportster referred to in CC’s instead of inches like my TK?
I've heard that the Sportsters were marketed in CCs so that the Metric customers who Harley was trying to convert to their brand would be better able to cross shop and compare. Matt might know if thats the real answer or just an internet myth.
I’ll lean towards myth. XR 750 was racing when I was a kid. Thanks.
We all and need and want dry carbon fiber pieces to replace all the easily swirl mark plastic. Please and thank you @HD! Screaming eagle exhaust and stage 3. Batman fairing!
I’d love to see the rev max in a road glide.
Would RIP and be a great motor for the touring bike.
Great engine, HDs best attempt at a European style sport bike. Unfortunately it's small, I'm a hair over 6' and looked ridiculous on it. I love my FXLRS and it's perfect for a taller rider.
I hope that they build a larger more traditionally styled cruiser with the 1250 revmax to open the door to taller riders who want the revmax but in a cruiser.
Even though the RevMax motors don’t sound anything like a traditional Harley motor, I really like the design of the Sportster S in and of itself; it’s not pretending to look like a traditional Sportster like the Nightster, which to me looks like a plastic Japanese imitation.
I just wish the left hand side of the Sportster S mirrored the right hand side more, and more use of metal finishes rather than plastic where possible.
Yeah, no thanks. I'm sticking with my 2004 Sportster 1200 Custom.
The Scout isn't a touring bike, but with saddle bags they can be and it without the luxuries is more rewarding.
HD could smash Indian if it wasn't for that exhaust design limiting after market options.
It has more hp, more tech, better brakes, similar price to the Scout, looks really nice but with no possibility of touring it can't compete.
Hopefully they fix it soon.
Bronx is good looking 😊 and it seems most like it.
It fits the rider that doesn't care about customization they just want to gas it up and ride it, I think they hit the mark with this one
would love to have the option of that 4 inch infotainment screen for a late model Road King…
Yes!!!
To me it feels like the new Softails are the real replacement for the Evo Sportys. I've had sportsters, softails and dynas and the new Softails beat them all on every level. All previous sportster engines are just a unit construction, overhead valve version of a flathead 45 introduced when the British started to win races in the 50s after the flatheads had dominated for decades. It's just a simple pushrod v8 optimized for racing, so if the M8 meets current emissions standards, I find it hard to believe an updated higher performance 8 valve version of the evo sportster was out the question. They just needed to ditch the rubber mount frame, counterbalance the engine internally, offer kits to easily add power, tweak the chassis with better handling, lower seat height and better suspension...Of course that would make it essentially the same as a new Softail. lol
Sportsters used to be considered fire breathing monsters right off the showroom floor, but Evo sportys were designed to be a more accessible entry point to the Harley thing and the Softails now have that honor. So this bike is meant to fill a different niche.
I do think the fat front tire and forward controls were a poor choice. It has a distinctly V-Rod feel to me and I never warmed up to that bike. But hopefully the drag racing guys will take a liking to this one too and we see some racing!
Talk to Harley Corporate and have them build a Super Cruiser with the Pam America engine.
If they changed/redesigned the pipes and the tail tidy I`d be in like flyn with the Sporty S, also if they cut the weight and the height and bulk of the Pan Am I`d be wanting it too, one more thing, the Nightster gota have a bigger tank, it looks like it doesnt belong on the bike. Other than that, I love kTm😁.
Are they still plagued with electrical glitches ?
I haven't spent thousands of miles on one, but the electrical system is very similar to my Pan Am which i have my 10k mile review of and I go over technical gremlins I encountered. I have since done another 10k miles, so I'm at 20k miles and the last 10k miles I experienced almost no glitches, except when my battery needed to be replaced. When the charge was low the bike was unhappy. Other than that its been flawless since that review, knock on wood.
hallo bro ! nice to meet you, im from indonesia....
still miss the Dyna Wides…
I have a 96 wide glide. bought it new. Also have a 2023 road glide st. I get way for enjoyment out of the wide glide. Just something about them
Love my Dyna, she treats me good.
Fat Bob is actually a better bike that this bike which is so bad on ergo. It’s a wastage of Harley-Davidson efforts.
HOT!!!
It’s cool but that OEM exhaust setup is so damn fugly.
Really kills the look
I took my my Sportster 1200 across the country, you can't tell me the sportster s can't do it too haha
you could ride a vespa across country. But its not suitable for it and neither is sportster s.
Have they solved the full shut down at speed issue? The no restart leaving you stranded on a hwy issue??
It happened to me when I was pushing the limits, hit like 130 something and it shut off. Pull off to the side. Shut the switch off tried restarting and nothing. Let it sit for like 5-10 mins and it started up and drove off fine. So idk what that issue is but it’s a little dumb
Copper-colored parts on the engine looks fake. is the engine covers made out of an alloy that necessitates this color, or are they in fact fake?
Cool bike but where’s the stash? That’s just wrong man
Should I bring it back?
Seems like the sportster s is what the fat Bob was supposed to be, but ended up selling just as bad
Nobody who’s serious about riding or owning a Harley likes the bike. No sense in hiding that fact.
I guess I'm not a true Scotsman then haha.
Yeah it actually makes some power so real Harley guys hate it 😂
This comment couldn’t be further from the truth.
However, if this engine and platform still have all the gremlins and issues of the 21.22 even into 23 models, this Bike will Die on the vine like so many H-D models. Cause with a reputation of unreliability, who would want it.
Hopefully the 2024, have sorted all the problems. 🤷🏻♂️??
Cherish those EVO Sportsters everyone.
I had a '22 and it was a shit box.
@@Jordan-0692 I think you’d one one of very few.
Don't think this new 'Sportster' will be in production for over 60 years!
I give it another two at most. A design disaster.😂
@splodge5714 the old one wasn't really either. Sure, they used the name, but they changed it. Sportsters are one of the most overrated bikes out there anyways. They don't really do anything particularly well.
Of course it changed over a 60 year period!! 😂😂
But it was 'Evolution' not 'Revolution.'
I like the sportster but it's priced above what it offers.
Not for me . Do the Bronx ❤
I can’t stand the Nightster and think it was a colossal mistake getting rid of the real sportster, but I can understand why the sportster S is in the market. Would never buy one - but I guess some people might like it.
The exhaust is terrible. Literally worth part of the bike. Also headlight is nasty and definitely needs differnet bars.
Where’s the mustache?
Haha, I wanted to ask this too😂, I’d love to know you better Steve, that’s only if you don’t mind?
Really hard to like this bike. Forward controls and leaned forward. It must be uncomfortable as heck.
No wind protection and no storage. Thin seat.
$17k for this, harley is out of their minds
All the sporty guys just want a 6 speed 😅
Thats honestly one of the biggest upgrades when moving to the revmax bikes. So much more highway capable than the old evos.
put some saddlebags on it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Should never have been called a Sportster, nothing to do with the orignal. Looks terrible, even worse when someone is sitting on it. So pleased to keep my 2001 1200S.
All i want is a hyabusa power and speed on a bobber frame. Why the fuck cant these corporate execs handle that
This bike has no appeal whatsoever.
And I’m glad i have my iron 883 2018 model.
I’m a no body and my opinion doesn’t matter.
This bike failed miserably to replace ANY of the sporties.
It’s ugly and doesn’t express HD soul whatsoever.
I wish all the OG sporties were still in production and this bike should have been in its own class of bike or apart of the older style sporties.

They need a 1250 that doesn't look like a clown bike 🤡
All the old farts in the comments going nuts over modernization again
did i miss the part where you start the fucking thing so we can HEAR IT!! and do a pull up through the gears, and a fly by... WHAT THE FUCK. is this review?
Nobody wants to hear it, and he knows that. The RevMax is one of the worst sounding engines you'll ever hear on a bike.
Capturing audio for this bike pretty tough due to the exhaust location, but yeah I wish I had gotten a couple of flybys. Didn't mean to upset you, sorry you didnt enjoy the video!
@@stevem4783 I think they sound great with a slip on or a pipe. Stock its a bit lackluster, but thats true of pretty much every stock bike. But everyone has their own opinion.
@@TH3G0ODGUY It's not a pleasurable tone even with a pipe. I get it, you work for Harley, you have to say the right things, I used to be in the same position, but if you truly think it sounds "great", you're in the vast minority.

That is one sad looking poor excuse for something lamely trying to look like a Sportster. Harley and Indian have become laughing stocks to serious experienced riders. Now HD and Indian pander to the kids who grew up on Transformers and electronics.

19:53 Bro, the people who are 5'7" , 5'8" and 5'9" are the luckiest people, because if your one of those 3 heights, 100% of bikes look good when your riding. Real talk, are the manufacturers or designers probably those heights i bet , because the majority of bikes in general are built PERFECTLY for those 3 heights. I need a manufacturer in 2024 to dedicate themselves to designing a bike for people 5'11". Whats crazy is in my opinion, the majority of dudes heights are 5'11" , yet the motorcycle industry seems to never design the majority of there bikes for that height. its like a complete disconnect to me how this is whats going on. Unless they have research showing them most motorcycle riders who buy bikes are short, then it makes sense. But to me, what makes more sense is build bikes for the known average height of most men in America , which is 5'11", its basic common sense. These manufacturers are losing millions of dollars and they seem to dont know it or dont care, all because there not designing bikes to fit the majority size man. Designing bikes specifically for 5'11" heights actually should be the standard. Because a bike designed for 5'11" can still fit all the heights below that still. So your acutely making a bike to fit more riders with one bike. The current design of bikes for people 5'7" thru 5'9" is totally like shooting oneself in the foot Its completely ridiculous. 99% of motorcycles are just to small and completely useless for the majority of the average height men. If the manufacturer just would listen to this nobody who is me, and designed the majority of there bikes to fit 5'11" riders first and foremost, they would see im right. The only other reason i can think they dont do this is like conspiracy theory, of maybe the car manufacturers made a deal or demanded and gave orders to all motorcycle manufacturers to make the majority of there bikes for shorter people, because if they made motorcycles for the majority of men's height of 5'11" then the automobile industry would collapse or if nothing else loose millions of dollars each year. Because they know the majority of men would rather ride a motorcycle then a car, so the only way to keep the majority of men away from motorcycles, the car makers demanded like a mob boss and told motorcycle companies to make most there bikes for people who are shorter then the average mens heights. Just saying, this is the only logical conclusion i can think of. ✌️
HD says that they design most of their bikes for the 5'11" rider, and I think most of their bikes look good for that height and the ergos are mostly pretty good for that height as well. But the Sportster S is so long and low that if you are too tall it starts to look awkward, I agree with that.
The bike is ugly, overpriced, no passenger seat , and awful front tire ! The youth can’t afford it, and the adults won’t ride it ! Who is this bike for ??? I have never seen this model anywhere in public ! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Very well said!
I got tons of compliments on mine, and it rips. Old school Harley fuds don’t like it but I don’t care. You don’t see them because you only hang out with other old Harley fuds.
It reminds me of the Honda Rebel. Plus you don't really notice the engine as a pedestrian like you did on the evolution.😢 I'd also like to see what somebody looks like at the end of a ride in the rain. 😮 It looks like a fair weather bike for sure. But maybe that's the type of person this is geared toward. 😅 I'm still happy with the evolution engine. 😉👍
Harley is trying to reinvent the wheel, and it's really not necessary. These sportsters are overpriced and not popular at all. Bring back the evo sportster.
All they had to do was take the Evo formula, give it a better engine, update the tech, and call it a day. Would've been a Scout killer, that's all anyone was asking for. They could've made a liquid-cooled performance engine that sounded awesome too (like the original Revolution,) but they didn't.
Instead, they made a bike nobody asked for. Now the cruiser guys who liked classic style and sound don't get what they want, and the sport bike guys that only care about performance won't buy it because of the weird ergos and price.
I've ridden one. It's fast, and it handles well. But it doesn't do all of that well enough compared to sport bikes to overcome the riding position and price.
We will all miss the OG sportster…but these new machines are finding their market! Believe it!
@@stevem4783 better engije?engine?! That evo engine is bullet proof! Is it perfect? No. Could it make more power? Sure.. but its a cruiser. Not a sport bike..
@@tylernelson1993 I agree with you on it being bulletproof. I ride an Evo myself.
The fact of the matter is that it's anemic from an output perspective and needed an update. That's not a slight against it, it's a nearly 40 year old design. Harley just completely fumbled it.
Speak for yourself. I had one for a year. They don’t wobble and they are stable all the way up to 140 mph.
